Eli was helping Karkat sit up.
"Are you okay?" He asked.

Jackor sighed.
"That sucks."

Karkat shrugs.
"I guess I'm okay."

Terezi nods.
"Yeah. And right after he just beat up poor Karkat."

Eli nods.
"Good enough." He jokes, a small smile on his face.

Karkat smiles and laughs.
"Yep."

Eli laughs.
"Now what?" He asks the others as he gets up.

Jackor pounds his fists together.
"I say we chase after Hakan and teach him a lesson."

Terezi sniffs.
"Think that's a smart move? You're covered in burns."

Jackor looks at the burns all over him.
"Oh.....right." He says, disappointed. "Why don't we just send the guys I brought with me?" He asked.

Terezi sighs, sitting him down.
"Hold on Jackor. You're injured, and you're now coming up with the book of 20 Ways to Injure the Others."

Jackor sighed, sitting down.
"I guess you're right." He said.

Terezi smiles and sits besides him.
"I'm usually right."

Jackor smiles, modding.
"I'm usually a little reckless." He says.

Eli laughs.
"You said it." He paused. "So am I though."

Aradia smiles at Eli.
"I don't think you are." She says shyly.

Terezi taps Jackor's head with her staff.
"I can believe that."

Eli shrugs.
"You should've seen how I chased after your two buddies." He joked.

Jackor laughs.
"True." He says

Aradia laughs.
"They're a handful."

Terezi smiles.

Eli laughs too, looking at all of his new friends.
"Well, at least we met you guys before we all killed each other." He joked.

Jackor smiled at Terezi, then laughed when he heard Eli's comment.
"More like us get killed by them!" He said.

Karkat nods and laughs.
"Terezi would have slayed you two in ten seconds flat, believe it or not."

Eli shrugged, knowing how outmatched they were compared to these bandits.
"True." He said.

Terezi stood, hearing a rustle. She split her staff and cautiously looked at the bushes.

Eli looked at Terezi, then went to draw his sword, then ,remembered that Hakan ruined it.
"****." He said, grabbing a knife from his belt.

"Back up Eli." Terezi barks. She then sighs. "It's just my sister."

Eli looked at Terezi, than towards the rustling bushes, then sheathed his knife.
"Okay." He said, his hand still on the hilt.

Jackor had grabbed a branch, and dropped it.

A girl that looked a lot like Terezi walked from the bushes.
"I was out on a walk. Hope I didn't surprise you guys." She says.

Eli looked at the girl walking from the bushes, and put out his hand.
"Name's Eli." He said, then pointed back to Jackor. "That idiot over there's Jackor." He said, a huge grin on his face.

The girl smiles.
"Nice to meet you!"

Eli smiles too.
"Same here." He said. "You're name?" He asked her.

Jackor than walked forward and smacked Eli on the back of the head.
"Don't call me an idiot." He said, grinning.

"Latula." The girl says, smiling at Jackor and Eli.

Eli smiles back at the girl.
"Pretty name." He said smiling.

Jackor nodded.
"I like it too." He said.

Latula smiles.
"Thanks." She turns to Terezi. "I saw Hakan run by. He burned me."

"YOU JUST LET HIM GO?! WHAT THE HECK LATULA?!" Karkat yells in frustration.

Both Eli and Jackor nodded.
"No problem. They said at the same time, Eli's head popping up at the mention of Hakan. "What direction did he go?!" He asked her.

Latula is surprised at Eli's sudden question.
"I-I don't know. He told me to stay away from him because he was on overheat."

Eli silently cursed, Jackor stomping his foot on the ground after her answer.
"Do you have a general direction?" Jackor asked, ready to chase after Hakan.

Latula nodded.
"Yes, but, a promise made is a promise kept." She says.

Jackor silently curse, and Eli smacks his arm.
"She made a promise. And she doesn't break her promises, apparently." He said.

Latula bowed her head.
"I'm sorry." She said softly.

Eli looks at Latula.
"No, it's not a bad thing," he said. "It's a good thing, just inconvenient for us," he finished.

Latula nods.
"I see. Hakan has a sweet spot for me, so he keeps me safe."

Eli nods.
"Ah, that makes sense." He says.

Latula nods.
"I'm sorry. I just pay him back for the favor."

Eli shrugs.
"No matter, it's no use talking about it now." He said.

Equius stands. He looks at Karkat.
"Wolfie's back."

Karkat snarls.
"Course he is."

Eli and Jackor turn to look at Equius.
"Who's Wolfe?" They ask simultaneously.

There's a sudden snarl that interrupts any chatter.

"Move!" Karkat yells, moving Eli aside as a werewolf boy leaps from the bushes. Unluckily, the werewolf pins Jackor to the ground. "Don't hit him, Jackor!" Karkat says quickly.

Jackor gasps as he has the breath knocked out of him as the werewolf lands on him.
"Um....help?" He said.

Eli then looked at the werewolf.
"Get off of him." He said.

Karkat grabbed the boy by his scruff and yanks him off, both snarling.

The boy snaps at Karkat with his jaws and catches his wrist. Karkat yelps and kicks the boy.

Jack or crawls away a little, then stands up.
"Thank you." He said, dusting off his shirt. "Now who is this?" The two boys asked.

Karkat kicks the boy away.

The boy yelps and lies still for a few seconds, turning back to a normal kid with silver hair and green eyes.

"He's an it. He has no name. He is a creation from our lab where we once lived." Equius says as Karkat cleans the bite marks upon his wrist.

Eli and Jackor just look at the kid, then back to each other.
"An it?" Eli asked. "They didn't even give him a name?" He said.

"No. They didn't." The boy spoke suddenly, fixing his green eyes on Eli.

Eli looked at the boy.
"Why don't you name yourself then?" He asked it.

"I-I did. Lone." He stutters.
