Dark Pit shook his head and sighed. "Sorry. I just keep thinking that your alter ego is gonna show up." He looked up, inspecting the arena. "Seems many Smashers have disappeared. I hope who's left is enough to start the tournament."

"Want to train me?" Ryou asked. He really wasn't the fighting type, but he wanted to learn.

Dark Pit turned to Ryou with a new interest. "Good idea; if you're here, you might as well learn to put up a decent fight." He walked around Ryou and asked him a couple questions to determine how he should teach him. "Would you prefer to learn with a weapon like myself or hand to hand combat? I have some spare weaponry."

"Weaponry." He stated, smirking quite smugly

"Long range or close? Slow but strong, quick and weaker or balanced?" In his head, Dark Pit was thinking through the different weapon types he owned.

"Whatever is the strongest..." he answered

Dark Pit nodded. "I'm unsure, but I don't really see you using a big weapon. You're so...small." He grinned. "I think a blade of some type would work." He went to the storage room and brought out a pointed, powerful-looking purple blade. "Ok, here's how to use it. Every weapon type can be charged; although this one charges slower than others, its power makes up for it. By pulling the trigger, it can fire shots from long range. Up close, you use it like you would a sword." He handed it to Ryou so the latter could see what it was like.
OoC:

Ryou chuckled darkly, but very quietly as he took the weapon and started to charge it.

Dark Pit got into a fighting stance and charged his Silver Bow. "Ready when you are."
Meanwhile, Marth was standing by Yoshi and Mewtwo, gazing down across the beach. "Yes, it sure is pretty," he murmured. "I like the way the sunlight sparkles across the waves."

Ryou looked at him, signakling that he was ready as he charged.

A portal opened. Grovile and Chuck came out. Camo was mad because he thought Grovile and Chuck abandoned him.

Ooc: Dark Pit is teaching Ryou how to use weaponry.

Mewtwo and Yoshi stood there. They yawned and didn't do anything special.

Ryou looked at Mewtwo

" How about you teach me something too," he suggested

Camo looked around the room. He wanted to fight someone.

"I don't know... can you use Psychic powers?" Mewtwo asked.

All of a sudden, a blast out of nowhere nearly hit Ryou. Dark Pit was suspended in the air, smirking. "Pay attention, Ryou! Don't want to lose your guard in a fight!"

Chuck saw the blast and alerted Camo and Grovile. They ran to see what was the matter.

Ryou growls as his ring glows and he shoots Dark Pit dead on.

Dark Pit shot an arrow at the incoming shot and nullified it. Then he continued to fire blasts at Ryou.
OoC: Oh dear, where did that ring come from? e.e Dark Pit probably won't notice it since he's so into the practice fight...

OOC : it just appears

He dodged the attacks and disappeared, appearing again behind Dark Pit

"So...have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?" He asked as Bakura fully took over and kicked Dark Pit in the face.

OoC: e.e Dark Pit's in the air...can Bakura float?
The full realization of what transpired hit Dark Pit. He snarled, furious Bakura had tricked him. "Enough games! I'll show you power, fool!"
As Bakura appeared, the angel let the kick get close. As soon as he was hit, he grabbed Bakura and threw him at the wall. The new bruise on his face was nothing.
He then started firing arrows as fast as they would load.
OoC: Dark Pit angwy! X3 I don't want to be one of those people who makes their character overpowered and able to dodge anything, but Dark Pit is an expert in battle, soo...

"Geez... what a pushover" Mewtwo raised her hand and used Psychic on Dark Pit to let him stand still. "What's the matter dude? Angry on something?"

OOC : maybe.

Bakura landed and coughed slightly bleeding a bit too.

"Stay out of it!" Dark Pit called to Mewtwo, a bit angry. His attention returned to Bakura, who had been knocked against the wall, stunned.
"You three." Marth walked up to Bakura, Dark Pit and Mewtwo, disapproval showing on his face. "Is it truly difficult to act civil before the tournament starts, hmm?"
"The tournament." Dark Pit's voice was flat. "I've received no notification that it started. And I've been waiting far too long."
"My point exactly," the swordsman stated.
"No. You don't understand."
OoC: I need to find out from Prex if she's going to continue to moderate this. :0 I really like RPing in this, but the tournament must begin!

He coughed, his eyes narrowed by the stun. He blinked then looked at Marth.

"Why don't you stay out of this!?" Bakura growled as he got up and clenched his fist.

OoC: Sorry it's been a while. I am now assuming control of this role-play; I have prex's permission, don't worry! The tournament shall begin as soon as I confirm who's in it. Is Pit, Bakura, Mewtwo, Yoshi, Dark Pit, Marth, Chuck, Grovyle and Camo okay or are there others?

Marth turned to Bakura, his voice carefully neutral. "We're only supposed to fight if it's in the tournament. As a veteran, I'm taking it as my responsibility to make sure everything runs smoothly. I wouldn't call this-" he gestured to the two Smashers- "smooth."
Pit ran up to the group, blue eyes wide. "Everyone calm down! No need to fight! I heard-"
An announcement crackled though the arena. "The tournament will begin in 20 minutes. Everyone return to the waiting room until the first match-ups are called."
"-that the tournament was…gonna start soon, heh heh." Pit rubbed his head sheepishly.
Dark Pit dropped to the ground. "Finally. This could've been done a long time ago." He turned away to head to the practice room, not looking back.

Ooc: My characters are in the tournament Mawile and Silver.

"Heh just enough time to rip apart sand bags. Later softwo" She said to dark pit as she then walked in the training room with sand bags. She then mega evolved as she sunk her teeth into it from her big jaws and threw it at the wall making it explode.

Bakura smiled as he sat down and waited for the tournament to start

Mewtwo and Yoshi waited as well.

OoC: Okay, good! Pit, Mewtwo, Yoshi, Bakura, Mawile, Silver, Marth, Dark Pit, Chuck, Grovyle and Camo. If we put Ricken in that'd be an even 12, but I don't know enough about him to RP him…anyone? Or we could add another character…too bad so many people left…

Marth sighed. "Well at least everyone is calmer." He and Pit walked off to the waiting room.

OOC: *wants to skip time*

OoC: So do you think I should drop Ricken and put someone else in or wait to see if someone wants to RP him?

Okay, so I have it ready. This will be done in a double-elimination tournament, meaning that there will be two brackets. If a person loses once, they drop down to the lower bracket and face others that will have dropped. If they lose a second time, they're out of the tournament (but NOT out of the RP). I used a randomizer to set you guys up, so…
Also, it doesn't matter if you win or lose. The fight shouldn't go on forever with no loser. Ok? :3

Marth looked up as the first announcement was made concerning the fights. "Up first in the arena we have the Fire Emblem representative Marth!"
Pit pumped his fist excitedly. "You can do it, buddy!"
Marth sighed as he made his way to the middle of the stage. "Didn't think I'd be one of the first to start out…" he mumbled.
"And his opponent will be…the Sonic representative Silver the Hedgehog!"

OoC: You can pick someone to root for (I won't be mad if you root for Silver, lol)! And GigaCamo brought up a point when I spoke with him: what about items and final Smashes? I'm wondering if I should have the spectating Smashers be the ones who toss out items from Smash Brothers games so they're participating in some way. What do you think?

Another teenage boy enters the smash bros. arena, waiting for somebody to assist him. He held a letter in his hand, which was an invite to participate in the tournament.

OoC: Oh, good then! As long as people don't spontaneously spit out Smash balls, it'll be fine. Speaking of…should we play with Smash balls off since they're probably game-breaking? X3

Something caught the corner of Pit's eye. Someone was entering the arena! A new Smasher? He quickly hurried over to see if he could be of help.
"Hi, my name's Pit! Here for the Smash tournament? Good thing- it's just starting!" He stuck out his hand to shake and grinned.

OOC; whatever, you are the GM

Yami shook his hand and smiled back.

"Nice to meet you, Pit," he said, handing him the note afterwards.

"You can call me Yami. I am also looking for another smasher here....if he showed up..." he added, referring to Bakura.

"Ok, Yami!" Pit replied cheerfully. "Another Smasher? You mean like him?" He pointed to Bakura on the bench. "He arrived sort of alone, and he and Pittoo started fighting a lot. Dunno why…"

OOC: I laughed at your post, shadme!

His eyes widened as he nodded.

"He has been causing quite a bit of trouble around Domino City, or where I live. He has been so hard to find! How did he get here?" he explains with shock in his voice

OoC: X3 Good! When I RP Pit, I try to make him a humorous pers- I mean angel.

"Trouble?" Pit asked. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. Although he did defeat the Chaos Kin so…I guess he can't be all bad." Pit nodded as if to verify his point. "He sorta arrived stalking us in the shadows, if that helps…"

Yami sighed then laughed.

"He does that a lot..." he answered

The angel grinned. "Just like Pittoo! Hey, there he is now!" He pointed to the dark angel walking out into the arena. As if he knew his nickname had been said aloud, he headed over to the small group. "You a new Smasher?" Dark Pit asked Yami, ignoring the light angel. "Or a spectator?"

"Smasher, " he said in a serious tone.
