Prism Break and Hex were supposed to be in wave 3 too but were pushed off and will be exclusives (TRU will have Prism Break and Target has Hex in their 4 pack).

I saw a DCPI code for Hex at ToysRUs. She'll probably be out with the rest of the Swap Force sets.


Also, my mother managed to snag a SDCC Wash Buckler for me!

Wasn't Prism Break confirmed to be a Target exclusive? Also haven't seen any of the new sets outside of Flynn's Rescue Ship and the Target 4-pack.

Whoops, I had them reversed, Target exclusive is single packed Prism Break and TRU has the single Hex.

From the looks of it; Molten Hot Dog isn't going to be released.

Yeah it doesn't look good, the products shots that we have seen were in the Giants packaging, so it doesn't bode well since they have switched over Swap Force now.

They could always make a Molten Fire Bone Hot Dog! Wishful thinking.

I'm not sure if it was confirmed... but the TRU Big Book image that was posted earlier of the tower set: it includes Rattle Shake, Freeze Blade, and Kaos. Freeze Blade is the blue thing on the bottom and Kaos is standing on top of the tower.

You're right! We just got our Big Book in today and it does indeed feature Kaos!

By the molds being attached to the bottom, does that mean that you can't swap characters or that the water/land/whatever is stuck on the bottom?

The elements on the bottom can't be removed. Wash Buckler's water can't come off. He does swap, though.

Darn lazy, that. His tentacles look messed up too.

Well guys, I've done it again! Another trip to TRU, another early Mega Bloks Skylanders set. This time, I found the brand new Outlands Kaotic Castle in its non-blurry glory!

I don't get why Rattle Shake's eye is closed, except for his Swap Force statue but they don't HAVE to copy them totally! RS looks ugly IMO.

Apologies, I don't visit that much anymore, but has anyone in the UK seen any Swap Force packaging Skylanders yet? Sainsbury's had all of their Sky-bloks 'reduced to clear' as have most other stores I've been to, but no sign of the Swap Force ones anywhere yet.

It's not really any different, I think it makes it a bit boring, as they've made this set before and just added more wave 1 things, but good find.

Just an update: the Black Ram that comes in Kaotic Castle is actually flocked!

The Pop Fizz set is a good start. You should grab a few of the Hero and Villan packs, too.

Get the Kaotic Castle. It looks sweet and has 2 Swappers off the bat.

Same, they're just repackaged, but with a different-colored bumper and Portal.

What's the new bumper, green?

Are the Portals those ones that are coloured, like they stay the colour of the light even when they're not bumping?

Sort of had a mega blocks shopping spree today...

Picked up Legendary 3 pack from TRU, finally finding one again! Only on the shelf. Woo hoo! It was BOGO 40% sale, so I decided to finally pick up the Chill set - Sky Turret Defense. Was excited, too, to finally see some SF stuff.

Went to K-mart later, and that's the most SF stuff I've seen! Picked up Stump Smash and Hot Dog Battle Portals, Flynn's Rescue ship, as it was on sale, and the Ultimate Battle Arcade, as it's been awhile since I've see it. It was on sale, but not a very good one. D: Still, seeing the news above from Matteomax about the re-package, I'm glad I got it. It'll probably be more expensive with more figures, and like Fan of Skylands said, I already have Terrafin and Trigger Happy.

So that was my exciting day of Mega Blocks shopping, and I wasn't even shopping for that reason!
