Delgato headed back with Alyx beside him. Alyx had dried her face, but it was still red. The two ate their food quickly, then Alyx went to stargaze, and Delgato started on a splint.

Once Bryan made it to the campsite, he put out the fire for the night, and walked out of the small clearing, out into the thinner part of the woods. He walked for a while, and stopped at the ledge of a cliff, and scaled a nearby tree, far away from the campsite. He sat on one of the high limbs, and looked out over the forest, watching the owls, and other birds fly by. He gazed up at the stars, and closed his eyes, content.

Miles woke up. "So what happened?" He asked Delgato and Alyx.

Alyx looked at Miles with her red face, a few tears still visible.

Delgato was halfway through the splint. He shrugged.
"Nothing really." he said calmly. His words were calm, but his eyes held their usual mischief.

Bryan started to doze off in the tree, but kept trying to keep himself awake.

Micky prowled around the forest area, looking for anything edible. "There's almost nothing here. This is freaky. There's usually something around."

Delgato finished his splint.
"I'm not falling asleep any time soon, so I can take first watch!" He called to Bryan.

Miles shrugged. He was tired, and couldn't think straight. He fell asleep once again.

Alyx started to drift off to sleep.

Bryan dozed off, and fell asleep in the tree.

Delgato sat and listened intently for any unusual sounds. So far, he didn't hear anything. He was curious on how that loner from before was doing.

Miles awoke in the night, hoping to sneak off to the mountain. As quietly as he could, he camoflauged and tiptoed around Delgato. Miles neared the mountain, and climbed to the top.

Delgato heard a few crunching sounds and looked around. Not spotting Miles, he sighed.
"Guess I better hope Alyx stays asleep till he comes back, or else I'll have to sit through her worrying." he said.

Alyx turned over in her sleep.

As Miles reached the top, he put his legs over the ledge. He took a deep breath of the night air.

Delgato sighed and tightened the splint a little. Who was that loner...? he thought.

Bryan rolled over in his sleep, and fell off the branch. He landed on another large branch a few feet down with a sickening thud. He gasped for air, for he had the wind knocked out of him, and coughed up a small amount of blood. Once he gathered his senses again, he sat up on the branch, and coughed a few times, and settled back down again.

Miles slipped a tiny bit, almost falling. Instead, his leg scraped against a sharp rock right below him, giving him a long gash along his calf. Miles knew he had brought some bandage in his knapsack, so he grabbed that and wound his leg in it. Because the gash was so long, he had to wrap his leg from his ankle to his knee.

OOC: Poor Bryan. Now everyone is getting injured.

Delgato looked up at the sound of a thud.
"You okay there Bryan?" he called worriedly.

OOC: Stupid trees. :3

"Fine." Bryan said in a rasp voice.

Miles tried standing up, and suceeded. He hobbled his way down the mountain, feeling immense pain. He tried running, but failed completely. He worked his way back to the campsite, and fell asleep at the base of a tree.

"Hey Miles, why're you injured?" Delgato asked.

"Injured? What makes you think that? I'm perfectly fine... sorta. I slipped and fell on the mountain." Miles explained, stretching his injured leg.

OOC: For a three-user roleplay, we make it work.

Bryan coughed up some more blood. "Argh. I'm going to get a drink. This tastes terrible." He said as he started climbing down the tree.

Miles noticed Bryan climbing down from the tree. "What happened to you?" He called to Bryan.

"I fell a few branches down." Bryan said in a rasp voice.

"That's gotta hurt." Miles said, feeling blood run down his leg. He adjusted the bandage a little bit tighter.

"Your both bleeding to death. I feel I'm next." Said Delgato.

Miles tried to examine his wound more closely, removing a tiny bit of his bandages.

Alyx climbed up a tree only to have the first branch crack. She collapsed with a thud.

Miles ran over quickly. "Another injury?" Miles said, completely shocked.

Alyx's leg was cocked at an odd angle.

Bryan started to walk out of the campsite, and got far out of range, looking for water. He wasn't able to see the campsite anymore, even in the distance, and there was no river or stream to be found. He was about to turn back whe he started to stumble, and fell to the ground, coughing up blood. He tried to stand, but fell to the ground again, unconscious, still coughing up blood. A small pool of blood started to form near him, as he coughed up more.

Delgato looked for Bryan, but all he saw a pool of blood and a trail. He thought of following it.

Micky was able to catch a few fish before she had to return for the night. "At least I found something." She thought. She deactivated her power, and started a small fire to cook the fish, before she had to settle for the night.

Delgato walked to where Bryan was. He quickly looked away. Grabbing the boy by his collar, he dragged him back to camp.

Miles fretted. He had no idea how to help anyone injured.

"Found Bryan. Doesn't seem he'll be alive much longer by his condition. How's Alyx?" He called.

"Fine." Alyx said coldly. "Nature's just cruel."

"Oh, jeez. Oh, jeez." Miles paced back and forth, through the pain of the gash on his leg.

Delgato sighed and looked around worriedly.

"What are we gonna do...... What are we gonna do...." Miles continously paced.

Bryan coughed up more blood, and opened his eyes. "We must suck, this is only the first day." He said quietly between coughs.

"Stop talking. Your wasting what strength you have left. Your condition is proving you probably won't survive much longer." snapped Delgato.

"If he dies, we all die. Or at least I will." groaned Alyx.

"Will you just shut up!" choked Delgato, "you guys are reminding me of my family!" he ran off.

"Delgato?" squeaked Alyx nervously.

"What just happened?" Bryan coughed, and tried to stand up. "I can try to find him."

"No. You're in bad condition. It's best if I go get him. Besides, he's crying. Delgato never cries." whimpered Alyx, she struggled to stand.

"You really shouldn't try to stand, how about we give him some space? I can tell he just needs some time alone." Bryan leaned back, and fell onto the soft grass, coughing.

Alyx nodded.
"You sure don't seem alright. Are you okay?" She asked.

Delgato ran through the forest and came to a small meadow. He sat there and cried.

"Well, that's it. Can we all accept the fact that we're gonna be dead by day 5?" Miles asked Alyx and Bryan.

"I think I punctured my lung. I might be internally bleeding, and it's getting hard to breathe. Stupid trees." Bryan managed a smile.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

"Bryan apparently won't make it past today" whimpered Alyx, rubbing her leg. She'd need Delgato to make a splint for it later.

"Wish I knew how to treat injuries. All I can do is bandage stuff." Miles stated, indicating the giant gash on his leg. When Miles looked at his cut, he noticed the whole bandage was soaked red. He decided to put a new bandage on. "I should've brought a change of clothes." Miles muteed to himself, seeing some blood on his pant leg.

"Probably not." Bryan sighed. "But I guess there's a chance in everything. I'm not giving up that easily."
