She tried to find a way in, she wanted to save that poor Pegasus.

Steel slowly pushed open the doors. "Is Star still in here?"

As I see Steel enter I call out to him. "Father I'm over here," I say gritting my teeth in order to resist screaming in pain.

OOC: by windows i meant bars -face hoof-

"By Celestia, you're alive!" Steel exclaimed, bounding over to the starry pegasus.

I smile and nod.

"Yeah I'll live though it will be a while before I can do anything myself. That psycho really did a number on my body. The summary of all the damage is in a folder on the table behind you. Also have you seen Rainbow. How is she doing after what happened yesterday?"

She managed to find a small hole in the wall, She was small enough to fit in as she did.

Sicolus felt nautious. he laid where he stood, his ribs where aching and he saw black at the corners of his eyes threatening to take him. "no seriously we get our breakfast up here. rusty will be waking up soon and i don't feel like being tempted to break a promise i just made because he is hungry and crying."

"Dont worry it'll be here soon, and if it isn't I will personally swear at the guard who comes in." She said jokingly.

"No, I haven't." Steel stated as he opened the folder. "For the love of Celestia, Star! Is there anything he didn't hit?"

I shake my head.

"I don't know father the doctor was in here all night trying to keep me alive. I am in so much pain that I can't even tell you what hurts and what doesn't. All I know is I will live."

The medic walked in, "Luckily the wound was inches from his heart. His buffness saved his life." he closed the door behind him. He walked past Starlight to the other side of the room, "I've got a little something to ease the pain, but you will need to stay in bed for at least three days, but even then I wouldn't do much." he brought over a syringe that was a quarter full of a clear liquid.

A worker Pegasus came out into the cell block with a large cart that held various piles of mush, "Alright everypony, who wants the stuff that fills your holes?" she pronounced as she turned to the first cell on her left and began laying out small trays.

Rainbow Dash made a quick right, from the door she entered through, to walk a hall that had several doors lined on each side. She went in through the third door to her left which was further away from the others on that side. It opened into a slightly crowded cafeteria. Spotting a familiar pegasus, "Namomo!" she called out.

The science pony began his gate again, "There are many rooms that are occupied, and when I say many, that's about 75 individual testing labs... On this floor. Good thing they only assign one pony per level." he stopped by one of the lab doors, "A higher authority then me will tell you the rest." he pushed the door open to enter and await Roses following.

Sicolus smiled "about time". By then the black had reached the center of his eye and he could no longer see. He closed his eyes and laide his head down. He then laid motionless, without consciousness.

"Uh.. Sicolus? Are you ok?" She said, nudging him. "Uh... I need some help over here!" She yelled, nervous.

As the pain lessens I manage a weak nod.

"Thank you Doc, for all you've done, I truly appreciate it," I say with a smile.

"Sicolus? Are you alright?"

The hole had been leading to a closet, a empty one.

In a room somewhere in the factory(position is disclosed), "We are picking up an unfamiliar heat signature. Looks like somepony has made their way into the nest." an earth pony sat behind a monitor with a headset on and a keyboard in front of him. The dark room was lit by the camera monitors, and a small back up light in the corner. Another pony walked over to view his screen, "Should I sound the alarm or put them through the test?" he turned away from the screen to the one who approached.

"Run the test."

The door in the closet FeatherFlight was in, but there was no one on the other side. It opened into a white walled room, with only one other door and a mirror to the left. But there was also a camera in the high corner to her right, in a spot most likely to be missed if one doesn't look around.

The pony on the cart stopped and turned back toward Sicolus and Sage, "He's always giving us hell. Ignore him, he'll be up in ten minutes." he continued handing out the "food".

After a meal of oat milk, Rainbow Dash exited the more empty cafeteria. She returned to the cell room and looked sown over the side, I remember Starlight being there... But, where is he? She sat with a good on the rail, That one pony from before... Sicolus... Nothing good ever comes from that unicorn. she stamped her hoof on the rail making a loud 'clang' that echoed through the cell block, What happened!?

Steel flipped through the rest of the pages in the folder before setting it down. "Maybe I can get Dash up here. I'm sure you'd like that." He said, not looking at Starlight. "I mean, you are old friends and all."
He glanced at the folder again. "I'll need a copy of that."

"That would be nice, Father, I say with a smile. I think I will try to sleep until then, if that's alright with you two, I say to the Doctor and my father.
I didn't sleep well at all do to the pain but with the pain lessened I think I might be able to get some actual rest. Please let me know when Rainbow arrives." I yawn and I try my best to keep my eyes open as I wait for an answer from the two, but soon exhaustion takes over and I fall asleep.

"Rest would be fine. If you need anything my assistant is on standby." he nodded the unicorn in the corner of the room who was going over some of the previous records. He then turned to Steel, "A copy? What ever for?"

Sicolus lay there unconscious. The lack of food and the shock from having his ribs broken twice lead him to black out. He dreamed of when he was a child. His parents took him to the hospital concern written on their faces but it felt more like disappointment. They brought him to the doctor's office and left him there. He waited. Then through the door came someone he would learn to hate, doctor gulaven. He checked x-rays and health reports. Them guards came in and stole him away to a place where your deepest darkest fears come true. He didn't even know if the parents where apart of it or just as innocent as he was. The thought haunted him up to the day he lost his sanity.

Rose walked in and joined the science pony.

The room had two pegasi working with test tubes, and one with small suction cups on his hooves and his forehead. There were wire coming from the cups to two separate machines with monitors. The monitors showed a table of jars and test tubes. With each move of one of his hooves, mechanical arms moved around and was mixing the tubes. The pony on the machine wore thick sunglasses, "Is that this week's janitor?" he asked removing the glasses as he turned around. His mane is a light green and grey sweep over his left eye. His tail was just as clean, and his coat covered his cutie mark along with his white body, "Why hello." his soft voice said, "What did you do to get this job?" he went on to remove the suction cups.

A guard came by, "He's still breathing... Don't wort too much, I've seen him take more."

"Ok.." She said to the guard, nodding her head. When he left, she looked at Sicolus. A tear dropped from her eye onto his black fur. "It's my fault, like it always is." She said, walking away and staring out the bars.

"I was just assigned it I don't really know" Rose said. She started to think about her nightmare again. It made her shiver a bit.

Raising his wing over her, "Well I can tell you, the labs are probably the safest place to work." he smiled to her, "Now, the lab just one door to the right, as you step out, is in need of a little tidying. Don't mind the ponies in there, they'll stay out of your way, they just work their flanks of on finding ways to make the food here a little more edible." he walked Rose to the door, "Name's Gift Wing," he extends his hoof as he pulled his wing back, "The boys just call me Gift."

Rainbow Dash stopped at the door to the infirmary, "Is he in here?" she slowly opened the door to see the medic looking at her.

"Ahh Rainbow Dash, Starlight was wanting to see you." he was oblivious to Starlight's feelings for her.

Everything was black. Sicolus sat in the depths of his mind, the voice floating around him, laughing at him. "i thought we already settled this" he said a little annoyed. 'we did but here i am the master' said the voice. "how about as soon as i wake up i ram my head against a wall maybe that will shut you up" sicolus said true to his word. 'why you used to love our conversations, if you ask me your getting soft' spoke the voice. "well that was when you weren't mocking me and Soft?!?! I am as i always was, you are the one losing it now get a grip and quit being a baby your annoying me". 'me? a baby? your the one whining' mocked the voice. "i am not apposed to self harm though im sure you are it is my mind, i don't mind being a lunatic and in some cases it is benificial, but frankly i am sick of your constant badgering. what is going on, on the surface." 'oh nothing much just a riot and everyone is escaping' said the voice. "I bucking hate your lying face" Sicolus said. the voice laughed.

Sage was about to commit suicide. "Why do I continue to live this miserable life." She said as her hoof got closer to the electric bars. "No." Sage said, pulling her hoof away.

"I wouldn't recommend that, you'll just give yourself a nasty shock." the strange pony was leaning on the wall next to the bars with his right side looking into the cell "They don't make them leathal, just enough to keep the ponies back." he stood and walked over to the door, "C'mon... Lets get you to work. The Doc. figured with your vitality you could do a little work before the separation." he opened the cell door and waved her through.

"I'm Rose" Rose said with a smile. She felt a kindness in him somewhere. He wasn't like the others to her.

"Oh ok.." She said, stepping out.

As I hear talking and after my sleep I open my eyes and yawn. Unable to truly stretch without hurting myself more I lay in my bed and gaze around. As I see my friend and crush, Rainbow Dash, my heart jumps. I just listen and wait unsure of how to react.

OOC: I figured I would make a love interest here... You know, in the Rainbow Factory

Gift Wing lowered his hoof, "Rose... Well Rose I've got some work to get back to, and if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask." he nudged her out the door, "Don't want to disappoint authorities." he winked before letting the door close. Like each independent lab room(they are square shaped with a hall in between each one. Opposite of the door is a large window that reaches around the other three walls, viewing the halls), the door was marked with a number, and this one was Lab 42.

Sage walked to the guard, looking at her power-proof hoof cuffs.

Sicolus's eyes opened. He heard about what sage was about to do from the voice and planned on stopping it. Sadly when you are in a sub-coma you lose track of time, what seems like second could be days. He didn't smell burned skin so she didn't meet a shocking ending. They must have tooken her and from the ache in his ribs it was the same day. So she was fine...unless they where experimenting on her or taking some more colors. For the first time in 9 years he felt helpless. He looked at a passing guard and in the politest tone he could manage, without joke or giggle, he asked "where did they take sage". It killed him.

OOC: Geez, I missed a ton.

"In case of another accident. I was told to keep these things on file."
Steel jumped as Rainbow entered. "Maybe I don't need to get her." The black pegasus crossed the room to another door and held it open. "We should let you two catch up." He said slyly. "Doc, I need a word. In private. It really is important."

The unicorn nodded and followed, "Sure... Its nothing, dirty is it?"

Rainbow Dash stepped in seeing Starlight's wounds, "This is my fault... I shouldn't have tried the separation without proper equipment." she sat with a tear in her eye.

The guard escorted Sage to a higher level in the Factory, it seemed to be quite far from the cell blocks. There were larger windows without hard, but the glass looked thick. The rooms were more open with multiple desks and computers, "The Arch Maven would like to speak with one of the cell members, and I suggested you since you have a record for aggression." he smiled a bit evilly. He walked her to an elevator, "Inside." he waved her in.

Gulagen had helped remove the excess bodies, and is now returning to his room, "The factory is starting to go down." he flopped into his chair. A speaker light on his desk blinked with small beep. He reached up to press the light, "Yes?"

"Gulaven, long time huh?" a voice familiar to the Doc. made him sit up.

"Doctor FernField. Yes it has, why do you call?" Gulaven pulled his chair up to the desk.

"Do you mind speaking with me in person? Say around 7:30 tonight, I know you aren't busy then." the voice replied.

"Uh, yeah. What is this about?" he wrote down the time on a miniature piece of paper.

"I'll tell you later, time to get back to work." he hung up before Gulaven could reply.

"No, it's not dirty." Steel assured, closing the door behind them. He took a deep breath before sitting on the floor.
"Voices, Doc. Whispers in my head." He rubbed his temple. "I'm hoping its just stress. Or maybe the neuro-cybernetic circuit in my cerebrum picking up radio interference."

"You have what in your head?" he asked in surprise, "I don't think it was I who fixed you up..."

The guard looked down on Sicolus, "What does it matter you you? You cause trouble, why do you want to know about someone other than yourself?" he started walking off.

Gulaven walked back to his door, but did not open it, "What in the name of Celestia does he want to talk to me about?" he paced back to his desk to look at the files he had layed out before he left, "Could it be..." there was a knock at his door, "Khhmm, yes?"

"Doctor, its Namomo." the girl replied.

"Come in then." he pushed all the files together and placed them near the edge of the desk. She came in with a tray holding some sliced apples and a thing of water. "Oh, what is this for?"

"I know you don't usually have breakfast, but I thought you could use a little something." she answered placing the try on the desk, "I also came by because Rose was asking to see you last night. It is about something she had found in the refinery."

Sicolus was about to lose his temper. He stood up and a sharp pain traveled along his his ribs. He stepped to the bars and looked at the lock. 'Don't kill us' the voice said. He focused and his horn glowed. There was a pop and then a creaking sound. The door opened. He was struck by a wave of exhaustion and the black at the edge of his eyes threatened to overtake him again. He stepped forward and said "I'm gonna ask one more time nicely" he didn't smile nor laughed "where is she".

"No you weren't. That yellow pegasus, Glaze. The doctor that was fired a few years back. Kept singing that damned song..." He shook his head. "My neuro-cybernetics allow me to move my hoof and wing. They're all made from outdated factory machinery and computers."

"Why haven't you changed them then? Eh, besides the point... What voices, what do they say?"

The guard turned back to Sicolus, "Get back in your cell." he stamped.

ooc: man you guys have gotten far!

Rose hurried to clean the labs.

"They call my name. Kinda sounds like a mare." Steel rubbed his head again. "I hear it strongest near the loudspeakers. A pony of lesser sanity might go as far as saying the.factory itself was whispering."

The room Rose had run into, with the food specialists, had the remains of the ponies after the color extractions. They were having from hooks, in multiple locations, and had many cuts and openings where only the bones were visible. One pony working with a few liquids spotted Rose, only watching her with no words, like the others, he wore a lab coat and a thick pair of shades.

The medic pony rubbed his head now, "Hmm... Never heard anypony complain of voices. Do they say anything besides your name?"

Rose just looked at the pony. "I guess I picked the wrong room to clean" Rose said as she walked out. She knew the image of those ponies will be in her mind and it will haunt her dreams.

Sage walked with the strange pony, worrying about Rusty and even Sicolus.

I reach out and hold Rainbow's hoof in mine.

"No, Rainbow if it is anyone's fault for me nearly dying it is that psycho that attacked him. The Doc is surprised I even lived, he says it was my muscle that saved me. The muscle stopped it only a few inches from my heart. Enough of that though I made something for you Rainbow but unfortunately its in my utility belt over there. I can't go get it in my current condition. I hope you like it, it matches the color of your body."

"I haven't listened too hard. It just started after I dropped Star off here yesterday." He rubbed his temples with both his hooves now. "My head..." He groaned.
