Most ppl voice opinions where is is asked for or suitable.
i.e. Ppl post thier distaste for LOS in topics about the series in general or ones that ask for the opinion. Some people will rant and rave about Cynder and Spyro being brilliant in topics about the subject or also in general topics.

Activision recently made an alliance with Bungie stating that they're history of FPS games (i.e Halo series) is a brilliant example for any multi-playing online game... Somethings telling me that if Activision ever get round to making a new Spyro game then it may include some online multi-playing modes, especially if Activision are trying to focus so much on making their multi-player games better... Or, maybe not.

I wouldn't want multi-playing in a Spyro game, so it seems like they are already ******* it up.

If it were optional then it wouldn't be so bad. If you can play some new, non Spyro-like characters, then it may be fun.

I'm not sure multiplayer online would work with Spyro..... I mean, neither the classics nor Legend of are really 'multiplayer' games (DotD is 2 player, but no more).
I suppose optional wouldn't be so bad, but I'm not sure how 'packed' the game would get (comparing Spyro's popularity to Halo & Smash Bros here though).

When I think Spyro MMORPG, I think of a game in which you make your own dragon, then roam through a huge world completing quests. Some are small, side quests, others are big, game-advancing quests.
My bro plays World of Warcraft, and he says the story is virtually non exsistent, and only the really high level characters get into the story. For some odd reason, I could see that happening in a Spyro MMORPG.

I don't think it would be a good idea either, I can see how it would work... Customizable Dragons, choose an element (one per match) and then some kind of special power up that gives you Convexity breath for a while... And maybe armour like in DOTD that gives you power ups (except fury armour)

But the trouble is if you make your own dragon then it's not a Spyro game because you don't play as Spyro. It's just a dragon themed MMORPG.

Tell that to Bungie... And if they're allied with Activision now then they'res a very high chance that they'll be helping with all online games, thats the whole reason why Activision started the partnership...

Perhaps we're over reacting. We don't know if it's going to be an MMORPG or if Bungie's working on the game, so it might not me wise for us to get so... worked up.

Fair enough, but at least then it wouldn't be game canon to the series. And when you play the games the sprite could be Spyro. You would use your personal dragon avatar for chatting and moving around.

I just realized that the camera in DotD pulls way back from the characters. Who else thinks it would be fun to have a camera that moves as Spyro moves, making you feel like you're moving with him? Maybe not all the time but I think the camera should be pulled closer to Spyro most of the time.

I know, I'm just saying that the whole reason they allied with Bungie is to improve on their multi-playing skills so who's to say that they won't start to make every game have multi-play one way or another...

I prefer the camera angles in the Classics, because it is always behind Spyro. Where as DOTD sometimes it is far away, which is cool, then other times it is in some awkward position and you can't move it anywhere to look around.

By the way, I thought you meant the camera being to the left/right of Spyro but really close up, that's why I disagreed, so sorry for misunderstanding.

If you watched the Saw game or the Prison Break game on YouTube, you'll know what I mean.

The camera is just too far away from the character at a lot of points.
I don't like it how they put that side-scrolling sort of view in the ruins of warfang ,I'd prefer it if they kept the camera in the position behind the char (if you know what I mean) but a bit closer...like in the classics
the way they positioned the camera in DoTD makes me think of God of War camera position alot...

Yeah, I would be, for sure.

@shadow5222 That is a fan image. The Darkest Hour was the working title for the last LOS game before they settled on Dawn of the Dragon.

@Spyroo No reason they can't have colorful skies with pretty clouds and stars and stuff in the new game, even if it is an LOS continuation.

Wow, it DOES look like the Celestial Moons...
