sandstorm narrowed her eyes. she let out a silent snarl. sapphire faced the other direction. ''hmm...i know that he's here. but he seems to be covering his scent.'' he hissed. ''keep looking sapph. keep looking.'' she urged him. ''GHOSTFALL!'' she yowled. ''GHOSTFAll!'' a set of purple eyes glared at sapphire. sapphire slowly approached them. ''are you...ghostfalll?'' he asked calmly. ''why does it matter to you?'' hissed a voice. ''because, i know sandstorm.'' suddenly, the eyes grew wide. a white figure lept down off the branch. so it is you! sapphire thought. ''sandstorm!'' he gasped. ''you know sandstorm?'' asked the white dragon. ''yes, and you must be ghostfall.'' ''you're quite clever kid. yes, i'm ghostfall.'' the dragon finally said, bowing his head. ''so, where is she? where's raven, and crow! i must see them! i want to tell them that i'm not dead!'' ''well C'mon!'' hissed sapphire, leading the way back towards the others. sandstorm sighed. ''i give up. we'll never find him.'' ''that's quiter talk!'' spat kolbolt. ''you think i would give up this easily?'' ''of course you wouldn't kolbolt! we know you!'' ''and apparently i'm pretty good too!'' he chuckled, placing a paw on his chest. sapphire burst through the bushes. ''sandstorm! sandstorm!'' he called to them. ''sapphire?!'' said sandstorm, giving him an amber glare. ''what is it?'' ''i-i...i got...ghostfall...he's..he's wa-with me...'' he panted. sandstorm looked up. ''ghostfall?'' she stalked up to him. ''sapphire,'' said garnet, ''look!'' she tilted her head towards a dark brown moutain covered in blood. ''its not far from here. but it also seems to be far away.'' ''and we still have many miles to go.'' he sighed, dipping his head. ''i know. this weather seems to give you this...dark feeling...cold...do you think your father is out there, right now. searching for you?'' she asked, nudging his side. ''i think so. i really want to meet him!'' ''and you will.'' she smiled. ''i remember that mountain.'' said terron. ''that was the very place where we fought darkuss...and the army.'' ''not to mention the battle between sapphiren, and darkuss.'' said aliyah. ''yes, i fought along side him.'' said saphira. ''i hate storms,'' said deanna. ''it always brings back horrible memories.'' ''i'm here.'' said ro'zan, wrapping his wing around her. ''our topaz...i hope she's alright too...''

xay dug his thorn-sharp fangs through the dragon's neck. he injected poison into it, watching his enemy suffer. ''i don't have time for this!'' he hissed, lashing his claws across a dragon's face. xaphir watched as xay fought even harder. ''oh, listiean! where are you?'' he muttered to himself while racking on top of a dragon's body. the mighty emerald dragon lept off the rock. he lunged at xay, but xay jumped out of the way as xaphir prepared to strike. xay snorted then sunk his fangs into the dragon's chest. xaphir yowled in pain as the poison slowly moved through his body. he callasped. ''i only injected a little poison in you. but be warn, if you ever get in my way again... there shall be no mercey for you and your clan, got it?!'' he spat at his paws. xaphir nodded slowly. xay growled then took off, leaving xaphir's numb body. water droplets hit sapphire's snout. he crossed his eyes. garnet chuckled. the dragons huddeled together inside a nearby cave. all was quiet. sapphire looked up at the gray sky, lost in his thoughts. then he was thinking of that one sapphire dragon in his dream with the black stripe running across his eye. my future grandson...but who does he belong to? he thought. ''ghostfall...'' whispered sandstorm, her amber eyes soft. ''yes?'' ''i'm so glad that we found you...if it weren't for sapphire, we wouldn't be together right now. and all these years...i thought you were dead!'' ''but i'm here now? aren't i?'' he whispered. she nodded. ''yes.'' deanna curled herself next to ro'zan. terron heavily slept on top of a rock. ''earth dragons.'' muttered aliyah to herself, her orange eyes focused on the sky. sapphire nodded. ''we need to find raven, crow, and topaz. it would be the right thing to do.'' ''GAH!'' fangclaw chuckled. the silver kai curled himself next to flame. ''lets get some sleep.'' he moaned, his eyes half shut. ''maybe the rain really isn't that bad.'' said garnet. ''C'mon sapph! lets go!'' sapphire released her from his grip then scampered towards her. the two dragons splashed water at eachother. sapphire pounced into a puddle. garnet wiped her face with her paw, then playfully snarled. he lowered his himself. garnet stuck tongue into a puddle. her cheeks were filled with water. ''C**P!'' yowled sapphire, quickly launching himself into the the air. ''you can run, but you can't hide sapphire dragon!'' sapphire spun in the air rappidly. the wind chilled his spine, as he picked up more speed. garnet spat the water at sapphire, but it quickly froze. garnet's jaw dropped. ''****!'' sapphire knocked her off balance. the two dragons tumbled together. ''got'cha!'' hissed sapphire, while pinning her down. ''oh but it is you who i got!'' sneered garnet, kicking sapphire off with her hind legs then quickly pinned him down. ''i'm hungry.'' mumbled cyclone. ''i-i gotta eat something, now!'' ''forget him! kill the gray one!'' in the corner of his eye, he noticed a slender yellow dragoness surrounded by greenheart's followers. ''i do trust you!'' smiled garnet, giving hima quick lick on the cheek then scampered over towards the clanmates. sapphire gritted his teeth then lunged into the air. kolbolt sunk his sabors into a dragon's neck. ''**** YOU!'' he snarled. greenheart lashed his tail at ro'zan. ''i fought against darkuss, i'm a proud follower of sapphiren!'' ''quit your boasting!'' laughed greenheart. He chuckled, snapping his jaws onto a dragons neck then tossing it. ''No, but this is my territory so get out!'' ''Not unless you free my daughter you ****ing scum!'' Greenheart lept onto Ro'zan's back. The gray dragon twisted his body around and bit the side of his throat. ''I-need-air!'' He gasped. Ro'zan tossed him onto the ground. ''Are..are you going to kill me?'' Greenheart whimpered. ''Release my daughter now!'' Sapphire stabbed Greenheart in the chest. ''You heard him!'' Sapphire turned to Ro'zan. ''Are you okay?'' He nodded. ''Good, now lets fight!'' Garnet lashed her claws at each dragon. ''Topaz!'' She yowled. "Where are you?'' ''I'm right here!'' Cried the yellow dragoness. ''Let me out first, then we'll fight!'' Garnet raced to the center of the rock. The red dragoness launched a eclipse bomb, which took out some of the dragons, leaving a massive crater. ''Thanks!'' Purred topaz. Sapphire found a loose rock in the ground. He pulled it out of the ground, then stabbed Greenheart with it. ''Lets get out of here!'' Said Swiftshadow. ''Agreed!'' Hissed Deanna. ''Hurry!'' The group quickly flew away from the mountain dragon's borders. Sapphire turned his head one last time. ''It appears that Darkuss isn't around right now.'' He sighed in relief. ''Yeah, i hope he doesn't come! I'll tear him to shreds!''

''alright you two!'' he coughed, covering his mouth with his paw. ''okay!'' topaz rose to her paws then scampered off. garnet continued to glare at the dragoness. ''she's going down. hard!'' she growled underneath of her breath. ''nonsence garnet!'' sapphire put in. ''she's friendly, and i'm sure you two will be quick friends!'' ''yeah, as if that'll ever happen!'' muttered garnet, lowering her head. raven, and crow stood beside their parents. ''hey sapph? you okay buddy?'' asked kolbolt, waving his striped paw over sapphire's face. sapphire shook his head. ''yeah?'' ''the others are waiting.'' ''oh, sorry about that...'' he whispered. sapphire scrambled towards the front. ''now we're heading to darkuss's old lair!'' he told them. ''we'll search for my father until we find him!'' garnet smiled. topaz only glared at her. ''eclipse dragons...'' ''topaz dragons...'' they both muttered, without letting eacother hear.

and so, sapphire continued his quest to search for the leader. he held his head high with pride, feeling his father's strenghth around him. cool winds whipped through his wings, his dark blue eyes shimmering in the light. ''you're quite clever today, sapphire.'' praised koratooth. ''a strong leader always stands for others, no matter what the cost.'' ''you...you really think...?'' he stammered, trying to force the words out. he nodded. ''like the way how you removed the sharp rock outa the ground as if it were nothing!'' kolbolt interupted, raising his voice. ''that was just classic!'' ''ah yes, i remember when sapphiren defeated that bear, along with us. its no wonder why he's related to shirox!'' said pravious, his muscles rippling. sapphire gasped. he smiled at the old comrades who fought beside his father. ''wait! what about that loner who helped?'' ''yes! him!'' sandstorm murmured to ro'zan. ''his name was burkat. lets go find him. are you up for it sapph?'' asked aliyah, her eyes glimmering with excitment. sapphire nodded. ''why not? i can't wait to find more of my father's old comrades!'' he yowled, leaping into the air with joy. ''heh, just like the old days.'' chuckled blood. ''yup.'' said both ice, and sphira. ''but we still have a long way.'' swiftshadow put in. he turned to sapphire. ''are you sure?'' sapphire nodded once more. ''lets go! we're burning sunlight!'' ''YES!'' yowled everyone. ''its safe to fly now, lets go!'' sapphire turned his back then extended his wings. the others followed, willingly following the young dragon. sapphire had high hopes on meeting his father, yet, there is still a long way ahead of him.

''sapphiren, during the war had fallen in love with hypna, but two other dragonesses fell for him as well. and of course those are deanna, and saphira. later on they realized that hypna had already liked him...deanna didn't really like her at that time of course, but they manage to get along.'' ''your point?'' ''that you two shouldn't end up fighting over him. sapphire loves you, and that's all that matters.'' ''yeah, he's a really sweet guy. he's so caring, and respects elders, and others...and he's cute too! oops. did i just say that?'' aliyah nodded. her pale blue scales shimmered. ''try talking to topaz first. then you'll see what happens.'' she said softly, nudging her with her slender snout. ''fine.'' garnet muttered to herself. ''hey topaz!'' ''oh, its you eclipse dragon. what is it?'' she growled. ''i was wondering if we could start over...and-'' ''nice try!'' snapped topaz. ''you're only saying that because you know that sapphire loves me!'' ''what?! NO-i....what did you just say?'' garnet hissed in an icey tone, narrowing her red eyes. topaz's yellow eyes sparkled with pure jealousy. ''sapphire, loves me. got it?'' ''you don't want to piss me off topaz dragon!'' she warned her, clawing the ground. ''bring it! eclipse dragon!'' ''THAT'S ENOUGH!'' sapphire yowled, breaking the fight. ''i want to be able to meet my father in peace! and if you two are continuing to act like this i'll never forgive you!'' garnet's eyes widen. ''i'm sorry, sapphire!'' ''me too!'' ''good.'' sapphire snorted.

''C'mon!'' yowled koratooth. garnet snorted then walked on. xay sniffed the air. ''i'm always a step behind!'' he grunted. ''typical...'' hypna gazed at the morning sky. ''ancestors...please help us find our sun...'' sapphire flew at the entrance at the cave. old chains hng from walls, and a large stone where darkuss once sat now flat from chilling winds. ''so this is where they thought...'' he whispered. ''yeah...'' aliyah gasped. she trotted over towards the tunnel that led to a dark pool. ''this is where i corrupted myself...'' then she cranned her head over to where she escaped. ''am i...am i still tempted now...? to still join my father, darkuss...?'' aliyah said slowly, with tears rolloing down her cheeks. sapphire saw her in the corner of his eye. he scampered down the tunnel till he was next to her. ''i...i...'' she stammered dipping her head. ''what's wrong?'' he asked gently, nudging her side. ''its...its...ha-hard ta-to...explain...'' ''i've never seen you so upset, aunt aliyah...'' sapphire pointed out, eyes clouded with worry. ''oh...lets go...just don't touch it....'' the pale blue dragoness snarled, leaving the room. what does she mean by 'don't touch it'? has something happened to her in the past that caused her to act like this? he thought. hmm...well maybe i should test it out... sapphire dipped his tailblade into the pool. once he pulled it out, it was no longer white. but grey! so was his tail. dark blue. sapphire gasped. ''its darkness!'' then he remembered. i fought off my dark side before...i can do it again! he closed his eyes. topaz let out a faint hiss. ''you wont have him!''

''eviler?'' deanna narrowed her eyes in annoyence. ''what? i'm just saying!'' topaz tried to pull garnet off with her jaws, but she clamped on much harder. ''you're not much of a fighter, are you?'' she sneered, snapping her jaws onto her neck. ''crazy ****!'' hissed the yellow dragoness as she flipped her self over. garnet launched eclipse bombs at topaz. topaz fell to the floor. she pressed her paw on top of her snout. ''admit it, topaz. i-own-you.'' topaz let out a scornful hiss. ''guys, what're you doing?'' asked sapphire, as he stood before them. ''we're just playing.'' lied topaz. ''yeah!'' said garnet. just playing... she muttered to herself. ''then why do i see blood?'' sapphire narrowed his eyes to see that topaz got wounded. ''we always play-fight like this!'' ''mmm hmm...'' sapphire nodded slowly. ''well, in that case...I'M JOINING TOO!'' he yowled as he tackled garnet. ''hey! i saw him first!''
