After Shade used his magic on me, I was able to get up again. "At least you guys have some inkling of the abilities you have. I'm just cute, that's my power." I said with a smile.

I chuckle "I don't think so. I think you have power you just don't know it yet."

Looking up at the sky, it was getting pretty dark, we would need to find shelter, and protect ourselves. Come to think of it, we might actually have to sleep in shifts, another user or users would have to go and collect food, the fire could be taken care by Skyhunter, or even me...Nah, I don't trust myself enough to use my 'demon' abilities yet to get a heat source. I don't want to burn down the entire woods.
"I just realized something..." I added, "Tonight we might have to sleep in shifts in case someone or something attacks..." I pointed out, "I can take a shift if you like." I then added.

I smile and say "that's very kind of you but i'll be taking all of the shifts."

I looked up at the gigantic dragon who was allied with us, "You sure?" I asked, "I can handle some pretty tough stuff, and Rin cant be possessed." I added. "In that case I'll help out, you need sleep too. I'm a early riser so I'll take a early shift." I said. I really wanted an excuse to try and battle a bit with my sword too if needed. I was eager to see what power it held, I knew the capabilities but I wanted to see them for myself.

"I can handle some shifts if need be.," Darin/Red screeched wanting to be useful. He wouldn't be much of a conversationalist to his fellow avatar-turned friends, but he could least help defend them.

I blinked, and stopped for a moment, looking back at Darin. "Woah.." I said, shocked, "I-I can understand you, unless you just started speaking English.." I added, nonetheless shocked. Then again I shouldn't be. When any other 'not your average animal' spoke in the anime, Demons could understand them, and well, Rin is half demon after all. Not to mention the son of a very very powerful demon..

"Same here," I pitched in, wanting to offer something. "It's no trouble, I don't need much sleep to stay active." I knew I already had a responsibility tending to the fire, but I wasn't so confident that I'd be able to manage it. I mean, I just earned the fire element like, a minute ago, and I haven't had any time to really get it nailed down. On the plus side, my flames wouldn't be anything my fellow users couldn't handle. There wasn't anything supernatural about it, it's just regular old fire. The other reason I wanted to take a night shift was because of Foxtail's nature as a nocturnal species. He'd be perfect for the job! And while I was at it, I could help to dig out burrows for them to take shelter in and-

Okay, I'm getting ahead of myself. I shouldn't push myself to do so much. If I keep this up, I may end up making a Mary Sue of myself!

I laugh lightly "no, no, please I'm afraid you don't understand. you see my oc Durza is nocturnal, so much so that it is extremely rare to find him awake during the day. It's a merical that I've been able to stay awake for this long really. now that it's getting close to night fall it's becoming easier for me to stay awake. besides, you have nothing to worry about with the ultimate dragon on duty."

"Well, I know I wouldn't be much help. If I knew this would have happened, I would have choosen a better avatar" I said as I sat down next to Evan

"Hey, don't be like that" I said, putting an arm around Austin. "I'm sure there's something you're good at."

"Every person... err avatar has their strengths-- even if they can't see it yet.," Darin/Red screeched.

I nod "Darin is right. heck my oc Durza has a fatal weakness. out of all of his power, from being able to wheld all of the elements at will to being able to use powers and fighting techniqes tought to me by Goku and his friends, my life can end in an instant. all by just striking my weak point. My life line."

I looked at the goat monster user. "Don't give up on that yet, I'm pretty sure you might be able to learn how to control fire like Toriel and Asgore, maybe." I said, "I don't know what age goat monsters can..uh...Firebend?" I added, trying to help out.

"Thanks guys" I said with a smile "You guys are great"

I smile "I'm always happy to help a friend."

"Anytime.," Darin/Red screeched. He would do anything for his friends-- as would the avatar he was portraying. Darin was, after all, his "main" OC.

I leaned on Foxtail. "I'm sleepy" I said with a cute yawn

With a little grin, I patted Austin on the head. "Hang in there, pal. Once we get a fire going, we can all get some rest." But the question was: would I be able to start a fire on my own? I didn't really know how I had managed to get my fire element to work, it just sort of... did. Oh well. Even if I couldn't light a fire, it's not like nobody else could.

"Right, so," I spoke to the group, getting up. "We should look for some firewood. Can't have a fire without wood, am I right?" While that was true, it was partially an excuse to get the attention off of me while I figured out how to work my new ability.

I smile "ok. since we don't know how your powers work I'll light the fire, if I'm able to use sacred fire I can use regular fire." I stated matter of factly. (Durza can use all of the elements so it will only be a matter of time until I figure out how to use the basics of each element).

[Uh, hello? Where is everyone?]

Glancing around I looked back at the user whom had mentioned getting fire wood. "Yeah, that is a good idea..." I added, "we should assign different groups to get different resources anyways." I then added, "We'll be needing more than just fire wood. We'll need to build a shelter, get food and water..." I said, and glanced around the group, not sure who would be best suited for what job.

"I can help dig out the shelter... or try my hand at hunting.," Darin/Red screeched. Both were things a gryphon would be very adept at-- assuming the user could master it.

I smile at Red's enthusiasm "ok Red I think you can start with the shelter. I would use my earth element to do it bi don't want to accidentally cause an earthquake."

"I could help with firewood." I said as I got up. Even if I could carry much, I would at least help.

I sat Eye down "no. you need to rest. you're still not fully recovered yet."

"If you think you're up for it" I said to Austin, thinking of what I could do to contribute. Foxtail has many talents; even without the earth element, he could dig pretty well. He was on the smaller side, but still a half-decent hunter. Plus, I have a gun! Great for killing things! Then again, just because Foxtail could do those things, it doesn't I'll be able to...

"But I don't want to fell useless" I said to Shade

I looked down at Eyebrawler, "If you want I can go with you." I said with a smile, "I've gotta find something to do myself too."

I sigh "fine but you need to take it easy. that leg isn't fully healed yet. doctors orders."

"Be careful EyeBrawler. And Prex... keep an eye on each other. We don't know what's out there.," Darin/Red screeched. He then looked at Skyhunter and thought between the user-turned-fox's options. "With both me and you digging, we should get a good head start on the shelter. I'm sure Durza..err Shade could find us something to eat as well as defend himself if need be.," he then said.

"Ok Shade" I said as I gently limped to Prex. "I'm sure you'll keep me from straining myself"

"Shiacugon!" I scan the area and found what seemed to be a few things to eat and went to collect them.

I nodded, "I'll make sure everyone's safe." I said with a smile, before looking at my little monster goat friend again. "Yep, We should get some sort of stick you could use as a crutch so you don't have to put so much weight on your leg." I added as we began to go and search for fire wood.

"Well, let's get to it then" I replied to the griffin. With my head held low to the ground, I started sniffing, pawing at the earth, trying to find some loose dirt. I eventually found a good spot at the base of a tree, and extending my digging claws, began kicking up soil, excavating a hole beneath the tree's roots.

I smiled as I limped to follow Prex. "I hope we do, that way I can at least follow you easier" I said with a smile, even though my leg hurt now and then

Darin/Red nodded and proceeded to dig alongside the fox, trusting Sky's instincts.

2 or 3 hours later I come back with a few deer in one paw and a bush of berries in the other.

ooc: well he actually is very difficult to control thanks to his alter ego Corruptor(also the reason why he can't be corrupted, couse he already is) so he is forced to keep 20% of his full power in reserve in order to keep him in check which is difficult to do even if it's like second nature type of thing. think of being possessed by jiminy crickets murderous evil twin brother. not only that but even with all of this power it is difficult to control it so it would make one very reluctant to use any of them even if it's only for practice.

And I was thinking, could you make your character smaller and less powerful? Everyone needs challenges and your character just seems to powerful for the environment.))

After a little while of searching I found a branch that might work perfect for Eyebrawler, I broke it off the tree. "Try this one," I said to him with a smile, and handed it to him, helping if needed.

((That's still really powerful >.<))

I tried the branch and smiled. "This should be fine. Thank you Prex." I said

ooc: also being to big for the enviroment can be a challange on its own.

Meanwhile-- Darin/Red dug out the shelter alongside the fox-turned-user being careful not to make it collapse and ensuring that it would be big enough for at least someone of his own size. Durza/Shade was a different story-- but he would do what he could.

As Redwes and I hollowed out a shelter, I took care to save any stones I came across. We could use them to construct a simple fire pit so our campfire would be contained. I was getting outdone by Darin, which was no surprise, given that he's more than three times my size, but I still kept up, fabricating the den with some makeshift dead-leaf beds.

I smiled, "No problem pal." I said with a smile, "Now then, fire wood." I said, "You should try and get some dry moss that we can use as fire starter, I'll get the wood to keep it going." I added, since I've been camping a ton of times before, I knew what would keep a good fire going.

"Ok" I said before going up to a mossy tree. I used my paws to scrape some off carefully. Knowing about my current character's past, I knew that the tree was still a being.
