"Anyone seen Rose, Marigold, Gambol, Orion, Obsidian, Asher, Festus, Frostbite, Midnight, Siggera, Hothesia, Meganaka, or Baron? They'll be late if they don't show up, and I may seem like hands-on and spontaneous, which I am, but I do like punctuality or whatever you call it."

"whatever the case may be, I don't want a few slackers to interfere with my education." was all Shade said.

Infurno stared at Shade as he spoke. He really had the urge to blast him to the ground, but hid the weird desire. He still hadn't forgotten the insult from earlier, and really wanted to put the damned guy in his place... Lying on the ground where he belonged.

Gamic looked over and saw Infurno's look. His face held an amused look as he resisted the urge to laugh, adding to the already known fact that Gamic can't take ANYTHING seriously.

Shade looked at Infurno and said "look if you have a problem with me fine that's your issue, but if you're so eager to fight me then save it for later when we're outside. last thing I want to do is trash my teachers class room on the first day. also just a heads up fire attribute attacks will have no effect on me what so ever." he then resumed reading his book while he waited for class to start

"Heh, so you say... But, it seems you aren't as observant as you let on. It may come as a shock to you, but I have plenty of self control. I was never going to start a petty little fight in here," he replied dis distastefully.

Shade sighed "I never said you didn't have any self control. but I can tell your eager to fight me but I wont fight now since we are in class." not once looking up from his book.

Lea sighed. "Do you want my opinion? If so, I think that we should all just be quiet and calm down so we can ACTUALLY GET ON WITH THIS CLASS."

"Wait!" Midnight called from outside the door. "We got lost, and I still don't know where Frostbite is. We split up, and I can't find him anywhere. Will he get in trouble?"

"You're still very young dragons," Ruby said. "And you're new here. You know where it is, and once Frostbite arrived he will know where it is as well. I'll let you go, on the assumption that you will know where this class is and when it starts. Which is now."

Infurno boredly dooodled in a notebook waiting for the first instructions from Ruby

Shade closed his book listened intently to Ruby.

"I agree with Lea." Marat said glaring at Shade. "You seem to like to instigate..."

Shade ignored them and awaited instruction.

Gamic chuckled at the exchange, "my, my. this school won't just be intellectual, but entertaining."

Shade continued to ignore them and awaited instruction.

"Well, all this talk has been nice, but are we ready to begin class?" Valkyrie asked impatiently.

Gambol and the two sisters and had sit down nearby.

Gamic chuckled, "aye, let's save it for later."

"Alright. Class has started." Ruby sat down. "Take a seat, and I'll explain about the Ruby class and the Dragon History."

"First, to start off, History. This year, we will cover how the Dragon Academy started. If we have time after that, we will explore the legends of ancient dragons. You may be wondering when we do Battle Planning. I'd prefer to get to know everyone first. Some of you may have had to repeat this class due to the unexpected shutting down of the school. It should be mostly safe now. At the end of the year, we will have a history competition, where you will have a chance to win a Ruby Armband." She showed the class a silver armband with a massive ruby in the center. "Next, I'll explain about the ruby class. Ruby dragons are fierce and fiercely loyal. Few can stop them once they start on a path. They tend to have short fuses, but they do have a sense of control. Don't hide from them just because of what they can do, because they can be loyal friends and allies." Oh, darn it. What am I supposed to do now? What happened to my major speech?

Shade frowned, man! I really wish I was in Ruby class. it sounds just like me.

Marat raised his paw into the air, wanting to ask a question.
