OOC: it doesn't change the story, so it's no big deal. Let's just continue.

"Any leads yet?" Starflash asked, looking around the base of the volcano to see if the creature had left something behind.

"I don't really see anything the creature might have left behind." Chimera replied.

"What I'm curious about is where those smaller creatures went, it's relatively empty out here." Blarna replied.

"Hey, Gregora, where are you?" Chimera called out, and waited for an answer.

(Well, that wasn't very expected, Gale, Polara, and shadowstarcat's oc's were about to talk to Shade. Now I'm going to have refigure that part out, i'll get back to this once I do.)

OOC: Sorry about that Spyroconvexity. We got carried away.

"Can't we go deeper into the volcano?" Starflash asked, wanting to help Gregora and the recently dunked Shade. Her body couldn't tolerate that heat just yet, but she was starting to think that if she was exposed slowly, her body would get use to it.

(and that's what im about to do.)

Polara looked at Gale and their companions, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

OOC: I dont even remember posting that haha. it was a very, very long night

Gregora steadied his fall to a quick glide, scanning for any signs of the creature. He had started to weigh the battle in his mind, and thought of the possibility of one of the other dragons getting hurt. That pulled fear back into his thoughts, seeing the many scenarios play out in his head. His glide slowed even further, no longer flying towards the volcano, but winging above it. He quickly glanced back to see if the others were in sight, hoping to delay them enough to concoct a safer plan.

Occ: Is anyone going to reply to Inferno?

OOC: Where is your character now?

Occ: At the cave where everyone else was at.

Chimera gulped hearing the haunting voice, "Anyone else hear that, it sounds like someone has something to hide.

Blarna felt a twinge in her gut; she felt like she was missing something, but she couldn't put a talon on it.

"I heard something alright, but I couldn't make up the words." Starflash commented, looking below the volcano.
"Do you think we should check on them?" she asked, imagining that Chimera wasn't going to let her go there by herself.

"Sure, that voice sounds like it means business, we'll be fine in a big group." Chimera replied.

Gale and Polara were on their tail, but they waited a second to make sure Shadow and Kumara were with them.

Just what Starflash wanted. Exploring the inside of the volcano, she was sure that extra heat was what her body needed to get use to it and intensify it.

Shadow stopped beside them with Kumara shortly behind.
"Who's that?" Shadow asked pointing to black dragon not to far away.

Chimera heard Shadow and turned around, "Hi, i'm Chimera, and these are my friends, Blarna and Starflash."

"I'm Polara and this my twin brother Gale." Polara spoke up.

Blarna wilfed in fear, "Well, isn't that lovely, sounds like we're not welcome."

(For those who don't know, to wilf, is a term from the Guardians of Gahoole books, and it means that their feathers flatten against the body when they get afraid, meaning they seem smaller and can hide in places.)

Starflash heard what the voice said. She didn't tremble when she heard fire. She was kinda fire too. But death?
"Alright! Enough mystery! Who just spoke? And why do you say death? Nobody kills out of nowhere." she said, showing her naivety. How come somebody say they were death? Was that a prank, or somebody in a bad mood?

((I loved that movie! ))

Shadow looked around, trying to pinpoint the voices location.
"Well, my name is Kumara and this is..." Before she could continue, Shadow interrupted.
"It's Shadow, now that introductions are over, let's start doing something productive!" He said before channelling his energy into his bracers, making the blades inside swing out.

(Yeah, the owls are awesome; I've even adopted some of their terminology, as seen above.)

Chimera turned to Shadow, "I don't know about you, but if that voice controls that monster, it might not be wise to make it angry."

"That doesn't sound good" Inferno said as he went to investigate.

Occ: I'm just going to say that Dusk followed Shade


Dusk jump at the voice, his Chaotic Eyes locating the life force of the creature, he hid behind Shade.

Blarna instinctively shot out a stream of ice, though it was her first time doing so, at the creature, and Chimera, Gale, and Polara joined in with their own elements.

Dusk saw the fire, his Chaotic eyes started to glow even brighter, the look within them was like a demon's eyes right before it would steal someone's soul. Dusk open his hand as seven little crystals appeared and floated around the group forming a bubble of light around them protecting them from the fire. "Lunar Blessing" Dusk said as the light protected them from the flames.

If it wasn't for Blarna's ice, Starflash would have become very injured, or maybe even killed. That fire had more heat that she could tolerate, and she could feel it even with the ice involved.
"What do you want!? Why do you hate us?" Starflash innocently asked, getting very scared. She has always been more of a talker than a fighter. Why did that creature wanted them eliminated?

"Don't you see it?" Dusk asked, "We aren't alone, There is something deeper into this cave" Dusk said.

Chimera's feathers returned as she prepared a powerfull spell; it would be an exhausting shrinking spell. As soon as she could, she unleashed the spell in a blast of shadow energy at the creature.

But before the blue flame or Chimera's spell could land, Starflash hid behind a crevice within the very same volcano. It was very tight, even for someone as small as her, but she could maneuver inside it. She then wondered if the creature could be reasoned with. Darkness and destruction? That was sch a dumb obsession, and she knew, cause one of her cousins was sadistic and hungry for destruction.

"The energy there is someone or something inside this cave!" Dusk said as the fear and panic rise in his voice.

Chimera started to falter as the cost of her spell took effect, and she landed near Starflash's crevice.

Shadow and Kumara combined their dark and lightning energies to create a dark storm attack. The storm hovered above the creatures head.
"Nothing is working!" Shadow growled and combined his dark energy and tail swipe to launch a dark fireball at its face.

Starflash heard many stories about beings with a love for destruction and darkness, but she never expected to be faced off against that situation in her lifetime. Her cousin was the closest thing she has seen to such thing, but he wasn't dangerous, just a major bully.

"Oh great, the voice isn't the puppet master, what fun." Blarna grumbled sarcastically and dove down into the deep of the volcano. Chimera and the twins followed, and the whole way, Chimera felt like something was wrong with Blarna.

As usual, Starflash decided to follow Chimera. She thought that the fire creatures were simply invading, but now she learned that it was much more than that.

Dusk continue to follow him, "I wish my Dad was here" he mumble to himself. His father would know what to do against the elemental attacks that plague Shade's city.

Gregora watched as the whole ordeal transpired, not knowing what to do. Earth spells? No, too much rubble, it could injure the others. Electricity? It didn't seem to work on the creature. Dark and light were a far shot for him, as he was still a novice at some of the very powerful spells. Creating quantum flux's with so many around was even more dangerous, since he couldn't finely control the direction of attack at full power. Not to mention he would be vulnerable to attack, usually passing out from going full power. As the creature fled into the volcano, he felt horrible, as though he had betrayed the others.

Kumara and Shadow turned to Polara and Gale.
"Should we follow?" Kumara asked them.

"W ... well that depends on whether or not we want to continue fighting inside this volcano." Gale replied.

"That means yes." Polara said afterwards.

Dusk continue to follows Shade deeper into the cave, seeing through the dark perfectly fine because of his Chaotic eyes.

Chimera dived down with them; shakily at first with exhaustion from the spell, and Blarna followed, close on her tail.

Starflash remained quiet after all ordeal. She was both nervous and upset. Why would anyone want darkness and destruction when peace was so much better? Her innocent mind couldn't comprehend it.
