"I was expecting him to fail" Ki said back to Maria

"Maria, calm down, Ki's mind likes to wonder" Makil said

"And there! It's finished!" Austin said excitedly "Now Pyre, the robot won't change anything about you, it's just a way to anchor you to this world while I come up with something more permanent" He said before going for a hug, he stopped himself though because Pyre was intangible still and he would have hit his head off the floor if he fell

I sighed. "Okay."

Pyre eagerly possessed her robotic vessel, and it revved to life as she lined everything up perfectly. After testing her mobility in her new body and looking herself over, she decided she was satisfied; heck, even if Austin couldn't find something else, she'd be fine with it.

"I love it!" she squealed with joy, and now more solid, gave Austin the hug he deserved.

"Yeah, that's really sweet..." Sangris interjected. "Now when do we actually do something?"

Austin hugged back "I knew you would" He said before kissing Pyre "I love you"

"Austin, I'll sleep on the couch tonight so you and Pyre can have the bedroom to yourselves" Ki said before looking at Sangris "We'll do what we have to tomorrow"

By this time, the other two foxes showed up back at Austin's place. Foxtail went straight for Rosa, while Lotus went to greet Austin. "Say, Rosa, I was thinking that maybe I could sleep with you tonight. I think it was your power that helped with my nightmare last time, so maybe I might be able to help with yours?"

Lotus walked in on Austin and Pyre hugging. "Wow, I didn't know you liked Pyre that much, you built a robotic version of her."

"Hey Lotus, this isn't a robot version of her, it is her" Austin said "Lotus, meet the new, nicer Pyre, she doesn't even have her accent anymore"

Ki looked at Lotus "He's telling the truth, she's on our side now" He smiled

"That's right" Pyre said, smiling and extending her metallic paw to Lotus. "No hard feelings?"

What!? Is he nuts!? Lotus thought, looking at him in disbelief. She couldn't believe he just ignored her warning, especially after seeing what she was capable of. Well, I guess he has been right most other times... maybe the crazy guy actually did it? Lotus looked at Pyre suspiciously for a minute before eventually shaking her paw- and then playfully slapped her on the back of the head. "No hard feelings, ya knucklehead" she said with a friendly smirk.

Pyre rubbed the back of her head. "I guess I deserved that, heh heh."

"Great! We've got a big day tomorrow, so we should get some sleep" Austin said as he looked at Pyre "Come on Pyre, I show you the way to our room"

Ki smiled as he walked over to Lotus "Looks like I'm on the couch until I get a bed for myself" He laughed "He really did change her Lotus, his light powers are unbelievable sometimes"

Our room? Heh, I like the sound of that. "Well, let's get to it then" she said giggling. Old habits die hard, I guess.

Austin pulled Pyre up to their room "Here we are, come on honey, let's get in bed" He smiled "I love you Pyre, and I promise I'll find a way for you to be permanently linked to this world" He said before getting in bed

((Pyre is nice now, just about everybody is at Austin and Ki's house, and Austin and Pyre are about to lay down in their bed, Foxtail is going to sleep with Rosa to help her nightmare, I might have forgotten something))

As Rose drifted to sleep she murmured a thanks to Foxtail, allowing the nightmare to take place once more but this time she felt for Foxtail soul.

"Where is my bed?" I asked.

"I don't know Maria, we only have the one bed" Ki said

"As long as I get to stay with you, I'll take anything you can come up with" Pyre said, sliding under the covers. She yawned, looking at him with sleepy eyes and smiled. "I can't thank you enough for what you've done, but here's a little something anyway." She gave Austin a long kiss before drifting off to sleep. "Good night, honey."

Foxtail cuddled up against Rosa as she slept, hopefully providing some comfort for her.

"Good night" Austin said as he hugged Pyre and fell asleep

"Lotus, do you think you can help me with my nightmare" Ki asked his fellow fox

"Sure, I'll see what I can do" Lotus said to her newly-discovered half-brother.

"Great sis, we'll share the couch then, I mean unless you want to sleep somewhere else" Ki said

"The couch is fine, bro" Lotus said as she stretched out on the sofa.

Okay, Rosa, I'll see if I can find my way into your dream like I did with Lotus Foxtail mentally reassured his elven companion.

[I have a nightmare planned for Pyre later on.]

"Ok, as long as your happy" Ki said as he laid on the couch next to Lotus

Austin was in a dark room with a shadowy figure "Oh no, I thought they stopped trying" He said as he stood up and tried to use his fire powers to burn the nightmare, but his powers weren't working "What the" He said before being knocked into the wall by the figure, which revealed itself to be a nightmarish Pyre "You thought you could change me" The figure said as it got closer and bared it's claws "Time to die" The figure said "Pyre! No! Don't do this!" Austin said frantically before waking up screaming "Oh thank god, it was only a dream" He said as he calmed down, he looked at Pyre, smiled, and went back to sleep

[Wow, that is almost exactly what I had planned for Pyre. Time for Plan B!]

In the midst of a misty cemetary, Pyre found herself back in her physical form, without Austin or her robotic shell anywhere to be seen. It just seemed like a typical, run-of-the-mill graveyard, nothing unusual, but one particular grave stood out amongst the countless others, beckoning to her through the thick ominous fog. She observed it, only to discover that the headstone read: R.I.P. Lotus Wild, much to her shock, and the graves of even more of her newfound allies became evident to her: Kigali, Rosa, Sangris, Maria, and the rest. Oh my god! Who could have done this!? She kept staring at the tombstones in horror until she saw a brief movement in her peripheral vision. "H-hello? Is somebody there?" Indeed, she was not alone, and soon enough she came face-to-face with...

Name: Boo
Gender: Male
Appearance: The spirit of Foxtail's younger brother, Boo has ghostly white fur even messier than Foxtail's and tired-looking gray eyes. His ears are always folded down into a droop, and he constantly shrouded in a pale blue aura.
Personality: Previously shy and elusive, the Exmortis's influence has reduced his mindset to that of a feral, wild animal and turned him quite violent.
Powers: Typical ghost powers; invisibility, flight, intangibility, etc. Can also raise and command the undead.
Weapon: A shovel
Alignment: Evil
Other?: For those who are curious, Boo died by being skinned alive.

The snarling phantom growled viciously at Pyre as she slowly backed away, not even thinking to use her powers. "Leave me alone! Go away!" she begged as the ghost advanced on her, eventually lunging and mauling her into little more than a bloodied pulp.

Pyre flinched as she woke with a gasp; being a nightmare herself, she reacted more calmly to the terror she had just witnessed. She had risen just in time to see Austin lay his head back down. I shouldn't bother him now, he's been up late enough as it is. So she decided to wait until morning to bring it up, and in the meantime, cuddled up with Austin and fell back into her slumber.

Ki fell asleep, he was in a dark hallway, he walked around a little, expecting the monstrous version of himself to appear, but instead, he entered a room that had a wrestling ring in the middle, and standing in it was Ki's dad, Davori "Dad? What do you want from me" Ki asked "Just come into the ring son" Davori said as he held the ropes open, Ki reluctantly entered "Son, give me a hug" Davori said "Why" Ki asked "I can't hug my son" Davori said sarcastically "True" Ki said before hugging his dad "Ki, I want you to know, you're a great person, I don't want to hurt you, but if you don't join us, I will have to" Davori said "Now, we'll leave you alone for the next week, then we'll meet here and you'll tell me your decision" Davori said before warping Ki to a good dream

Rose tossed and turned in her sleep but in her dream she was at a stand still she couldn't reach her destination to get to her uncle but the sounds of the beast destroying him never ceased. Rose didn't know if it was a curse to hear the sounds through out her whole nightmare or if it was a blessing to not happen upon the sight. Rose with tears in her eyes both in dream and sleep wished to find her uncle to save him or at least try but also never to come face to face with the giant wolf monster. Through her dream she whimpered and cried but nothing more as she ran towards the noise during her entire dream never faltering to feel Foxtail's spirit.

[All that really happened was that I introduced a new character.]

Is this Rosa's dream? the young fox wondered as he arrived in the series of hallways. The familiar spiritual sensation answered Foxtail's question as the sound of the savage wolf lacerating his friend's uncle attacked his senses. Rosa, I made it in he telekinetically reported to her. I don't know where you are, but I'm gonna look around, see if I can find your uncle and save him. Or meet up with you, whichever happens first. And with that, he sprinted down the endless corridors.

I swish my tail about, watching on at the series of events and simply observe. After everyone goes in I head outside, taking in the cool air as not to fall asleep.

Foxtail, you're here? Rose whipped around to feel for him. I'm not sure I want to find him though. I mean I can never save him anyway so why would this be different. She called out running towards the mauling noise of the wolf beast again.

Because you've got me was all Foxtail called out with a hint of overconfidence before quickening his pace.

Ki woke up after the a little bit "Lotus, wake up sis" He said as he nudged his sister

"nnng... wha...?" Lotus muttered as she slowly opened her eyes to her brother. "What is it?"

"My nightmare was different this time, my dad told me that he didn't want to hurt me, but if I don't join Exmortis, he will, I have a week to make my decision" Ki said before hugging his sister "What am I going to do sis" He said as he started to cry

Lotus looked at her brother with an expression of unease, holding his hands in her paws. She never was good with giving advice; the last time she tried it ended with all the fur on her boyfriend's tail getting singed off. So she anxiously danced around the subject. "Well, you have a different dad from me, how powerful is he?"

"He is very powerful, he's taken down armies by just glaring at them, he could kill us all in one move" Ki said "I don't want to join them"

[Let's see, Pyre switched sides, Kigali had a nightmare of his father urging him to join the Exmortis, I introduced Boo Zerda, the ghost of Foxtail's brother, Foxtail is trying to help Rosa conquer her nightmare, and we have plans to enter the dream world with Austin's teleporter to sort things out there.]

"Issat it? Well, I don't think he'll be much of a match for us, we've got plenty of kickass allies here." Lotus was confident in her friends, but a trace of worry remained in her voice. "Heck, Foxtail alone's punched out more demons than I can count, including the so-called god of destruction... twice! But if this Exmortis could bring Pyre out in me..." she sighed. "...then God help us if they get to Foxtail."

She looked into her brother's eyes with encouragement. "But still, I'm not going to tell you what to do. It's up to you to decide who you should join."

Ki smiled "Thanks sis" He said before hugging Lotus "Now, what would happen if they get to Foxtail" He asked with a little worry

Lotus was silent for a moment before replying. "Before I tell you, are there any other Minecraftian races you don't like?"

"No, I'm just not a fan of ender creatures, one stole a locket from me when I was 6" Ki explained to his sister "Why do you ask"

"In one of his earliest adventures, Foxtail got possessed by the Wither, king of the Nether, becoming Withertail, a dark, sinister form of himself that caused anything around him to wither and rot away. Even after the Wither left his body, Foxtail still had traces of his power, and could turn into Withertail whenever he wanted, but he could barely control himself when he did. Later on, he went through some training to make it so it did the opposite, which is how he got the bio-powers he has today." Lotus paused to catch her breath. "But I've seen him, he still turns back into Withertail in the presence of certain dark powers..."

[Aaaand Sky doesn't know how to end a post!]

Ki hugged her sister after hearing about Foxtail's past "It's ok sis, I'll make sure that will never happen" He said as he held Lotus

Lotus gave a trusting smile. "Thanks, bro."

"Come on, let's go back to bed, if you want, you can curl up next to me" Ki said as he laid back down

Austin woke up randomly and petted Pyre's head "You're so beautiful, I hope you feel the same about me" He said

Lotus took Ki up on his offer and did just that.

Pyre, eyes still closed, gave Austin her answer. "Yes, I think you are very handsome, honey. That's not the only reason I love you though." And with that, she gave him another kiss.

"Good night sis" Ki said as he drifted to sleep, dreaming about running in a field with Lotus

Austin returned the kiss "You do love me, why" He asked

"You saved me from the dream world, that alone gets you like, twenty brownie points" Pyre told Austin. "You like me for who I am, and not just for my figure, and you helped bring out who I really am inside. For this, you're the first guy I've ever really felt true love for." Pyre hugged Austin. "Do you think we're destined for each other?"

"I do Pyre, I've thought that from the first time I saw you, I promise, after we defeat the Exmortis and save the world, you and I will get married, I mean if you want of course" Austin said as he hugged Pyre back while blushing wildly
