"i can only do one at a time.....i shall bring Quietfire back...." he said. then Equinox brought Quietfire back. he appeared next to him. he looked at him.
"thank you!" he said.
"your very welcome" he replied. then Quietfire left to find Star and Fireflight.

Starfire got a dark aura like Fireflight.

frostbolt nooded as to say "thanks" and left with quitefire. "i know were she is.. but.... i.. i.. think shes in trouble" he stared running. frostfire looked at quitefire.

Quietfire looked at them.
"just take me to them!" he said. he followed them.

Fireflight and Star got darker.

Nightfire waited.

Fireflight and Starfire both turned solid black, and thier eyes were dark blue. they stopped hugging, and looked at each other.
"Mom! your dark!" said Star.
"you are too!" she replied. they looked at Nightfire.

'What?'

(computer problems again...)

"what did you do?" asked Fireflight. Starfire looked at her.
"Mom!" she said. Fireflight looked at her.
"what?"
"how could you say that?! we don't know if he did anything!"
"well....he did--"
"stop!" Star interupted. "i won't hear another word of it! i already know wha happened!"
"but Star--"
"no! i don't want to hear it!" she said. then Starfire walked out of the room.

(Sister and mum problems around here)

Nightfire looked at Fireflight.
'What?'

Firelfight looked at him.
"i know that you have Zenith's powers......and i'm you had something to do with it.....but...it doesn't seem to matter what anyone says or does....Starfire is too stubborn to hear....or want to believe the truth..." she said. then she walked out of the room, and looked for Star.

Nightfire remained silent.

Starfire went to the forrest. she layed down on a rock there. Fireflight found her, and walked up to her.
"go away..." said Star.
"i'm just here to talk..."
"i know...thats why i said, go away..."
"you don't want to believe it, do you? whats happening to Nightfire...hes chaniging Star....you can't deny it..."
"watch me..."
"Star....i don't want you to get hurt..."
"Nightfire would'nt ever hurt me...."
"really? so, killing me was just an accident? you know that hurt you..." she said. Starfire looked at her.
"just shut up ok! you don't know what happened! just because you get killed easily just once, and can't come back on your own, doesn't mean you have to take it out on Nightfire! it was just an accident! get that trhough to your thick skull! he didn't even realize he had the power! he didn't mean to kill you! he only wanted me to be ok! you were trying to take me away, and i didn't want to go with you! then Nightfire used some kind of power, and then you died! its not his fault! it was an accident!" she yelled. then she ran off.

A white dragon walked up.
'Whats wrong with Star now?'

Fireflight looked at the dragon.
"who are you? and, how do you know Starfire?" she asked.
Starfire ran to the ocean. she stopped, and sat down on the beach.

'Me? Icefire... I know Star..'

"Icefire....? your.....your Nightfire's mom.....i thought you were....dead...."

Starfire watched the waves rise and fall.

'Was. But im back... Son hates me... Got no one else...'

"Starfire....doesn't hate me....but she probally does now....Nightfire brought me back...and then me and Star were both happy....but then...i think Nightfire...used his powers to make us both dark...then...i figured that he must have done it...Starfire thinks i blame him, because he killed me...now shes mad at me..."

'Well, every day, more of Nightfire turns dark, he may one day turn into something like Zenith.'

"and if that happens.....i bet Starfire will be right by his side....she won't leave him....i even tried telling her whats happening to him...but shes too stubborn to listen to me....she may not be as dark....but her love for Nightfire is clouding her judgement.....her love for him is keeping her from seeing the truth...."

'Well, Nightfire may not become Zenith, but he has all his powers, so he's invaunrable, or so you'd think. You see, he doesn't know how to use all these power properly. Did you see his eye? He never had it open, did he?'

"no...his eye was closed....what happened to his eye?" she asked.
Starfire left the beach. she started flying far away from it.

frostbolt ran over to fireflight. "Fireflight!!" he and frostfire hugged her.

'Sorry to disturb, but, his eye, well, Frostbolt had a fight with him... His initial hits never left a mark, but when Frostbolt hit his eye, it made him go half blind, hence why a tear of blood came from his eye.'

Fireflight looked at Frostbolt and Frostfire. then she saw Quietfire walk up to her. she looked shocked. she looked at the guys.
"uh....excuse me for a moment..." she said. then she got up, and walked over to Quietfire. "do my eyes decieve me.....? or are you.....alive....?" she asked. he looked at her, and smiled.
"its me, Fireflight. i'm really alive. Equinox brought me back" he said. then he hugged her. "i missed you" he continued. she smiled, and hugged back.
"i missed you too" she said.

frostbolt looked at fireflight and Quitefire. he spoke derectly to fireflight. i asked Equenox to bring him back... I know you and star will be happier with him.... frostbolt picked up frostfire and began walking away.

Icefire lay down.

Quietfire looked at Fireflight. she looked at him. then he kissed her on the cheek, and smiled. she smiled back.
"lets find Star and go home..." he said. Fireflight's smile disappeared. "whats wrong?"
"boy have you missed alot......."
"less than you think.....when i was dead.....i watched everything...."
"i understand...but....do you know whats going on now?"
"i.....no.....i just came back and....i haven't found out whats going on right now....where is she?"
"shes.....mad at me.....she ran off somewhere...."
"then lets go find her"
"you go....she'll come to you....i'll....wait for you back home...."
"ok..." he said. then he kissed her on the cheek again. "i'll be back with her soon..." he said. then he ran off to find her. then Fireflight went back home to the cave.

frostbolt and frostfire were wandering around. "daddy what happened?" "your to young to understand...." "but.." "lets just say mommy will be happier now.." "okay buy wh-" "if moomy is happy we are happy... right?" "right.." frostbolt and frostfire wandered past the cave.

Nightfire lay alone.
'Great... Life through one eye....'

Starfire then headed back towards Zenith's cave. she landed right outside the cave. then Quietfire ran up to her.
"Star!!" he yelled. Starfire looked at him. her eyes widended. she gasped.
"Dad?!!" she said. then she ran up to him. he went up to her.
"hey Star....i've been brought back....don't ask..."
"i don't need to know..." she said, smiling. then she hugged him. "i missed you"
"i missed you too" he replied.

Fireflight went back to the cave. she went to her room.

frostbolt and frostfire wandered but then stopped frostbolt ran over to the cave he carved a very old rune into the side of the cave with his claws. it was a summoning rune. he cut is arm open put some of his blood on the rune. fireflight.... i put a summoning rune on the wall.... if anything harmful comes into the cave i'll kill it.. i won't let anything bother you.. star.. or quitefire.... i know you'll be happier with quitefire......goodbye.... i love you.. frostbolt walked out of the cave with frostfire.

Nightfire looked around. Things looked different through one eye. He walked and saw Star.

Starfire hugged Quietfire.
"lets go home...." he said. Starfire looked at him.
"but Dad..."
"Star....i can see that your dark....but couldn't you come home for at least a little while? would it kill you to spend some time with your parents?" he asked. Starfire smiled.
"well.....i guess i could visit for a little while..." she said. he smiled.
"thats my girl...lets go home..." he said. then they both flew towards home.

Fireflight saw the note that Frostbolt left. then she went back to her room. she locked the door, and layed down.

Quietfire and Starfire were on thier way home.

frostbolt left with frostfire. "lets go.." "where dad?" "I.. I don;t know... i'll find a place.. i promise."

Quietfire and Starfire arrived at the cave.
"laides first" he said. then Starfire walked in. he walked in behind her. "Fireflight! i brought Starfire!" he called; but there was no answer.
"maybe shes sleeping" said Star.
"maybe....i'll go check on her..." he said. then he went to her room. he tried to open the door, but it was locked. "Fireflight....please open the door....whats wrong?" he asked; but there was no answer. Starfire went to her room, and layed down.

the blood on the rune frostbolt had left turned blue.. and the sratches on the wall become blue. the whole run was thin blue lines.

Quietfire tried to open the door, but he couldn't.
"Fireflight.....please let me in.....i know somethings bothering you....just talk to me...." he said. there was no answer. Quietfire then went to Starfire's room. she looked at him.
"no luck, huh?" she asked. he shook his head.
"i don't know whats wrong....the door is locked....and shes not responding..."
"maybe she went out..."
"no...she said she would wait for us..."
"i believe that, but she could have been lying....or maybe something came up..."
"Star...she doesn't lie often...and she would have said something if she had to leave..."
"maybe she just needs some time alone....she did love Frostbolt and Frostfire....and now that your back...they both left because they think she'd rather be with us....but she probally feels torn between us..."

Gabriella appeared back at the cave.
'Hey night, odd place to rest...'
'Rough day...'

the rune on the wall flashed. frostbolt flew around with frostfire on the back.

Quietfire looked at Starfire.
"you know....that sounds about right....Fireflight is the kind of dragon that needs to be around everyone she cares about....she can't choose between us..."
"yeah....we should find her....i'm sure she left....."
"do you think shes at the beach?"
"no, Dad, thats too obvious...every empath goes there..."
"your right....but where else would she go...?"

frostbolt flew around with frostfire. frostfire had fallen asleep. frostbolt started to cry.

Fireflight was swimming in the ocean. she swam deep in the water, and used her powers to cloak herself, so she wouldn't be found.

Quietfire and Starfire left the cave, and flew around, looking for Fireflight. then Star got an idea.
"frostbolt....i know you left....but i also know you still care abouy my mom....shes gone and we don't know where she is...please help us..." she thought.

frostbolt's thoughts even sounded sad. yes... i'll look for fireflight.... frostbolt flew over the ocean. he knew whre she had gone. he set frostfire on the beach and dove into the water.

Fireflight was still swimming. she didn't swim fast, but she did swim further away from home.

Quietfire and Star cotinued looking for her. she flew to the ocean.

frostbolt thought he saw fireflight. he swam toword her.. quickly.

Fireflight saw a shiny, pretty red shell on the ocean floor. she then swam towards it. she picked it up, and looked at it.

Quietfire and Star swam over the ocean. they couldn't see her from up in the air.
