It was late a night. Silro wandered through his cave, worrying. Losing nightfire had been hard for him, but now he feared that one day, he would lose him for good.

Fireflight was in her cave. she was sleeping with Starfire and Comet. Quietfire watched them while they slept.

Silro couldnt sleep because of his worrys. The thing he had seen in his life made it worse. How anything can be a possibility.

Fireflight suddenly woke up. she saw the kids sleeping next to her. she got up, and walked over to the cave entrance, and looked outside. Quietfire went over, and sat down beside her. he put his ghostly paw on hers, and she could feel it. she knew he was there.

Silro heard something behind him. He choose to ignore it. He then heard a sharp sound, like two blades being sharpened. He looked behind him and saw no one. He then remembered it was winter and ice had covered the riveres and lakes. He then realised that no one would be on the ice at this time of night.

Fireflight looked up at the night sky. Quietfire sat beside her. he looked at her wishing he could hold her in his arms.

Silro then heard the sounds again and looked behind him. He saw a dark character holding Nightfire up with a blade to his neck. Silro then charged at the character, but he then found himself getting weaker until he collapsed. He then saw the character pull his blade and thrust it at Nightfire.
'NIghtfire!!!!' Silro said as he woke up from his nightmare.

Fireflight looked up at the sky. Quietfire looked at her.
"i wish i was alive again........" he whispered.
"me too......." she said. then a shooting star shot across the sky.

Silro decided to get some fresh air. He got up and walked out his cave, clamering down the hillside finally reaching the bottom. He didnt look down, just infront of him. He then heard some cracking noises from below him. He looked down but couldnt see anything. He continued to walk on with the cracking getting worse. He then thought it would be safer to go back, but then he plumeted through the ground into freezing waters. He tried to swim back up, but the hole he had come through seemed to have already shut. He then tried to use his flame breath to escape, but it wouldnt ignite underwater. He tried ramming the ice to break, but with no avail. Panicking, he swam fast to the other side to break out that side.

Fireflight got tired, and decided to go back to bed. she lay down next to the kids, and went back to sleep. Quietfire watched over them.

Silro panicked as he banged on the ice repeatatly and yelled to get help. He wasnt sure if anyone would hear him, but still continued.

Quietfire was out walking around on the ice.

Silro then swam back as he charged through the ice. His charge then sent him through the air onto the ice. The icey cold water went everywhere as he landed. He gulped for the fresh air he needed and then choked on the water he had swallowed. He then looked up as everything looked blurry. He thought he was just in shock as he tried to walk on. Then he's breathing seemed to get slower. He then took in air once more before everything turned black as he collapsed.

Quietfire saw Silro come out of the ice. he went over to him. he looked down at Silro.
"Silro....are you ok?..." he whispered.

Silro didnt answer. His eyes were shut and his body freezing.

Quietfire went to Fireflight.
"Fireflight! Silro's in trouble!" he whispered to her. she suddenly woke up.
"what happened?! where is he?!" she asked. then he told her where he was. she flew out of the cave, and went to him. she saw him, and went over to him. she then tried to heal him.

Silro brelyopened his eyes as he looked at Fireflight. He reached his paw out.

Quietfire left to check on the kids. while Fireflight stayed with Silro.
"Silro, are you ok?" she asked.

Silro didnt say anything. His rested near Fireflight and she could feel how his body was freezing.

Fireflight layed down next to him. she wasn't going to leave untill she knew for sure he was ok.

Silro's eyes closed once again.

Fireflight used her powers, and then her body looked like it was on fire, but she wasn't. she was warming up her body, to keep Silro warm.

The was a loud noise that sounded like a crack, then following some smaller soundng cracks.

Fireflight had a feeling that something was wrong. she then grabbed Silro, and used her powers to take them back to her cave. she layed him down, and she layed down beside him to keep him warm.

The ice that the two were just on then cracked apart showing the ice coldwater below.

Fireflight was keeping Silro warm. Starfire was sleeping, but Comet wasn't in the cave. Fireflight eventually fell asleep, and she didn't realize that he wasn't there.

Nightfire had woken to see the ice split apart. He then left to find his dad.

Comet was out walking around on the ice. he may have been a silver dragon, but he was like an ice dragon. he had ice powers, and liked the cold.

Nightfire was also looking around on the ice, occasionaly slipping up. He tried to stay standing up, but his paws keept slipping from under him because of the ice.

Comet was use to the cold. he could walk around on the ice just fine. he then used his powers to make it snow, and then he started to make snowdragons.

Nightfire saw Comet and tried to sneak up on him.

Comet continued to make dragons out of the snow. he loved the cold. he loved to play in the snow. he wished that Starfire would play with him, but she liked it warm.

Nightfire then tripped up right behind Comet.

Then.....a darkness...swept upon the land...an mysterious evil, had thrusted the world into darkness....
