The reason why that Smyth's catalog seems so hard to believe, is because they list only 1 triple pack. I have never, and I mean never, seen one thing ship in its own box. They're not going to release a case of 6 of the same triple packs.

While I support your skeptism that this could even be considered a complete list it must be mentioned that the adventure packs were shipped tis way and it appears battlepacks will also.

A better arguement that last year the Smyth article listed only characters that were in wave 1 but not every character in wave 1. No reason to expect different behavior this year. It is also wierd tat TRU is offereing presales of figures not on this list like Sonic Boom if they were really not wave 1 also. In addition we were promised a large 1st wave indicating larger than last years where 24/37 were available on day one. It must also noted that everyone on the Smyth list is on the amazon leak list.

edit: it would also be weird for the company to offer variants of flameslinger on day one without including his regular form as well.

In this example 16 of the 24 series 2 would appear in stores in some form on day one.

That makes sense for 16 to be available. That way it evens it out for waves. 2-3 new ones per wave, one giants and new Skylander per wave, 1-2 LC

That still doesn't prove anything. You don't know which Skylanders or Giants will really be in Wave 1, you're just basing this all on the majority of the Skylander toys shown in the commercial.

If hot head's in wave 1, I'll be happy. I think the ones on the games logo will be in wave one IMO

I'm just stating what is shown. They haven't even revealed the official list of Wave 1 Skylanders.

Only reason why Pirate Seas and Darklight Crypt were in their own boxes during launch, was due to the exclusivity of DC to TRU for the first 30 days.

Triple packs at launch broke down like this -

I doubt they'd release a case of 6, multiply that by how many cases of triple packs they send, and flood the shelves with only 3 of the same Skylander.

Commercials don't tell us anything. Ignorance of people these days. Problems with your list:

1)You are mainly basing this off of the commercial. They tell us nothing on releases.

2) There are way to many figures. It isnt logical to put that many in the release. Be for real please.

3) It's logical to have around 16 S2 characters, at most 4 giants, 4 light core, and 4 new ones. That way we get a total of four waves. It has to do with money, and keeping people anticipated for more characters.

4) Please use logic And can not stress that enough. Yes you maybe a kid, but come on. That's like all the characters.

5) use reliable sources. Half of what you put hasn't even like gotten enough attention yet.

6) people leave aura alone. She is not a party pooper, simply stating the flaws which are very much true.

They will not in stores until the 21st (or 17th or 19th). The only way you can get something early is ordering the REGULAR Dragonfire Cannon Battle Pack from Toys R Us.

Oh i thought i heard someone say the figures would be available the 16th before the game comes out, i know you could get the battle pack early from toys r us but i was wondering if the early release date applied to the golden one exclusive to gamestops
