Scratch arrived to the old cave, but decided to let Nero have a search. "Well, what are you waiting for/ Is he there?" he asked believing it was better to leave the most dangerous parts to someone else. Plus, Nero was a little smaller and was fast on his feet. Scratch would have been more sneaky if the flutter of his wings didn't get attention...

Ooc: The old one, but he doesn't know that

He finally went insisde, but there was no one ther, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

"What was that there isn't no one there?" Scratch asked sarcastically, having heard a voice...

"WHHYyyyyyYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY must the bad things always happen to pretty eagles..."

"Who the heck is there? Nero! Isn't that voice coming from the cave." Scratch then asked, tempted to go in there himself if Nero didn't hurry...

Roark heard voices coming from ooutside and went out. "Hello. Iv'e just been comtemplating all of my failures and the meaning of life inside of a damp dark cave

Scratch wasn't the least bit amused. "Oh no, another spotted cat. Is this day going to get any worse?" he commented, very annoyed. Sayan was enough for a sore eyesight, now there was another big cat? He hoped he wasn't out to rescue Marahute and ruin everything, like Sayan did already...

"I'm here to rescue Marahute" stated the cheetah

Ooc: HEHEHE

"Hah, I knew it. Why else would somebody like you be in this forsaken forest? Now you listen here! I already rescued a feline who was unable to save her. So you better leave this to me!" Scratch scolded, not mentioning Nero, and refusing to have another feline step in his way.

"WHy you little screwed up feral screwball.... continues with curses

"Ok... Humph"

"Come on Nero, didn't you say you knew this forest? Quit slacking, keep searching!" the owl tell, rather loudly, ignoring the cheetah completely...

"Dangerous? I like it! As long as there is some enemy I can analyze, or a life threatening PUZZLE!! Oh how I love puzzles...!" then walked up o Nero and asked in his most serious tone: "WHat say you?"

"You are going? Give me a break! Alright Nero, tell me where this cave is. If it's dangerous, that so sounds like the hunter." Scratch told him, ignoring once again the cheetah. He knew there was nothing he could do to stop the skinny animal, and it wasn't like him to attack somebody that hasn't attacked him. But even with that, if the cheetah followed them, he wasn't going to let have his chance ruined again like Sayan did.

Roark eyed Scratch wearily. If the owl even tries to get in his way, it'll be the last way he get's in. "i'm going after Marahute and that's that. I will follow you cause' you know the wat, but if that owl even tries to keep me from the poacher, I will eat him.

"Listen kitty, the last feline that tried to rescue Marahute blew it big time but it's none of my business to babysit... whatever cat you are! Don't come whining to me if you blow it too, oh right, you already have." Scratch mocked, noticing the tear-like spots across the eyes.

Meanwhile, Sayan's tranquilizer was beginning to wear off. 'Stupid dart...,' he thought as he shook off some of the leaves covering him.

'Camoflauge?,' Sayan thought as he got up and shook off the rest of the leaves. 'Must be the work of the others. Speaking of which, where ARE the others? ...and Marahute?!', he further thought as he he looked at his surroundings. 'Hopefully, she wasn't captured. If she was, the others would have gone after her,' his thoughts continued as he took note of tire tracks as well as any scent that lingered in the air. An idea then popped in his head and he proceeded to head towards the old cave. Being unconscious since the fall, he wasn't aware of the lizard nor was he aware of Roark.

"Owl, I haven't failed quite yet. I am still going to the cave, and I am still rescuing Marahute. You and your mockery will not keep me from my goal, if you try I will either set you up or kill you." He then looked to Nero, "Show me the way."

Just as Scratch was about to answer the threatening cat, he was in quite a shock when Nero stood up for him. He was ready for any attack, even if Roark attacked him, he was at least going to try to leave him blind, as he always did to his enemies. He never imagined that Nero would interfere, and even less consider him a friend. This made him very touchy, but he didn't showed it one bit. He remained there quietly.

"What do you think you're doing? I had everything under control." Scratch whispered, who, after a while, let his bigger than life pride get the best of him...

Sayan, whom had gone with great haste, had arrived. He had only caught the last line and hadn't heard the whisper. 'Another feline... He must have shown up while I was out...,' he thought as he watched from behind the trees. He remained silent and was waiting for the right moment to review himself.

"I promise. I wasn't planning on harming you lizard, but the owl is annoying. You can come out now." He stated before saying to Scratch, "Sorry. I just don't want to deal with an owl with an ego as big as 3 blue whales, and 6 T rexes

Ooc: Oh.... I thought Nero was the lizard?

"Whaddaya mean?" asked the cheetah, questioning the sanity of Nero.

"True." the Cheetah then looked in Sayan's direction, "I was talking to you!"

In response to the cheetah, Sayan proceeded to review himself in front on the group. "Who is our new friend here?," asked the Amur Leopard with curiosity.

OCC: Just in case you need it assassinelf, here's his appearance.
Appearance: He's a young(ish) leopard [image] with a thick metal collar. His collar is made of Rhodium; the world's most valuable precious metal.

Roark then said, "I am the friend of none of you. I'm just trying to find Marahute." he then sjot a look at Scratch, "Especially not that cat hater

"So you have finally woke up. Do you know how much I've been through to keep YOU safe?" Scratch scolded, finally talking after seeing the meeting with bitterness. He focused at Sayan, completely ignoring Roark just to annoy him.

"So, are we going to go now?" he then looked at the Kangaroo Rat, " Hmm, I never thought I would say this to a rodent, but you are my favorite of the people I have met so far, Sayan is ok, but I like you better, and Scratch is a pushover with a big head

"Why thank you for saying that at least something about me is big." Scratch said with some happiness. He wasn't annoyed at all by the commentary, as Roark seemed like the kind of guy who is fun to tease.

Roark raced after him, and looked back at SCratch, teasing him was gonna be a blast.

"No... but I have an idea and I am very thankful.," Sayan said in response to Scratch. "Now are we going to argue or are we going to save our friend?!," he continued as he raced after Roark and Nero.

Roark looked back at Sayan. He felt sorry for em', mostly because of the annoying owl.

Scratch followed them along, flyig from branch to branch rather than walking. It was fun to tease Roark, but he didn't want to take any risks with him, even if he had the support of Nero. Taking a closer look at the cheetah, he found out yet another reason to annoy him; "Goodness you are so WAY skinny. Seriously, my whole wingspan could go around your waist. Did reaching this mountain made you so... malnutrition?" he asked, eager to hear the cheetah's response...

"Oh, that's just one of my dad's many requirements to live with him...."

"Hah, and I thought MY dad was a strict one..." Scratch commented, before realizing that he was actually starting to sympathize with him. But like always, he let his pride dominate. He wiped out his smile and resumed with a straight, serious face, pretending that he started to ignore Roark once more...

Roark looked at Scratch. Was he just being sympathetic? It's prolly some master plan to set him up in front of Bronos.

"When do we get there Nero? I'm tired of the scenery." Scratch complained, though he left a mystery whether he was referring to the forest or the group...

"Scenery? Do you mean your tired of your natural habitat, or us..."

"Hah, and why should you care?" Scratch answered, wanting to irritate him. Being a hermit, he was growing extremely tired of working with a group, especially with someone like Roark, who hated him...

Ooc: Roark doesn't hate Scratch, he just dislikes him

"I care because your an owl. You can fight." he then looked around thinkin about the truth of the sentence
