"You're a sweetie you know that?" Miku says. Then realizing what she said she cups her mouth and glows red.

Keita laughs softly and shakes his head, looking out at the moon.
"Not really. I sure try, though."

Miku smiles, "Well you are. Never forget that."

Keita smiles.
"Thanks. You're one of the first to not call me a devil. It's really nice." he says.

"Why? Cause you're half wolf? I'm surprised they haven't attempted to kill you." Miku ponders.

Keita sighs.
"Yes, that's why. And there are a few who've attempted."

Miku suddenly feels frightened. "I think we should go..."

"So... Unari. Want to go hunting? There's been a shat ton of posts since we last ate." Aika says, her stomach growling.

Unari nods.
"Sure. Let's go."

Keita looks at Miku.
"Are you worried? Don't be afraid. I can protect you. It's a good use of my life." he says.

Aika goes in her wolf form her nose to the ground to pick up any trails.

"Oh, don't worry. I beleive you." Miku says smiling. She was really coming to trust and like Keita.

Unari morphs to wolf form and lifts his head to scent the air.

Keita smiles. He suddenly looks around at the sound of a rustle in the bushes. Quickly standing, he blocks Miku from whatever is in the bushes.

OOC: ACTION SCENE!

Miku peeks past Keita and snarls a warning to whatever is there. She draws her hunting knife just in case it is an enemy.

OOC: I thought it was time.

Keita tenses as a black dog charges from the bushes and knocks him down, sinking its teeth into his shoulder, causing him to yell out in pain.

OOC: DUN DUN DUN!!!

Miku instinct to protect a loved one kicks in. She slices at the dog's throat but misses and stabs its leg. The dog turns to her and runs to her, it pounces on her and bites her throat, though not deep enough to kill her. She plays dead in hopes the dog will back off.

OOC: DOUBLE DUN DUN DUN!!!!

OOC: So much action

The dog doesn't fall for the act, and it tries to snap at Miku's face.

Keita growls as he gets to his paws in wolf form.
"DON'T TOUCH HER!" he howls, tackling the dog.

The dog and Keita tumble around, scathing each other in a flurry of claws and teeth. The dog soon retreats back to its owner and Keita lays there, his fur matted with dust, and wet with blood. Keita moans a little in pain.

Miku looks over at Keita still lying on the ground. "Thank you..." she whispers as she closes her eyes.

Keita weakly opens his eyes and smiles.
"You're welcome...I'm just glad you're okay..." he manages.

Miku senses Keita's smiling. "I try." Miku attempts to get up but as she does she gets a dizzy spell and is forced to lay back down.

Keita closes his eyes as he painfully tries to stand. He finally gets to his paws and limps to Miku before collapsing with a small yelp of pain beside her. The breeze is chilly, so Keita leans against Miku, shielding her from the cold wind.

Miku flinches when Keita touches her but doesn't back off. She slowly moves her hand to her neck inspecting the damage. It doesn't seem to serious and dimly she nods off from the blood loss.

"Have you scent anything yet?" Aika asks Unari.

OOC: Love the avie!

Unari nods.
"Some horses and buffalo. Choice?" he asks.

Keita nods off as well, unable to move at all.

OOC: Yay!

"Buffalo." Aika says sniffing for them.

Unari nods.
"Let's go." he says, taking the lead.

Keita wakes slowly. Seeing Miku still out, he whimpers and nudges her gently with his muzzle.

Aika runs toward the buffaloes.

Miku murmurs something unintelligible in her sleep.

Unari chases the buffalo calf toward Aika.

Keita gently licks Miku's face.
"Miku?" he whimpers, prodding her softly with a grey paw.

Aika jumps on the calf killing it.

Miku opens her eyes. "K-keita?" She asks.

Unari smiles.
"Nice job!"

Keita rests his furry grey head against Miku's.
"Yes. Are you okay?" he whimpers.

"Y-yes... I hope." Miku coughs.

"Thanks!" Aika says.

Unari smiles happily. He was happy to have Aika.

OOC: What does Miku look like as a wolf? I have a great idea.

Keita closes his eyes and nods.
"That's good. As long as you're okay...that's all I care about..." he whimpers, his vision blurring a little and his limbs going limp. He was losing a lot of blood and very fast.

OOC: I was listening to this song, and I thought it was the perfect song that Keita would sing to Miku. Just listen. It's perfect:

OOC: Here is Miku,

Miku licks Keita's wounds cleaning them. "Me too." she whispers.

OOC: Cool!

OOC: Oh, I'm going to have fun attempting to draw that.
Doesn't that song work so well? It's a really sweet song and I thought it matched Keita.

Keita lets out a shuddering breath.
"I think I'm losing consciousness..." he whimpers.

"N-no... Keita don't..." Miku said feeling close to death herself.

Keita weakly smiles.
"I'll try not to if you try."

Miku laughs softly. She stands up and begins to drag Keita to the other humans hoping they will help him. When they get close enough she grunts loudly to get their attension. She then collapses and slips into unconsciousness.

Keita whimpers as Miku goes limp. He looks up to see a young boy and his older sister standing over them.

"Poor dogs." says the girl. She picks up the two wolves and, followed by the younger boy, head to a small house. The two sibling's mother takes the two wolves from the girl quickly and cleans and bandages their wounds.

Keita drifts off into sleep.

Aika digs into to the calf to eat her fill.

Unari looks up at the stars, sensing that Keita and Miku are injured.

Aika senses Unari's worry. "What's wrong?" She asks.

Unari looks at Aika.
"Miku and Keita are injured. I sense it...but...they are with nice people, so I shouldn't worry."

The young boy sits by Keita, stroking the grey wolf's head and smiling softly.
"I'm Daniel." the boy whispers into Keita's ear.

"Daniel." Keita whispers and the boy smiles.

"Yeah. Daniel." he laughs and Keita smiles.

"If you're sure. Anyway come eat with me." Aika protests.

Miku starts slipping deeper into her unconsiousness, she begins to have a dream about Keita.

Unari nods, hearing the small tone of protest in Aika's voice. He laughs.
"Alright."

Keita blinks.
"I'm Keita. That's Miku." he says, gesturing to Miku with his muzzle.

Daniel nods.
"Future, and blessing. That's what your names mean. I like that. Are you two mates?" he asks.

Keita smiles.
"I wish."

Miku grunts in her dream. She awakes with a start and seeing being surrounded by humans she snarls at them.

Daniel backs up, startled.

Keita rests his furry grey head on Miku's.
"It's okay. These people are helping us." he whispers in her ear.

Daniel turns to the older girl, who sits in a chair leaning against the wall.
"Look, Aries! They both woke up!" he says happily.

Miku doesn't believe him and continues to snarl. She doesn't dare to talk for she wants them to think she is a normal wolf.

Aries looks the two wolves over. She smiles.
"Keita, I see some dog beat you well, huh?" she chuckles.

Keita closes his eyes with a small smile.
"I thought you'd never recognize me."

Miku decides she's had enough and get up to leave. Beaten by a regular dog! How embarassing!" She thinks.

Keita rests his head on paws.
"I hate that dog, though. He thinks he can beat up anything because he was a pit dog. He almost killed Miku. I couldn't allow that." he says with a sigh, sensing Miku leaving.

Miku decides to stay since the humans do not seem hostile. She sits by Keita.

Aries shook her head.
"I hate that dog as much as you do. It killed our dog, remember?" she says.

Keita whimpers.
"I tried to save her...I tried..." he protested.

Aries looks out at the moon.
"If I hadn't of pulled you away, Keita, you would have been just as dead."

"...But you did save me." Miku finally speaks. Her voice is horse and it seems to require a great amount of energy for her to speak.

Keita blinks in surprise as Miku speaks. His head droops.
"But I wasn't helpful enough. It still hurt you."
