"I see, that's a pretty-" Soul stopped and realized something. "Did you just say that someone here came up with a 'cure' that can make Pokemies stronger?"

OOC: wow, 250 posts. Thanks for the support of the RP guys, it means a lot.

Vern smiled. "Don't worry about us," he said. "We care more about making out of this mess alive than tainting the cure." Migx raised his hand. "I could care less," he said.

"Yes. A month or two back, there was a team of a Slowking and a Metagross. Very smart pair I must add. The 'cure' had one fatal problem: It had fungi, and fungi feeds Pokemies. So as soon as they shown the SEP, the Pokemies were stronger than they could handle, but the effects wore off, and it was handled. Do you remember what Tika was holding at New Angeles? It was that. Someone must have found the Outskirters and forced them to create it. Most likely it was Outlaws to make the world do their bidding. Hopefully this menace can be stopped with the Elixir. Now, let's help this poor Bulbasaur back to a survival pocket." Historius answered.

Conner said to Heart and Soul, "This cure can change the world, but do you still believe the world should know about their savior yet?".

"But what about "Daddy Dearest"?" Migx asked. "I doubt this is the last we will hear of Varmy." Vern looked at the Bulbasaur and out the window. "...Hmmm... I wonder," Vern started. "I do not know the exact fat of my friends. Either they died, or they turned into Pokemies. If the later is true, then maybe there's still hope."

"Well, yes, we could save your friends Vern, but Pokemies are hard to identify as Pokémon you know. They always seem to look alike. Hopefully you have great memory of these friends Vern, or we might not be able to save them. Anyways, we should try and find those Outskirters that created the Enhancer, as I shall call it", Historius answered.

"I don't think the world should know until we find a way to replicate this formula easily," said Heart. "If they find out that the blood from an immune is required for the cure, who knows what they would do to them. As long as you know the formula on how to work this, we can take as long as we want on figuring this out. It would be best to make copies of the formula for making a cure. And we will keep it and Conner's immunity a secret."

"So, where do we find these Outskirters?"asked Soul.

"We don't know. They just left a month or two ago and never came back. If the Salamence, Mismagius, and Noctowl has the Enhancer last, I would figure they would be in their home base. Do you know where that is?", Historius questioned.

"No idea," said Soul, "They just attacked today. All we know is that they broke into Labyrinth a while back, and that they stole the mutated cure from there. They could be anywhere, since they're Outlaws. They can't be at any bandit camps, seeing as how the two are notorious rivals."

"We could all split up and try to find them," Heart suggested. "We could try finding both those Outlaws and the Outskirters who made the Enhancer, as you call it, and come back here once we found something. the process may take a while, but it will be worth it. For example, we all travel out today and return here tomorrow, sharing any leads we may possibly get."

"Everest can be your home base. We don't mind. We want to stop this madness as well, so we will give each of you an Elixir spray. Just be careful not to show it to anyone other than yourselves, as it is a very valuable thing. Conner can return the Bulbasaur to a Survival Pocket, and he can search for the scientists, and possibly save them. Here are your sprays.", Historius said. He then handed Heart, Soul, Crystal, Vern, and Migx a little spray, about a pint each. "Remember, each Pokemie needs only one spray. Multiple is just a waste. Let us all do well on the search for the Outlaws.", Conner said.

"You know, I would figure that Outlaws would go somewhere secluded, like an abandoned survival pocket, to be their base. Wouldn't you think so?", Historius questioned.

OOC: Crystal is still outside. she couldn't have gotten it.

"Yeah, I guess we could try that," said Soul, taking the Elixer spray. "We'll start with Apple City. that Survival Pocket got overrun with Pokemies a while back. Thanks for everything. We will hopefully be back here in a day or two." Soul and Heart walked outside to get Crystal and Tika.

Soul walked to Crystal. "You alright?"

"Do they know about my immunity?" Crystal asked, "Are they going to hurt me?"

"No, they won't. They promised to keep it a secret. Don't worry, these Outskirters are nice people."
Crystal studdered. "...okay." she said.

"Soul, we still haven't figured out what to do with Tika," Heart whispered.

Soul thought for a moment. "She can tag along. if we're going to Apple City, we need all the help we can get. Tika!" he yelled.

"What's up?" she asked.

"You can stay with our group, as long as you don't try anything you'll regret."

"You can count on me," Tika said to Soul.

"Tika is coming with us!?" Crystal said with excitement. "Yay!" Crystal grabbe Tika and started walking away from Everest.

"She seems happy," Heart said.
"You think?" said Soul.
"Let's head back to New Angeles and stock up on supplies. We really need to do so."

and with that, the group with their newest member headed back to New Angeles to prepare for their journey.

"I guess..." Vern started. "Is it alright if we stick along with?" Migx was able to get up finally after the potion he drank. "We don't have anything better to do."

OOC: Stick along with me, or stick along with me? Or Pankakesparx456?

OOC: I don't know what's going on. Sorry. Could I get a quick recap?

OOC: Basically, we were discussing about how to find the scientists that made the Enhancer, and we are going to split up with Elixir sprayers.

"Well, I suppose we should be going soon. When would be best?", Conner asked.

Vern nodded at Conner. "Why don't we just leave now?" he asked. Migx raised his paw. "When do you think is right?" he asked before looking down at the Bulbasaur, putting on his best smile.

Calia was desperate, so she tried one last thing. She stood in front of the pokemies and used last resort, sending some of the pokemies flying and the others falling down on the ground.

"I believe leaving now would be best. There are only a few more hour in the day, and you don't want to be caught out in he open at night, so yes. You should leave now. "Historius said.

Migx decided to pick up the Bulbasaur gently and hold him in a way that was comfortable for the bulbasaur, then followed Vern and Connor.

Conner said to Soul, Heart, Crystal, and Tika, "Let us do well. I hope to see you again around sundown. Good bye, for now.". He then shut the door behind him, Vern, and Migx.

"Okay, where do we go first?" Migx asked. Vern shot a look. "I thought Conner told you," he said.

Calia motioned for the others to keep running as she bounded after them. She hoped it had done the trick.

"Hold on, hold on. First we should go to the first survival pocket we see so we can drop off this Bulbasaur. Hello, little guy, can you tell us your name?" Conner said. "My name is Max." the Bulbasaur, now referred to as Max, said.

"Awww, hi Max," Migx said, petting Max gently, hoping he would come off as friendly. "I'm Migx, and the Drowzee is Vern. Also the Lucario is Conner." Vern wasn't paying attention to Migx. He was keeping on the lookout. "So where is the location we're planning on?" Vern asked.

Well, the closest one is Indigo. We had better get going. Come on Max.", Conner said. He then walked off with the little Bulbasaur following him.

After many more miles of running, the four lost the pokemies, but climbed a tree to wait until they were sure that the pokemies were gone for good. Emily and Pete collapsed on the branch that they were all sitting on, panting from exhaustion.

Migx let Max down to follow them to Indigo. "Say, I got another question. How safe is the area? Like besides Pokemies, are there bandits too?"

"Is...everyone...alright?" Calia asked. Cameron nodded, but the other two shook their heads. "I think I pulled something." Emily whined. "Let me take a look." Cameron said quickly.

The group headed down to New Angeles, and managed to see the aftermath of what had happened upon entering the city. it wasn't pretty.

The SEP was holding back a bunch of rioting Pokémon, throwing things at the SEP, holding signs that said things like 'Can We Trust the SEP?' 'The SEP can't keep us safe!' 'We want better protection!'

It was a horrific sight that Soul, Heart, Crystal, and Tika did not want to be involved in. it was clear that New Angeles was going to fall apart until they got better security and protection.

"Alright guys, let's split up," said Heart, "Soul and Tika, you take half of our money and get as many different berries as you can. Crystal and I will go and get medicines, potions, and the like. Do not get involved in this riot at all, try to stay away from it. take detours if you have to, but do not be a part of this riot. meet back here in an hour. remember, get as much as you can, Soul and Tika."

"You can count on us, Heart," said Soul, and he took the money and ran off in the direction of the market with Tika.

"C'mon, Crystal, let's go," said Heart, and the two took off in the opposite direction.

OOC: DAY 3 will be approaching 2 days from now, just a heads up. So now is a good time to wrap up your stories for the next day.

OoC: Alright.

"There aren't really many bandits, as Indigo isn't a very big Pocket, and the Pokemies around here tend to stay by themselves. Come on, lets drop him off here. I don't want another mouth to feed, but I want him to be safe too, so this is the best option." Conner said, walking over to Indigo with Max.

OOC: okay.

Cameron took a closer look at Emily's leg and said, "I don't think it's pulled, just strained." "Some rest will hopefully make it better." Calia looked at her map and said, "I think we should go to Indigo. It's not far, and I'd feel safer there than up here with the risk of pokemies chasing us." Cameron nodded and said, "Can Emily make it that far?" Calia shook her head and said, "No, probably not, so one of us will have to carry her." As expected, Cameron took Emily, gave Pete his backpack, and the four got down from the tree and headed off for Indigo.

Vern started to wonder. "Are... Are you sure Max will be safe there?" Vern asked.

The four could see Indigo in the distance, and they hoped they would get there soon. Cameron was tiring, and they needed to rest.

"I am positive he will be safe. Let's contact the SEP and see if they'll take him in." Conner said. He then walked towards the SEP office.

Calia led the way in, looking for a place to stay. No one stopped them, at least not yet. They probably saw refugees come in all the time. She saw a small inn at the other end of the pocket, and gestured for Cameron and Pete to come quickly.

When everyone got there, Conner said to the SEP captain, "Hello, we were just going to ask you something.". The big Gurdurr answered, "We can take him in. I have seen you before. You asked me several times before if we could take more Pokémon in. Of course we can! Many people just wanted a more comfortable living space, so they left. I may see you soon". Conner was surprised. "Well, I didn't expect him to remember me. Go on Max. This your home now. You will be safe here.", Conner said. The little Bulbasaur then walked away to the main living area, hoping Conner was right.

Migx was still unsure. "But... What if the others living here pick on Max? We can't leave him here." Vern smiled. "Migxy Migxy Migxy your pawfulness. I admire your friendliness and compassion at this point, but we really cannot keep taking in strangers."

Soul and Tika ran towards the market, grabbing as many berries as possible. Even through the riots the owners still wouldn't let them leave without paying. Within the hour, they had only 1,000P left and they had all kinds of different berries.

"So, where are you from exactly?" Soul asked Tika.

Tika took a breath. "I came from this city here. My family died sometime after the virus, and my brother, A Raichu named Mars, works for the SEP. I recently started traveling, I found that mutated cure, and here we are now. What about you?"

"I was born the same year the virus broke out. my family was lucky enough to find Labyrinth and live there. I met Heart there, and years later we became travelers. We recently found Crystal after a bunch of Outskirters tried killing her."

"For what?" Tika asked.

Soul thought for a moment. "If I tell you, will you promise it's a secret between all 4 of us?"

"Of course," said Tika.

"Crystal has an immunity to the virus. The Outskirters wanted to kill her so they could experiment with her immunity. She doesn't talk about her past much, which I can understand considering... yeah."

"Well, i'm glad I get to travel with her," Tika said, "And I look forward to getting to know you and Heart."

Soul smiled. "I look forward too."

Meanwhile...

Heart and Crystal managed to get the potions and medicines needed from the drugstore. When they left, they had 2,000P left of their original total of 10,000P.

When they got back to the entrance, they found Soul and Tika waiting for them.

"How much do you have left?" Heart asked the two.

"1,000P. You?"
"2,000P. so we have 3,000P left."

"So where to now?" asked Crystal.

"Let's head down to the Plantation. We can rest up there then be on our way to Apple City."

The Group then ran as fast as they could to the Plantation. Tika stopped for a moment, looking at her city. there were columns of smoke rising out of the walls, and Tika hoped that everything would be solved in the city before Bandits and Pokemies decided to attack. at that point the whole city would fall, and the hope of establishing a government, economy, or anything related to a normal city would be gone.

"Tika, you okay?" Soul asked as he went up to her while Heart and Crystal entered the Plantation. Tika fell in Soul's arms and weeped.

"Just look at what happened to my city! Of course i'm not okay!"
Soul looked at Tika. "Look, the SEP have got this. If anyone can bring things back in order, they can. Plus, those walls will help protect the city until they establish better security. Those Pokémon were probably just scared because of what happened at the Restaurant. Everything will be fine."

Tika sniffed. "Thanks, Soul." And the two walked into the Plantation. As they entered, Heart and Crystal got the sleeping bags ready.

"Here, we got an extra for you, Tika!" Crystal exclaimed cheerfully. she handed the bag to Tika.

"Gee, thanks guys. I couldn't thank you enough for letting me join you guys." Tika said.

"No problem," said Heart, "Consider us a new part of your family. I know we all are." Heart nodded to Soul and Crystal.

"Yep, one big happy family," said Soul. and with that said, everyone fell asleep.

Calia led the way into the inn, Cameron and Pete following behind. The Pokemon at the front desk was a chimechou, and he looked friendly enough, so Calia asked, "Excuse me, but do you have any rooms for four we can stay in? My friend is hurt, and she needs to rest." The chimechou nodded and yelled, "Belle, we have guests!" Then, a chingling came into the room and said, "My name is Belle, and it's very nice to meet you." Calia nodded and said, "Nice to meet you too." She turned to the others. "Go with Belle to our room." She said. "I'll pay for the night." Cameron and Pete nodded, turning and following Belle. Calia turned back to the chimechou and asked, "How much?" The chimechou smiled and replied, "1,500P, please." Calia's stomach seemed to drop. 1,500P!? That was almost all of her money, and if they had to stay another night, she couldn't afford to. "Here you go." She said, dropping her money on the counter. The chimechou smiled and said, "Please enjoy your stay at the Indigo Inn." Calia nodded and headed off to the room. When she got there, she saw that for a four Pokemon room, it wasn't very big. There were four beds, a restroom, and a small cupboard. Emily and Pete were already passed out on their beds, and Calia smiled. She heard Cameron ask her, "How long are we staying?" Calia turned to him and replied, "One night and whenever we're ready to leave in the morning." Cameron shook his head and said, "I hope Emily gets better soon." Calia nodded and replied, "I hope so too, because I can't afford to stay here another night." She walked over to her bed and curled up on it, whispering, "Good night, everyone." She waited until Cameron turned the lights off and she knew he was asleep before getting back up, making sure that everyone had a blanket, and then grabbing a "Do not disturb." sign and putting it on the door. She then went back to her bed and fell asleep peacefully.

"We really need to get back to Everest. We said to Historius we would be there. Plus, the inns here are REALLY expensive. Now come on. Bye Max!", Conner replied. MAX THEN WAVED GOOD BYE. Conner then started walking out of the door..

(OOC: BTW, did you want some interaction with AmazingSpyro's characters?)

OOC: Yes, if anyone wants to interact with my characters, it's fine.

(OOC: Makes sense since we're all in Indigo right now.)

OoC: I am all fine with that. Though, there would have to be some sort of instance where AmazingSpyro's characters meet ours.

OOC: Day 3 is approaching later today, remember guys.

Migx started to yawn. "Now that I think of it, I'm kind of tired. Can we head there in the morning?" he asked. Vern face palmed himself hard. "MIGX! We don't have time. We have to get back. Plus, we don't have money for an inn." Migx shook his head. "Then we don't need to sleep at an inn. The ground is my bed."

DAY THREE

Soul woke up the next morning, looking out at New Angeles. The city, thankfully, wasn't smoking anymore. He got the rest of the group up and went through his supplies.

Conner woke up on the ground, following Migx's decision. "We need to return to Everest. I bet Historius is worried. We should head back.", Conner said to Vern and Migx.

Vern woke up with a massive headache. "Ugh. Can someone PLEASE explain to me why we decided to go with Migx's idea?" he asked.

"Probably because we wouldn't have made it there in time. Also because we didn't have enough money for an inn, and sleeping out in the open is dangerous. Now, lets get going!", Conner replied to Vern. He then stood up, and motioned the others to follow him.

Calia woke up, stretching, and saw that the others were still asleep. She padded over to the others, shook each one of them in turn, and whispered, "Wake up." As the other three rose, Calia got her bag and made sure she still had all of her supplies. When she saw that the others were ready, she headed out the door, said goodbye to the chimechou at the front desk, and walked out the door with the others.
