Sylvia didn't know how to comfort both of her friends at once, but she tried her best. "Listen, both of you." She said. "I don't know how to help you, but I'll do my best." "We can leave whenever you're ready."

Leo woke and saw Miles disappear into the woods. "Where's he going?" He asked. Sylvia walked over to Leo and positioned herself under his hand, laying down next to him. "I don't know hat to do." She said. "All I can think of is to give them time and to hope for the best." Leo ruffled the fur on the back of Sylvia's neck and murmured, "Hey, we'll get through this." Sylvia nodded and replied, "I hope so." "But I still need to get you home, and I...I....I don't know if I will be able to." Leo pulled her closer so that she was pressed up against him. She put her head on his lap, and sighed, closing her eyes.

Widow tried to redeem herself and shakily got up to go thank Miles. "Oh and also the males' name is Ghost." Widow went out and found him. "Thank you for getting that bobcat for me I I." Widow started to cry again. "I should have been a better mother and not taken my eyes off them!" She leaned into Miles and fell asleep.

Leo turned to Dart. "Strange things have been have been happening lately, wouldn't you agree?" He said.

"Yes. Yes they have." Widow got up and went back to the tree and snuggled her remaining puppies close.

"It makes me wonder how much longer his war can last." Leo said. "It's all so strange and cruel."

Leo leaned back against the wall, absentmindedly stroking Sylvia's head as he waited for everyone to come back.

Widow suddenly woke up and heard a howling. She woke everybody up and said. "We need to hide I think they found us!" She took her two puppies and melted into the shadows.

Sylvia woke up, and helped Leo over to the shadows of the cave, hoping that they wouldn't be found.

Sylvia didn't know what else to do, so she stayed back by Leo and got ready to fight if need be.

"What exactly is it that's ours?" Sylvia asked.

"Dart stay here with the pups Miles is right we need to fight for our rights we don't deserve to have to fight for our life every time we turn a corner. Lets FIGHT!!!!!!!!!" Widow dashed out and leaped onto a guard she scratched his throat and felt the warm sticky blood on her paw right before he fell down and died.

Sylvia watched in horror as it all went down, refusing to kill anyone. "This is wrong." She said.

Widow did the same to all of them except the last one who caught her by surprise she had done a quick count before but she had figured he had run away. The wolf jumped out of nowhere and landed on her back. He scratched her throat and leaped off luckily she was so small so it wasn't deep but it still hurt so much it felt like 1000 bees stinging her in the same place. She fell down and didn't get up. At this Dart dashed out and caught the guard by surprise. He slashed his throat and said this while slowly killing him " I hope you go to the fields of punishment in the underworld!" Afterwards Dart helped Widow into the tree. She gurgled "Thank you." Then passed out.

Sylvia walked over to Widow and nudged her with her nose. "Wake up." She murmured.

Widow started snoring so Dart left her alone. He went out to hunt and came back a few minutes later with a fat deer. "Eat up peeps."

Widow lazily got up and started eating. "Yay, meat!" Both puppies said.

Sylvia walked over to the deer and took a huge bite. When she was done, she tore off another big piece and gave it to Leo. "Here, have this." She said. Leo took it gratefully and began eating ravenously.

"We should leave soon." Sylvia said. "Otherwise we'll just attract more attention."

After they had all eaten their share Widow, Dart and the pups fell asleep.

Sylvia and Leo finished eating, and Sylvia got up. "Leo and I are leaving." She said. "If you're coming, then let's go."

"Heh? Oh! Okay! Get up Dart, get up pups. Time to go."

Sylvia nodded and led the way out of the den, Leo following close behind. She knew exactly where to go, as she had considered leaving many times in her five years of living in this disgusting place. She refused to go out of her wolf form though, as she was more used to this form than her human one. She wondered if she would be able to make the journey without painful memories. She pushed the thought away and continued on. Leo knew something was troubling Sylvia, but he dared not ask. She would probably deny it anyway.

Sylvia knew that Miles and Leo would ask her time and time again if she didn't answer, so she sighed and said, "I'm just worried that I won't feel a need to come back after we leave." She said. "Other than the five years I spent here, my entire life was far beyond this city."

"And I'd much rather be in one of those places than where we are now." Sylvia said. "But something's telling me that I'll be back here before I go back home." She paused before saying, "We're almost at the edge of the city's border."

"Thanks, Miles," Sylvia said, smiling. As they finally went past the border of the wolf city, Sylvia saw what she had come through to get where she was once again. The forests were dark and desolate, but there was a light beyond the forest. "That way." She said, going a little faster.

When Sylvia emerged from the forest, she realized that she was going the right way because she remembered this place vividly from her memories. She could actually see sunlight for the first time in a while, and there were walls on either side of her, large and somewhat cliff-like. She knew that this was the path to Leo's hometown.

Widow had Ginger on her back hanging on for dear life and Dart had Ghost on his back doing the same.

"There won't be much prey, so we'll have to conserve our energy." Sylvia said. "And I only low of one place to get water."

"We'll us wolves and I think werewolves can lope all day long but I'm having my doubts about Leo."

"We can walk as long as we don't run into any trouble." Sylvia said. "It'll take two days anyway unless you don't plan on stopping to eat or sleep."

"As long as every morning I get to scout around." Exclaimed Widow.

"That's fine." Sylvia said. "Just don't go too far." "Now let's go."

"Alright."

Sylvia knew they would have to find a place to stay for the night, but she would worry about that later.
