Arendor struggles to remain calm as Kaitlyn says what she says. She knew nothing about his life. Sweat falls down his face as he tries his best to contain his rage. He is losing the fight and with a bellow of rage he sends the two of them flying.

"You know nothing!" He uses wind to get them back on their feet and correct the desks. Then he marches out of the room, without another word. However in the madness, a beautiful necklace falls to the ground and slides under a desk. The necklace is a simple silver chain with a white cross in the center. Across the cross is a single name Jesera.

Libra was quite confused by this guy's reaction. That certainly wasn't calming down at all. Quite the opposite.
"What's up with him?" she grumbled, walking over to Kaitlyn and Arviti. She looked at the two, "Are you both alright?"
'Jeeze, is everyone here like him?' though Libra, hoping that wasn't true. He was a little weird.
"Wait, challenge him?" her voice sounded like Kaitlyn had just suggested she eat a tapeworm, "We're only C-class, and newbies. I don't even think I know how to use magic. And don't we each need one of those fancy staffs first? ...Well, except Arviti I guess?"

"I....I don't know." Arviti answered Kaitlyn. "I was just.....so angry......." He frowned, trying to explain the best he could. "I'm not sure challenging him would be the brightest idea. It was kind of my own fault anyway." He sighed, getting back up and brushing himself off. "True, we probably could take him on. I mean, give me something sharp and I'll stick it up that pompous butt of his." Arviti grinned.

"Well we should probably wait a couple days to get our bearings here." Libra suggested, tilting her head a bit to the side, "Then we can go and do the whole challenge thing. And while we're waiting we can ask around about this guy, too. Find out what he does."

"Oh, nothing." Libra replied, "We just got the target offa' Arviti's hand. Then some guy walked in, called himself Arendor." She looked at Luna , and asked, "What does he even do, anyway?"

Solum had heard some noises that caught his attention. It sounded like trouble, but things seemed to have quieted down a bit now. He wondered if he should go check it out. It was probably nothing to worry about too much. Besides, he was currently busy with a new student, and couldn't just leave him alone.

"...oh. Hey, I noticed both you and that guy and just about everyone in this school is carrying a staff around. Do we really need those to cast spells?" Libra frowned a little, "They seem a bit bulky and unnecessary... And if gets taken away you can't do anything with magic! It's really a bit weird if you need a staff all the time."

"Oh, okay. It would've been sort of annoying if we had to carry staffs around to do anything at all!" Libra brightened a bit, "Well, the magic classrooms seem pretty alright. What next?"

"Where do we get our staves?" Arviti asked.

A group of C-class mages are talking to one another. Anyone close enough can catch the drift of their conversation. It involves Arendor and his painful past.

"I can't believe that one mage acted the way he did, Arendor only was trying to help, says one. I know right and then they go so far as to say what they said. Arendor's past is one of great loss and untold pain. His one and only family member that he knew, his sister, died in his arms. He still carries her necklace with him wherever he goes. That's how precious she is and was to him."

Dekka brushed a strand of hair off her face, still smiling and began to copy and answer the questions. She briefly wondered what sort of magic Maxxi could do. Maybe electricity? No, that didn't seem right. She started going through all the types of magic she knew as her pencil hovered above the paper.

i might as well practice my magic here ray thought, since she was in the magic skills room an all. the end of her staff started to glow a pale blue as she started using her moon element

Arviti frowned. "Aww man...and we don't even get tested until two weeks from now!" Arviti groaned.

"Mmrf....I thought you said school doesn't start until a week from now." Arviti sighed.

"Oh, the gym? We've already kinda' seen outside a bit." Libra shrugged. She didn't care much about when everything was started. So long as she was told how to use magic, who cared how fast it started?

Arviti sighed. "Darn....and I still don't understand any of this." He sighed, picking up his books again and hurrying along.

As they go about their business they see no sign of Arendor, but they get many angry glances as they pass through the halls. Then they come across a hallway with a single door. The symbol of a fist clenching lighting glows on the door.

"Book." Arviti sighed, showing her his book on what seemed to be The Technical Scientific Guide to Understanding Magic, by Llevel Raindor

Arviti frowned. "What? Well, I thought I'd do some studying because most of these people here probably already know magic or have some sort of background of magic whereas I don't."

"Magic is just magic and I'd leave it at that." laughed Libra, skipping around the tables and towards to door, "Otherwise your head is going to explode trying to understand it. It's our first day, after all!"

"I guess but....." He looked kinda unsure. He walked along with Libra, ignoring most of the others' glances.

"I guess I'll take your word for it then." He smiled faintly, continuing to follow them to the gym room.

OOC: Ok I changed his story, his story is unknown.

Dekka guessed there was 20 minutes or so left until the class finished. The element of ice came to mind. Hmm... Maybe... she tried to visualise Maxxi using the element, No.... She shook her head, realising she had stopped writing a few minutes ago and was in the middle of the last word for her current question.
"Oops..." She whispered as she finished.

ooc: And not to mention Wyrstel, that you were controlling NPC's as well as our characters. No no.

Personality: Kaidia is a tough and stubborn little kid. She tends to act as if she doesn't need help and often turns away those who try to help her. She also tends to hide when she's feeling sad or insecure, showing very little of her true feelings. She is very loyal to and protective of her friends and family.
History: Kaidia grew up in a family of mages, which she loved dearly. Being the youngest child she wasn't allowed to practice magic until she came of age. Thus, she normally was left at a friends house when ever her family would go out to practice, or anything of the sort. One day around a year ago none of her family members came back. Everyone of her family members aside from her grandmother had perished in a 'tragic accident'. Kaidia was never allowed at the funeral, nor was she allowed to know anything about what killed everyone dear to her. In the year before coming to the academy, she lived with her grandmother how taught her bits and pieces about the magic she has the ability to wield.

Other: The 'tattoos' on her chest aren't for show. Although she doesn't know it, they are seals on her magical power. They've been there for as long as she can remember, so she doesn't question it. She carries two staffs with her, her own training staff and her mother's staff.

Arviti blinked. "So.....are we there yet?" He asked casually.

Dekka finished the questions as fast as possible so she and Maxxi could talk some more.
"So," she turned to face the boy.

"So, uh... How's it... going?" She asked not sure what else to say, she wasn't very good at breaking awkward moments.

"Just fine," Dekka smiled a little, "Don't you just hate awkward moments?"

Arviti boldly strode into the room, looking at all the equipment. To his disappointment, most of this equipment was tailored for magic users. They had to rely on magical strength, not physical ones. Oh well....

Arviti went over to one of the targets.

Libra had been tagging along behind Luna and Arviti, sort of thinking about things that were completely unrelated to magic and the academy. Like jellyfish. What was up with those things?
Libra nearly tripped when she entered the gym, barely catching herself and getting her balance back.
"...Oh, we're here." she realized quietly, and looked around at the room. Fairly standard, for a magic gym, she wasn't exactly surprised by it or anything.
