It's not that she doesn't like baths, it's that she has to take them more than once a day due to constantly getting covered body liquids. Mainly tears, blood, and .... blood. X3

Well, you see, there's not an actual "group". We use to word "group" as a way to say "our small circle of close friends that we're very open and happy to be around". So to ask to join the group really can't happen. You have to earn your way in.

Anyway, what Origin Rianua looks like with her mask ... removed. A painful action, but she guesses she trusts us enough to show us. She hopes you won't look at her too differently now. Well, time to put the mask back on ... And to feel the pain that comes with it.

Well, the mask is what happened to her face.


The mask is an enchanted mask. The mask was a tool for punishing the Origins when they did something what the owner/keeper disliked. The masks were enchanted to inflict pain onto the wearer. The more of the face the mask covers, the more pain.
The Origin's eyes and the fur on the area where the mask is applied are usually removed before burning the mask on. If the slave struggles, they injure the face of the victim. They then burn the mask onto the skin.

Size - Pain Level

Eyes + bridge of the nose - about a year of constant torture
Eyes + forehead - about ten years of constant torture
Forehead, eyes, and nose (like Rianua's) - about one hundred years of constant torture
Full Face - about one thousand years of constant torture
Full Face + one ear - about ten thousand years of consatnt torture
Full head (both ears) - constant torture all the time

Yeah, it's unpleasant ...

She made mistakes. They worked her too hard, so she tended to drop loads that were too heavy and things like that. They saw that as laziness, so they punished her.

But the good news is that she's hard to inflict pain on. I mean, each time she wants to clean her face in that form she has to suffer about 100 years of pain in about 1.5 seconds.
