I've just been sort of fooling around with some different effects and such. All of these are the same picture, just in various styles.
Here's the original:





And here's one that I did as a 'frosty' type style.





Now this is one with a nice cool green glowing effect added. Looks mysterious.. O.o





Lastly, here's a sweet blue neon style. Kinda reminds me of electric sparks.

Once again I apologize for my lack of art-ness, I've been so busy these days it isn't even funny..

Artness should be in the dictonary.. Its just that awesome.

Artness---The act and idea of producing art. Yesh.

Had this idea, and just couldn't let it slip.
Here are 10 American mythical creatures, and their bios are below the pic. I've always been fascinated by these kinds of things.





Let's start with the brown upright creature that's by the trees. He's the Jersey Devil.
The Jersey Devil- This creature has been spotted in the pinelands of New Jersey. It has been described as being a kangaroo-like creature with a dog/horse head. It has large deer antlers, and a pair of huge black devilish wings. Its eyes are described to illuminate bright red. Its calls are loud hisses and snarls.

Next, the large black bird.
Thunderbird- Seen in Southwest US. It is claimed to be seen as a giant black sillhouette of a massive bird, with sparkling wings. Its the size of a small airplane.

Next, the golden dragon with the feathered wings in the center.
Piasa bird- My favorite American myth creature. Its home was relatively close to where I live. It was a giant dragon-like animal with the wings and feet of an eagle, large antlers, and a lion-like head. It had a tail so long that it wrapped around its body, and at the end of the tail it was shaped like a fish's. It flew in the skies, snatching cattle from farmers' pastures.

Now locate the black cat thing ON LAND.
The Ozark Howler- Another creature seen around my home. It is a very LARGE cougar-ish animal, who howls eerie death calls in the night. Its fur is as black as the night sky.

See that odd thing way in the back there?
Owlman- A truly hideous creature found in Texas that most resembles an owl, bear and man mixed. Witnesses have seen it hovering above churches and standing in cemetaries. It gives loud screeching noises.

Now focus on the bat.
Batsquatch- A giant purple bat with bashing red eyes, seen in Washington, US. When Mt. Saint Helens erupted in 1980, this creature was seen hovering in the shadows of clouds from the eruptions. Some witnesses were able to get photos. Its appetite consists of goats, chickens and calves.

Next, the bright white figure.
The Snallygaster- Seen in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Maryland. It is half-bird and half-reptile, with a ghostly appearance. Has been seen lurking in barns and stealing livestock.

Now the alligator thing in the lake.
Champ- The monster in Lake Champlaign that resembles the Loch Ness monster. It is described as a plesiosaur and a serpent mixed.

See that wolf in the foreground?
Beast of Bray Road- Also called the 'Wisconsin Werewolf'. Its been seen chowing down on roadkill in the night. It has been described as a large burly wolf/man with three long claws on each hand.

Lastly, the cat in the water.
Mishipzhiw- Also called the 'Underwater Panther'. It lurks underwater in lakes. It has dark fur with a spiked back. It traps its victims with its long tail.

So there you have it, 10 of the most fearsome American mythical animals. :3

So today I feel like utter crap... Sore throat, cough, feels like I'm just going to die any minute... That's the problem with a small school--if one kid gets sick, the whole school does.. Even the teachers are sick. Anyway, as I was driving to school today it was insanely foggy out, couldn't even see a couple feet ahead of me! And then, after I got out of that, I saw the most depressing thing-- there was a little fluffy white and tan puppy dead on the side of the road.. :'C It was sooo cute and sad!! I started to cry.. So yeah.. That was a lovely way to start out the day--then, it gets worse by this kid constantly stalking me.. THEN when I got home we had to go through my Grandpa's old stuff, and we found some--ahem--pretty interesting things haha.. There was a whole drawer of coins that had swastikas on them!.. Well, considering my family history, there's no real mystery how that probably happened.. Anyway, my family kept fighting over who got the coins, it was pretty funny. Then we fought over some RPGs, and other random stuff we found in his 'secret' closet.. SO!.. That was my rant/story of the day... Good night, I'm going to take some Ibuprofen, eat a bowl of Reese's Puffs and go to bed.
