Chapter 14

Mellina and Gadzooks didn’t say anything for a moment…and then- “Four elements!” Mellina yelled. “Oh, I’m so proud!” and then that was the point when Mellina squeezed Malefor to death. “That’s so cool!” Gadzooks added. “Wow! Your such a awesome dragon, Malefor. I’m glad that you’re my brother.” that had really touched Malefor’s slowly darkening heart. “Aww…go on, you two, give each other a hug.” their mother purred. She let go of Malefor and the two brothers hugged. “Thanks Gadzooks, you’re the best brother I’ve had…and the only brother I’ve ever had.” Malefor added. “…don’t find the corruption, young dragon, or else you shall suffer the same fate…” Rapture’s words echoed in Malefor’s mind, making a shiver crawl up his spine. (lol that rhymed )
But what is the corruption? So what if I consume everything- okay, that is bad…Rapture consumed almost everything, didn’t he? And he’s still alive…but he did say he was slowly dying…but what is the corruption? Malefor’s head was ringing with questions. “Are you alright, Malefor?” he heard his little brother squeak. Malefor blinked. “Yeah, I’m fine…” he let go of Gadzooks, and stared out one of the Temple’s windows. It was pouring down with rain, thunder crashing in the sky. “Um…maybe you should go play with Ignitus and the others? I bet their dying to see you.” Mellina smiled. Yeah, but not Cyril. Malefor thought glumly.

“Hey, look, it’s Malefor!”
Malefor looked up to see all his friends running towards him.
“How was Warfang?”
“What does it look like?”
“Can you breathe electricity?”
Malefor raised his paw. “Please, just one question at a time…” “So can you breathe electricity?” Volteer squeaked. Malefor nodded. “Yeah, surprisingly, I can…yeah.” he replied. Zaria’s, Amber’s, Silver’s, Fireheart’s mouths gaped open. “Really!?” they all said at the same time. Malefor nodded. “That’s amazing.” Ignitus added. “Yeah, well, your mother’s a electricity dragon, so there’s no surprises there…” Terrador said. While everyone was talking, Malefor craned his neck to see Cyril and his sister, Crystal, sitting by themselves. Cyril glanced at Malefor and glared at him. Malefor looked away. Shesh, what’s his problem?

“You think your so special, don’t you?” Cyril snapped. Malefor whipped his head around. “What?” he asked. Amber, Zaria, Ignitus and the other dragons parted from Malefor and looked at Cyril. “What are you doing Cyril?” Amber asked. Cyril ignored her. “Yeah, you think you are the most powerful dragon in the world…showing off all your powers, your just a stupid snob.” Crystal nodded. “Yeah, and you smell really bad.” Smell really bad?
Cyril glared at his sister. “Stay out of this,” he hissed, and then padded up to Malefor. “But really, your just a weak little hatchling, with no common sense, or brains.” Cyril spat. That really made Malefor angry. “Well, what I think, your just a stupid little brat!” he roared, and lashed out at Cyril with razor-sharp claws. Cyril jerked back, and wailed, with blood splattering everywhere. “Cyril!” Crystal yelled. All the other dragons gasped. “Malefor, what are you doing!?” Terrador roared. But Malefor ignored him, and flamed Cyril with fire. Cyril screeched in pain as the flames burnt his scales. “Malefor, stop!” Ignitus cried, and raced in front of Malefor. “I know that Cyril is stupid, but you don’t have to hurt him!” Malefor stared at Ignitus, with fire in his eyes. Ignitus slowly backed away. “Malefor…please, look at what you’ve done.” Ignitus pleaded. Malefor looked down at Cyril. Cyril was covered in blood, his scales burnt, and the tips of his wings were singed. “Malefor, you idiot!” Crystal snarled, and slapped Malefor with her tail. Malefor pushed Crystal away, and bit Cyril’s hind leg. Cyril wailed, and clawed Malefor’s belly. He winced in pain, but still held his teeth in Cyril’s leg. Malefor then held up Cyril with his teeth and smacked Cyril hard on the ground. “Stop! Please, stop!” Cyril wailed, but Malefor didn’t.

Malefor felt dark magic pulsing from his veins and body. Somehow, it felt right. It felt what he had been waiting for all his life. The corruption. Even though Rapture had warned him about it, Malefor had ignored him. And this almost cost Cyril’s life. He looked down at Cyril, a red pool of blood around him. His tips of his wings were singed, a giant bite mark on his leg, where Malefor had bit him, and gashes and cuts all over his face and body. “Why…?” Cyril croaked. Crystal shoved Malefor over and rushed to her injured brother. “Cyril! Noooo! Cyril, please, it’s okay, your going to be okay.” she said, licking his wounds. Ignitus and the other young dragons looked at Malefor, shocked. “How…could you?” Zaria hissed. “You almost killed him!”
“I can’t believe Malefor did that!”
“Malefor, why did you!?”
“MALEFOR!”
Malefor glared at the other dragons, his scales turning black, and his eyes turning white, with no pupils. The other dragons froze, and even Crystal stopped licking Cyril. “Stop!” Malefor roared, his voice changed. “Malefor, what's happened to you!?” Ignitus cried.

Chapter 15

Malefor couldn’t stop. He felt energy seeping into his paws…was this it? The corruption?… he couldn’t hear anything, only the dark whispering voices in his mind…
“Yes, that’s it…let the corruption eat away…let it consume you…”
Malefor whipped his head around. He could see his mother and brother racing towards him, not to mention other dragons such as Cyril and Crystal’s parents and the Guardians. He could see that they were all yelling at him, and crowding over Cyril. He could see the shocked expression on his mother’s face, and the horrified look of Gadzooks.

Malefor was forced to an exile. Away from the Temple, away from all his friends and family…he had almost killed Cyril after all, and was too dangerous to be around anybody. Not even Mellina or Gadzooks were allowed to go with him.
Malefor flew far, far away, as far as his wings would allow him to go.
He came across a dark looking mountain, and decided that he would live there. He didn’t know why, but it somehow was calling him…somehow it felt right, for the first time in Malefor’s young life, he finally felt like he was at home.

I'm sorry you guys have been waiting for so long! Here's some more.

After many years, Malefor learned a new breath, know as Convexity (as Rapture had said), which was his strongest power yet. He also learned how to harness the power of the gems, his own kinds life source, and crafted them into Apes. Savage, fearsome, apes. He created one special Ape, who would be known as the King of the Apes, known as Gaul. Gaul would take care of the Apes and keep them in top shape. Malefor was planning to create a whole army of Apes and destroy the Temple with them. But there was a reason why he was doing this. Only at the Year Of the Dragon, (once there had been a 10th generation gone by), another purple dragon would be born. Malefor had to destroy the new baby purple dragon, (not to mention all the other innocent baby dragons), because Malefor feared that the next purple dragon might be even stronger than himself.

One day, when Malefor was sitting at the top of the Mountain of Malefor, (he had named the mountain himself), he heard a large cracking sound, as if the mountain itself was dissolving right in front of him. He felt the ground shift between his paws. Malefor spread out his wings and soared up into the sky before the mountain could collapse. Hmm…maybe I should cut down on the cream cakes, Malefor thought to himself, and stared at the gaping hole he had made. But this was no ordinary hole, although Malefor didn’t realize this, this hole would soon become his next prison…


Chapter 16

Several years later, Malefor was captured in a gateway know as Convexity, a gateway to the dark realms and beyond. Now at this time, it was almost the Year of the Dragon, and Malefor knew that a new purple dragon was on it’s way. He sent Gaul to destroy the Temple at once, and every other living dragon in it. But he also needed a dragon. Their was only one dragon in the whole universe that was able to free him. And that was the black dragon. Malefor needed a black dragon to free him from Convexity, even though Gaul had tried to free him himself, the Ape King had failed countless times before. Malefor had instructed Gaul to corrupt the young black dragon, and command it to destroy and kill, even destroy the place where it had been born. Although the black dragon wouldn’t know this, it would only know how to kill, fight, destroy, and free Malefor from Convexity. All Malefor had to do was wait.

Malefor named the black dragoness Cynder, terror of the skies. Malefor’s personal little puppet. He commanded Cynder to reek havoc across the realms, and epically the Temple, and imprison the four new Guardians- Ignitus, Volteer, Cyril and Terrador- on far away islands. Cynder managed to get all of them, but she could never find Ignitus. This frustrated Malefor and Gaul, but Malefor just told Cynder to search harder for Ignitus. Cynder needed all four of the Guardians powers to free Malefor from his prison, but she couldn’t because Ignitus was hidden away somewhere where Cynder would never find him…
But now Cynder and Gaul ruled all, but Malefor was still trapped in Convexity…but he had a new name now, and that was the Dark Master.

12 years had past, and the word had gotten round that there was a new purple dragon- and his name was Spyro. This made Malefor furious, because he had instructed Gaul to smash all the dragon eggs but Cynder’s…but he was also afraid, because this little dragon may even be stronger and more powerful than Malefor himself…and Malefor knew what Spyro was capable of doing.
But Malefor was preparing himself, and waiting till the day when he would come face-to-face with Spyro, and he would be ready.
