Ki walked over to the figure slowly "Are you ok?" He asked

Kihei flew over and landed next to Varedis

"Don't get too close! I sense a large quantity of energy," Shadow warned Ki.

Varedis walked slowly into the light and became visible, he then approached the figure but stopped when he felt a whining in his ears that came from the high energy levels,

"I'll be fine" Ki said before looking at the figure closely "Who is this?" He thought

"Hmm..." Gabe mused, as he sniffed the air. "It kinda smells like a cat, although I didn't meet one while in the lab... they kinda kept me separate from everyone."

"Is she the sorce of the scream?" asked Varedis.

"It would make sense I guess," Shadow replied, "is there any way we can stop the light?"

"Are you ok?" He asked the figure

Kihei looked around "If we found the source of the light, we could stop it" He said

Pilila looked at Bimcal, neither knew what to do.

Shadow noticed that the cat was holding something.
"It looks as if it's coming from the stone," he said.

((We should wait until Fury's character does something))

Silvara screamed again.

Ura flew down, still forest green. "Let me protect you," she said, voice still echoing soothingly. A green bubble surrounded her and the others, Ura glowing green at the centre. "It's not every day a goddess guides you."

Pilila blinked, did she just hear that right?

Bimcal adjusted his position, not sure what to make of this

Silvara slowly rose into the air, the stone still attached to her paw.

"May you find comfort in the woods you now roam. The goddess of the forest is with you." Ura seemed to fade, the bubble becoming more green.

"Ura wait!" Ki yelled "I've always liked you..." He said, saddened by her fading away

Kihei walked over to Silvara "Are you ok ma'am?" He asked

Kumara and Shadow didn't know what to say. They had no idea Ura possessed this amount of energy.

"Wait, a Goddess?" Gabe asked, completely in shock at what was happening.

Varedis stopped and stared at the space where Ura had been, "What the f................ What just happened?" he said, as his jaw dropped.

Ura opened her eyes to see a vast starry void. "Welcome. We have been waiting a long time." Ura turned towards the source of the voice. "Who's there?" she called.

Silvara was slowly lowered again and the light faded. "What just happened?"

*Ura isn't dead by the way.*

"I don't think we know any more than you, to be honest" Gabe said, still in his chimera form as he approached Silvara. "You okay?" he asked, informally.

Kihei looked around "Shadow, this is strange" He said

Ki was crying as he fell to his knees "She's gone..." He thought

"Starshine and snowfalls!" Winterra exclaimed. "What just happened?"

Pilila and Bimcal were speachless.

Ki felt a pat on one of his shoulders, as Gabe knelt down to comfort him.

Ki turned around and pulled Gabe into a hug

"She seemed to have been possessed by some sort of spirit," Shadow noted as he recalled Ura speaking differently than usual.

Varedis approached Silvara, "Are you OK?" he asked

Gabe looked around awkwardly as he returned the hug, not expecting it. "It... it'll get better." he said, patting Ki on the back with his clawed, furry hand. "I'm not sure how, but... we're still alive, we're still out of that lab, we've got rations, water... we're gonna make it. This is real, and we're gonna make it..." he said, his voice becoming more panicked as it started to sink in... this was his life now. Even with the others, he'd still have to fend for himself in the wilderness, on the run from those wretched scientists. "We... we're gonna make it. We have to."

"Ok buddy" Ki said

"Well, we should find shelter before anything else" Kihei said

"We have been waiting for the right moment, and it arrived. I had to control your physical body, and sacrifice it so that you could come here." Ura looked around again, until she spotted a forest green dragon. "But where am I?" she asked. "I understand what happened, but where am I?" The green dragon laughed, her voice almost like a melody. "You will see," she said. "In due time. You may transmit one message to your friends throught Silvara, but I cannot guarantee she will recite it word for word." Ura nodded and told her the message.

Silvara went over and twined her tail around Ki's leg. "Ura would want us to keep going, wouldn't she? She wouldn't want us to falter. We have to find a town where we can make trade. Or at least, those of us who volunteer to become human will. Gabe, those cellphones from earlier might help out a lot. Don't ask how I know about them, it will all be explained later. Just move! Try to find civilization before morning. Also, Fauna should cpme too. Quickly!"

Pilila blinked, and followed Silvara, as did Bimcal; both were confused and shocked.

Ura stared at the green dragon. "What's going on?" she asked. The dragon smiled and said, "You are our messenger. We are the gods. You cannot call upon our power, but yu can ask for it. You were used before by Yroe, goddess of war. I am Xaki, goddess of peace. We need you to find Zingada, the city of dragons. Upon arrival, send a prayer to me. I will give you a gift then. Good luck, Ura." There was a flash of bright light and ura was somewhere she didn't recognize.

(Where are we going to find a city of dragons in modern-day Earth?)

"You're right, lets get going" Ki said as he got up

"Yeah, but where do we go?" Kihei asked

Gabe opened his bag, digging through until he found the various smartphones contained within. "The battery life of these isn't unlimited, so we should have only one or two on at a time... I'm not sure whose is whose, though." His bestial features started to retract, becoming less chimeric, and more strictly lupine, as he shifted his form more towards that of a werewolf. "I trust you guys enough to not hurt me now, too."

know I won't be doing any trading..." Shadow mumbled, annoyed at the thought of changing back to human form just to tade.

Varedis didn't mind, "I don't mind doing the trading," he called out.

"Where do we go? I don't think anyone wants us in their town" Kihei said

Ki smiled "I wouldn't hurt you anyway Gabe" He said

Curious to how Ki knew his name, Gabe started looking all over his effects, trying to find anything that had his name on it. he noticed a papery plastic strip secured around his wrist, which had miraculously not ripped when he shapeshifted. His name and medical information from the experiments was clearly visible, before he tore the strip right off. "Right, I completely forgot to introduce myself. The name's Gabe Fazbear, although I'm really not anyone special."

"I'm Varedis, pleased to meet you," Varedis said, extending a hand.

"My name is Pilila." The green griffiness said.

"I am Bimcal, a snake with wings." Bimcal wished hedidn't have amnesia.

"Oh, so you're a Quetzalcoatl?" Gabe asked Bimcal, wondering if he had any Mesoamerican roots, before turning to shake Varedis's hand. "I'm a werecreature as well, but I'm ... er... not quite sure what to call myself. A chimera, maybe?"

(Bimcal doesn't exactly have any relation to Quetzalcoatls, he's been inspired by the yugioh card "Siniter Serpent".)

"I would not know, I have amnesssia." Bimcal sighed.

Varedis was confused, "What's a Quetzelcoatl?"

"That's not true, you're special" Ki said

"Huh? Oh, the Quetzelcoatl is a feathered snake deity worshiped in Mesoamerican cultures. You know, Aztecs, Mayans..." Gabe said, trying to recall what he could about the term. "I really think that, aside from the shifting, I'm just like anyone else, an average joe... no better at anything than you guys."

Bimcal looked at his feathered wings, "Perhapsss."

Silvara flicked her tail and began to walk away, shifting back as she did so.

Ura looked around. She was in a city, where a temple stood in the center. She went inside and found a statue of a mere human (much like herself at the moment) piercing a dragon's scales with a lance of some sort. The plaque read "Hero's Victory" in bold black lettering. Ura stared at it in horror. She was behind enemy lines.

"So, you're sure there's a town that way?" Gabe asked, jumping forward a bit to keep up with Silvara. Despite his now lupine appearance, he retained a friendly demeanor, even in these trying circumstances. "Hey, anyone need some water? I've got a few bottles, and we can prolly fill up in town."

Ki tried to go human, but couldn't "Great... I'm stuck like this for now, not that I mind" He said

"There should be a town up ahead," Silvara said. "We can stock up on provisions. Maybe sell those cellphones. They might be worth enough to buy something that may not seem important, but will be needed. Ki, come with us. You can stay hidden, can't you?"

Ura turned to see a group of people holding spears. "We can't let you stay," one said. They all took off their normal clothing like snakes shedding their skins to reveal lab coats filled with serums. "You're actually quite easy to recognize," the leader said to Ura, tapping the amulet around her neck. "This gives you away. The mark of the Dragon Gods." With an expert twist of his hand the scientist snapped the cord holding the amulet up. Ura stared in horror as he took it towards the exit. The other scientists barred her path. "No!" she cried. "You can't do this! Give me my amulet!" The scientist waved a hand and Ura was shot by a wave of tranquilizer darts. "No..." Ura whispered as she collapsed. One scientist took out a phone and called someone. "Yes, we've got her. We're taking her to the backup lab now.
