OOC: Someone else recap? I would need to re-read, cus I just got caught up myself.

"I remember some particularly intense physical pains in my dream when whatever attacked me ripped me to shreds. You might want someone who can heal to go into your next one, or if anyone else goes in they may want that too."

Ki hugged Rosa after hearing what she said "You poor thing" He said "If this was Inception, I would go deeper and kick their Exmortis butts"

I smile and look at Ki," You know...going in after them isn't a bad idea. Do you wanna go in with me and someone else maybe and see what we can do as a group?" I wag my tail excitedly but slowly as to show calmness at the idea of a fight I can actually win.

"Trust me, I would if I could, but the only way to do that is to use Austin's teleporter, unfortunately it doesn't work quite right" Ki said

"I see..." I ponder any sort of solution, but none comes immediately to mind for me.

"Maybe, we can get it to work right" Ki said as he let go of Rosa "Come on guys, let's go back to my place" He said as he started heading home

I take flight and follow along, circling the group closely from above as I think to myself of something that could help fix it. I call out,"I know of a few people who could help us fix it up, but they're mostly indisposed or completely evil. I mean, if we can convince one of them, he may help us, but he's not someone I'd trust.

"And who would that be" Ki asked as he got home and went inside "Austin! You here!" He yelled

"I'm in the basement" Austin yelled up

I glide down and walk in behind Ki,"His name is Goya. He's among the Goyain, the 5 who beat Exmortis the first time (or at least as I was told did so). He was originally their most honest and pure heart-ed member apparently, but blah blah blah demon stuff happened, now he's got two rival split personalities. If his body is weakened while the evil half is dominant it does go into hibernation, but that's extremely unlikely. My master is the only person who has ever successfully pulled that off to my knowledge." I nod,"He's a heartless monster and I'd rather not get his help if we can avoid it, but the option IS there."

"Well, if we need to get this Goya person, so be it" Ki said as he went down into the basement "Hey Austin, what is Pyre doing here!" He yelled, shocked at the sight of the ender fox

"Hey buddy, don't hurt her, she's not a threat" Austin said to calm his friend down

"Let's try to think of some other solutions first. He's a last resort, keep that in mind."

"Other solutions to what" Austin asked

"Don't try to change the subject, how did Pyre get here, and why is she translucent" Ki asked

"Stupid teleporter, that's why she's translucent" Austin responded

"That's just what we're wanting to fix. We do have a last resort to turn to if nothing else works, but again, last LAST resort. He is not to be called in unless we need him." I make sure the seriousness of my tone shines through as I restate for the hundredth time the importance of another avenue.

Austin got up and stood next to the teleporter and kicked it "Don't ask why, but kicking it usually fixes it" He said as the machine spured and clicked

"You mean like most of your inventions" Ki laughed

"Very funny, that should make Pyre tangible again in moments" Austin said to the others

"Good, at least that's good. So...who's dream are we going to go into first, guys?"

"Well you see buddy, we're not going into a person's dream, we're going into the dream world" Ki said

"It's not safe to go in there, the dream world is a dangerous place where everyone's favorite dreams and worst nightmares live" Austin mentioned

"That's why I'm going first. If it's dangerous I can keep myself alive until you can drag me out." I suggest.

"I'm not letting you go in there" Austin said "I went in there once and it was crawling with nightmares, you see the teleporter sends you to the same coordinates as the teleporter is in our world, and in the dream world, it's right in the middle of the nightmare's side" He elaborated

"That's why we can't go in there until we're absolutely ready" Ki pointed out

"Well, whenever you guys are prepared, tell me. I've been to war and seen what havok is upon a landscape, so I should be fine in terms of shock, so I believe I should head in first when we're ready." I suggest, plopping down on a chair and yawning before starting to play with my tail.

"Fine then buddy" Ki said as he looked over at Austin and Pyre "Austin, why did you bring Pyre into our world"

"Ki, I love her" Austin said as he sat next to Pyre

"Why didn't you listen to Lotus's warning" Ki asked

The desert. A cruel wasteland where only the hardy could grow. It certainly made one thirsty. There was a nice oasis up ahead.

After what seemed like days of traveling, Sangris finally made it to the edge. He leaned down and took a few swigs - however, the water started to bubble soon after. Before he knew it, some formless beast jumped out, its eyes full of murderous intent.

Well, he wasn't going to run away this time. He would fight it, and he would kill it. He let out a mighty roar...

...and woke up. His heart was racing, and he was full or energy and rage - he might have actually roared out loud, from the signs of it. Calm down...

He came down from off the roof to see the others.

[Holy crap, you got far without me. Recap?]

Alas, Pyre still remained intangible. "It's not the teleporter. It's me. I can only arrive in the real world as a vision of myself. In order to take a physical form, I'd need to possess somebody, or..." She pauses to look at Austin shiftily. "...take the place of somebody else."

"So, how about it, babe? Will you take my place in the dream world for me?" Pyre asked Austin persuasively.

[I'm afraid I'm just as lost as you. ; All I know is that Rosa's dream is becoming more intense, and Pyre revealed how she can come to be in the real world.]

((Recap? BTW I'm leaving for a week long camp tomorrow without internet. Don't go too far without me!))

(We're planning to go into a dream as a team to see what we can do, since the teleporter was just fixed.)

Sangris came down from the roof, in search of the others.

After finding them, he asks "What are you doing? I wasn't able to sleep..."

"Austin, this is exactly what Lotus warned" Ki said as he saw Sangris "Austin used his teleporter to bring Pyre into our world and she wants him to take her place in the dream world" He explained to the dragon

"Pyre, as much as I would love to, I can't, the whole reason I brought you back to this world is so we could spend time together, what if I make you a body to possess, that way you can become tangible" Austin said to Pyre "I hope she lets me try" He thought

OOC: So are we in the dream world now or later????????

I was sitting in a chair, bored. "What are we doing again?" I asked when I yawned.

Rose stepped in calmer now after all that had happened and questioned Austin, "And where will you find a suitable body, because I won't allow a disgrace to nature be created? I stand true to the belief that life is at a balance at it is, or how it was until this happened." Rose finished glancing at the ground nostalgically thinking of her days of proper restful sleep.

"I'm going to make a robot for her to possess" Austin said

I start to drift off, trying to keep myself awake as I lay there.

"A robot?" Pyre asked, her curiosity invoked. "That does sound promising... what features might this new body have?" She floated at Austin's eye level looking genuinely hopeful at the aspect of maintaining a physical form in the world of the awake.

[I am planning on bringing a new character in soon. Just thought I should throw that out there.]

I used a spell to keep awake. "This will do it for an hour." I said. Frost nodded.

"It will just be a simple robot, I thought it would look like you when you possess it" Austin said

Makil waked down into the basement and went over to Frost

Frost saw Makil. "Hello." she said.

The word "simple" was a bit of a let-down for Pyre, who was sincerely hoping for something a tad more... deadly. I could make modifications down the road... yes, yes, that will do nicely.

"Alright, bat boy, you've got yourself a deal" she said in a flirtatious, endearing way.

"Hello" Makil said back

"Ok, but on one condition Pyre, I know that deep down inside, you're not the monster Lotus says you are, I want you to be who you really are, I saw worry in your eyes, you don't have to be scared anymore, you can be the nice person I saw in your eyes" Austin said as he started working on the robot

"Is that true Pyre, are you just afraid that we won't like you" Ki said "Well, don't, we can be friends Pyre"

"Yes, it's true. I'm too scared that people will think I'm a freakshow. You wouldn't know it from looking at me- I mean, seriously, look at this." She paused to motion to her body, putting particular emphasis on her curves. "...But I've been so lonely..." She sobbed, but inside, she was giggling with glee; oh, if Austin knew the technological terror he was helping to bring into the world...

But still, he has been kind to me... she mentally argued with herself. I should repay him... I think I'll kill him last.

Austin stopped working on the robot "I know you're lying, just let me show you that I care about you" He said as he went over to Pyre and sat in front of her, he held out his hand and created a ball of light "Touch it, it's made of the energy that makes us nice"

I sighed. "So what if I have magic?? And other people know about it?" I ask out loud with a grin.

Ki turned around to look at Maria "You know magic, cool" He said "Frost and Makil look like their becoming friends"

She rolls her eyes and sighs, disappointed that her act didn't convince him, as she raises her fiery paw to touch the orb. "Fine, but if you think a little light show is gonna change anything in me, you are so wro-" She stops speaking upon contact with the orb, her eyes get a faraway look as Austin's light powers take effect. A new kind of warmth she had never known before flooded through her heart. Her voice notably lost its ethereal accent. "Wha- what are you... doing to me?"

"I'm just giving you compassion and love" Austin said as he focused solely on Pyre

"No, no, this is wrong! I can't let this happen to me!" she protested, but couldn't bring herself to remove her paw from the orb. She was compelled; the longer she kept at it, the less she wanted to stop. The icy bitterness in her soul gave way to the new warmth of kindness and love alien to her, and she began to look at Austin in a new light. He wasn't just another lowly mortal; he was the hero that saved her from herself, someone who genuinely felt compassionate towards her, the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

Her eyes opened to this new world of possibilities, Pyre gave Austin the sincerest of smiles and went to embrace him. Of course, she just went through him, but the message was all the same:

"Thank you."

"No problem, I saw who you really were, now I'm going to finish the robot for you" Austin said as he got up and continued work on the robot, he would have it done in a few minutes

"Wow, He really did it" Ki said to himself

"Ki, I thought you already knew!" I said annoyed.

Pyre devoted 100% of her attention to Austin, staring with awe and wonder as he worked on her new body.
