Chapter 14, Part 1: The Truth
"Look Midnight, I know this is hard to say but, I have to be ready! I have to know!" Icies Said, looking at Midnight. "ICIES!!!!!!!!!!" Her dad yelled. He ran torward her and hugged her. Icies hugged back. Cyril shead a tear. He looked up, and saw his loved one. His mate. Cyral. Cyral stood and shead a tear, too.She clappsed in his arms and hugged her long lost love. Everyone cheered and hugged Cyral. She was back. And nothing was going to seperate her again. "But we are not yet safe!" Alciesta said. "Back again so soon, Alciesta?" Cyril said, looking at his guradian.She smiled. "Life, or Death, Cyril. Life or Death!" She said. "Midnight, why don't you introduce yourself?" Icies said. "Everyone! This is our ally, Midnight!" Icies shouted."Always good to have a new ally!" Ignitus said, stepping out of the vision room. "We must prepare ourselves!" "But how? Xiana will be so strong, once she is created!" Terra said. Everyone went into the vision room. "Icies! You're alive!" Cynder and Spyro said together. They hugged their dragon friend, and then Skye. "Yes, I fear, Icies, It is time to face the truth." Ignita said, putting a paw on Icies. "What truth? I can handle it!" She said, confidence in her voice. "Who is Xiana?" She said. Ignitus inhaled deeply. "Xiana, Xiana is-" "Stronger, more powerful, please Ignitus, may she hear from me?" Midnight interupted. "I promesed I would!" "No......Xiana is the dragon YOU were talking about Midngiht?!?!?" Icies said shocked. "Yes. Please do Midnight." Ignitus said, ignoring Icies' comment. "Yes Icies. Xiana was the dragon." She inhaled deep. "They're going to create Xiana, using you, Icies." Midnight finished, and looked down.
There was a deep, cold silence. "No,No,NO!!! I'm going to be corruted?!?!?!" Icies yelled afetr a while. "I know this is hard for you. I've been through it. And so has my daughter." Midnight said, tring to comfert Icies. "Who is your daughter Midnight?" Cynder asked. Spyro just starred, wide-eyed, open mouth, all in shock. Midnight paused. "Y-You are Cynder. I was the one, who took your egg, because you were mine. I was the one, who made Malefor take an egg. It was all me." She replied. "I did my best to keep you alive." Cynder hugged her long lost mom "Mom, how can we save Icies? From turning evil." "I don't know... Now that the evil is more powerful, I really don't know..." Midnight responded. She turned to the window, and stared at the giant volcano. "Mignight, as long as your with us, you can help. There has to be something that we don't know." Icies said, walking torward Midnight.

Chapter 15: Can I Trust?

"Icies... Even though I've come to trust you.... I don't know if I can trust," Midnight said with a frown. "...Them..." she finished, turning to the guardians. "Wh..." Ignitus said, confused. "Why..."Volteer said confused too. "Huh?" Terrador said, turning his head. "How is it th-" Cyril started. "I just can't. It's...a long story...." Midnight said turning back around. "C'mon Mom, we deserve to know." Cynder said, walking to her Mom. "It's about your father Cynder.... and your Step-Dad or uncle, whatever you prefer..... and some even about your.....older brother...." "What!?" Icies said "I- I have a BROTHER?!?!?!" Cynder yelled. "Yes, but he's still at the Mountain of Malefor, and he's not EXACTLY your brother, he's your STEP-Brother...."
Midnight finished. Cynder's jaw dropped. "Shocker..." Icies said. "Wow, first your mom, now this..." Skye said. "Can we still hear?" Spyro asked. "Well, ok. It all started when Cynder was just an egg. Your father and I were so happy. And Icies, you should know that Trecxior was in love with me." Midnight said. "Yep, I remember that!" Icies replied. "And what happened was, his first mate, Crystal, a wind dragon, had run away," Midnight continued. "I wonder where she is..." she whispered. "Huh?" Spyro asked. "Oh, nothing. Anyway, he was in a great sadness, he really loved her, and his son, Gust. You see, Crystal hated being evil, and watching dragons parish for no reason, and she didn't want her son to do the same. So she ran away, as soon as he hatched. And then Trecxior, helped fight off the guardian's attack, but they had taken Sirren..." "Midnight, who's Sirren?" Skye asked. "Oh, sorry. Sirren is Cynder's dad. Back to the story, Sirren's blood was everywhere. I woke up, saw that he was gone, and Trecxior told me the whole story, and helped me gain back my strength, but I never was as happy. I soon after had another egg, but he had hatched before Cynder, so we said he was her older brother. Later Spyro came and defeated Cynder, and then you came along Icies, Your freed me, and I am grateful for that." Midnight finished.
