Fireflight walked into the deep, pitch black darkness of the cave. then she saw two, dark, piercing, bloodshot eyes glaring at her from the darkness. the eyes seemed to see into her very soul. the penetrating look gave her shivers down her spine.
"frigthened?" asked a dark, male voice.
"never! show yourself!" she growled.
"very well..." replied the voice. then a jet black, muscular, male dragon walked out of the shadows. Fireflight looked at te dragon, and noticed that this dragon was actually a teenager. "something wrong?" the dragon asked. he noticed that she was surprised.
"i am simply not used to fighting dragons who are younger, or not quite adults"
"whats the matter? scared that a younger dragon will get the best of you? as much as i would love to kill you right here, right now...i know that it will not happen here..."
"hmm...at least you know that you will not win"
"oh, i'll win, but no one will die...yet...!" he growled. then he lunged at her, ready to attack her with long, sharp claws, and fangs.

Fireflight used a blast of earth to send the dragon flying into a wall. the dragon got up quickly, and glared at her.
"i should have known it wouldn't be that easy..." he said.
"oh, i'm sorry, was i suppose to just stand here and let you kill me?" Fireflight asked, jokingly.
"i wouldn't expect that from a dragon like you...besides...it would take all the fun out of the challenge of killing you..."
"what makes you think you can even lay a claw on me?"
"i have my ways..." he said. then he disappeared. Fireflight looked around, cuatiously. she knew he wasn't gone. then the dragon teleported behind her. a dagger appeared in his claws, and he slowly and quietly, walked up to her from behind. Fireflight stopped moving completely. she knew he was there. she then used her tail to knock the dagger out of his claws, and then she turned around quickly, and shot fire balls at him. the fire balls went straight through him, and he disappeared. Fireflight knew that it must have been a clone. then the dragon grabbed her from behind, and held a dagger up to her neck.
"go ahead...stab me...it'll be the last thing you ever do..." she snarled.
"i do want you dead, but not here, not now, not like this..."
"whats stopping you?"
"now, if i told you then my plans would be ruined...and i don't want that to happen..."
"mind telling what these plans of yours are?"
"are you serious? do you really expect me to answer that?"
"well, it was worth a try..." she said. then she used her tail to stab him in the chest. he then let go of her, and backed away. she turned around to glare at him. he then healed himself, and glared back at her.
"now, that wasn't very nice..."
"exuse me, but your the enemy, don't expect me to go easy on you"
"alright. fine. then don't expect the same from me..." he said. then he threw the dagger, and it stabbed her in the chest. she then collapsed to the ground. he walked over to her, and looked down at her. "never let your guard down...that is one of your weaknesses...your arrogance will lead to your own death...but i have no problem with you doing that..." he grinned evily. then he opened his mouth, revealing two, long, sharp, snake-like fangs. he then bit her neck. Fireflight could feel his fangs in her neck. she also felt like she was losing alot of blood. there was a puddle of blood beneath her. the dragon then pulled away from her. there was fresh blood on his fangs, and lips. he then licked his mouth.
"ah...delicious...." he said. she looked up at him.
"did you....just......drink my blood....?" she asked.
"why yes...and i quite enjoyed it...i'd love to have more, but i have things to do, innocents to kill...even though i wouldn't mind staying, and watching you die..."
"i'm not.....going to.....die....." she said, weakly.
"we'll see about that...but if you do survive, don't bother coming after me, and trying to kill me...you'll just be wasting your time..." he said. then he disappeared. Fireflight layed her head down. she was losing large amounts of blood.

Asher paced back and forth in Neona's bedroom. then there was a knock at the door. he opened it, and looked at the grey wolf who stood there.
"well...?" Asher asked.
"we have found another healer...he is a herbal medicine man..." said the wolf.
"where is he?"
"we have brought him back here..."
"send him in..." Asher said. then the wolf walked away to get the healer. Asher left the door open just a crack. he then walked over to Neona, and kneeled down beside her. "we have found a healer....we will get you better....i promise...." he whispered to her. then there was another knock at the door, and someone came in. Asher looked at who had come in. it was a tall, male white lion. his eyes were a light blue, and he looked very calm, and peacful. he whore a long, red robe, and carried a long, red staff with a crystal orb at the end. he also carried a small, brown bag with him. he walked over to Asher, and looked down at him.
"pardon me for intruding, but the wolf outside told me to just come on in" he said. his voice was deep, and as loud as thunder, however he sounded quite nice for a lion. Asher stood up, and looked at him.
"that is quite alright, i asked him to send you in. may i ask what your name is?"
"my name is Absalom" said the lion.
"it is a pleasure to meet you, i am Asher. can you heal miss Neona?" he asked. Absalom looked over at her.
"ah, yes. i believe i can heal her" he replied. then he looked at Asher.
"excellent. thank you so very much. i have tried everything, and nothing has worked"
"then allow me to attend to her. i assure you that i will do whatever it takes to heal her"
"thank you. you don't know what this means to me" said Asher.
"i think i have a pretty good idea..." replied Absalom.

Absalom kneeled down beside Neona. then he looked over at Asher, who stood nearby.
"may i be alone with her, please? what i am about to do is a family secret...i can heal her...but i do not want the secret to get out..." he said.
"i understand...but please come get me when you are done..." replied Asher. then he stepped outside the room. Absalom looked back at Neona. he raised his paw, and held it over her body. his hand began to glow as he chanted something in an ancient language. the crystal orb on his staff also glowed, as well as Neona. when Absalom was done chanting, he lowered his paw, and rose to his feet. he walked over to the door, and stepped outside. he looked at Asher.
"it is done...she should be back to normal in a matter of days...if she does not get any better...please...do not hesitate to ask for my assitance once more..." he said. Asher looked at him, with a look of hope and gratitude in his eyes.
"thank you...how could i ever repay you...?" he asked. Absalom held up his paw.
"there is no need for that...you owe me nothing...all i ask is that i know your leader is healed...the look of happiness on your face brings me great joy...now, i must go...there are others in need of my services..." he said. then he walked away. then Asher walked inside the bedroom. he walked over to Neona, and kneeled down beside her.
"Neona...?" he whispered. then she started to open her eyes.

Absalom left the wolves' home. he then stopped somewhere nearby the mountains, and looked up to the sky. he then sniffed the air.
"someone is in danger..." he said, quietly. he then walked off.
:meanwhile:
Fireflight lay motionless within the cave. the puddle of blood had gotten much larger. the dagger was still in her. then someone walked up to her from the shadows, and took the dagger out. they observed her wounds, and noticed that she had lost large amounts of blood, and was still bleeding. then they kneeled down beside her, held they're paw above her body, and began to heal her. Fireflight slowly opened her eyes. her vison was blurry at first. she could barely see a figure beside her.
"w--who are you.....?" she asked. her voice was almost at a whisper, and she was still weak.
"someone who just saved your life...." the figure replied. the voice was deep, and loud as thunder. she could tell it was a males voice. the the figure stood up, and walked out of the cave.

Fireflight was fully healed, but still a little weak. she stood up, and looked around the cave. she then felt pain in her neck. then she reached up to rub her neck with her paw, but she felt the bite mark, where the dragon had drank some of her blood. she wasn't bleeding, but it still hurt. she then looked down at her chest, and noticed that the stab wound was gone. she wondered why she stab wound was gone, and the bite mark wasn't.
:meanwhile:
the dragon that had drank Fireflight's blood was now relaxing in a small cave within a swamp. in his hands was a large, dark red book. the title read "The Ledgend of Fireflight"

Fireflight decided to fly back to the elders, and tell them everything that happened. she had forgotten that she was suppose to go to the mountains, and help Neona.
:meanwhile:
"Asher......?" Neona said, faintly.
"i'm here, miss Neona.....are you alright...? how are you feeling...?" he asked, concerned.
"better.......but...i still feel weak....."
"than you shall rest....i'm here if you need me...."
"thank you...." she said, weakly.
:meanwhile:
"now...lets see what i can find out about you...Fireflight..." said the dragon, as he opened the book, and began reading.

"well? what did you find out?" asked a cold, dark, female voice.
"everything..." replied a dark male voice.
"enough to get the job done?"

Fireflight knocked on the door of the elders' temple. the door opened, and Goldstar let her inside. Goldstar saw the bite mark on her neck, and was worried.
"are you ok? what happened?" she asked, worriedly. Fireflight looked at her.
"i found him...the one who killed Goldwing...he tried to kill me too...he bit my neck...and drank my blood...but then...someone came...someone healed me...i don't know who it was..."
"ok...but what about the dragon? do you know anything about him?"
"no...but i do know that hes a teenager..."
"wait, what? hes a kid?"
"but he was strong..."
"i'll check the books, and find out who he is. we will defeat this guy" she said. then she went to the library.

Thunderhead was inside the temple, sleeping. Evelyn was walking around in the garden. she walked through the flower patches, smelling the flowers, and listening to birds chirp. then she heard footsteps behind her. she turned around, and saw no one. she then turned back around, to continue walking through the garden, but in front of her stood a teen, male, black dragon. the dragon looked down at her, and grinned evily.
"hello there little one, mind being the bait to a trap?" he said in a dark voice. Evelyn looked up at him, scared. then the dragon grabbed her, and disappeared surrounded in shadow.

Oh no.....

Evelyn barely opened her eyes to find herself in a small, dark room. she was laying down in a small cage, within a small cave. she didn't know where she was, but she had a pretty good idea of how she got there. she stood up, and looked around the room. she didn't see anything except darkness.
"i wonder where that dragon went...." she thought. "...well, wherever he went, i hope he doesn't come back any time soon..." then she looked at the bars of the cage. "...i wonder...could i use my green acid breath to break outta here...?" she wondered. then she heard footsteps. "..uh oh...troubles coming..." she thought. then the dragon who had kidnapped her, came out of the shadows, and walked up to the cage. he glared at her, with an evil grin on his face.
"its about time you woke up. i'd thought i'd be forced to wait until tomorrow just to lure your ancestor here" he said. "i found out that the best way to get the attention of an empath is to attack thier heart...and what better way to do that than to kidnap, and torture the descedant of an empath...?" he snarled. Evelyn was scared. she knew that the dragon was after Fireflight. she knew she had to do something, but what could she do? she then saw the dragon grab a dagger. "now...to get Fireflight's attention, i'll need you to scream...which shouldn't be too hard..." he said.
"if he thinks he'll get me to scream, so he can hurt Fireflight, he has another thing coming...!" she thought. the dragon smiled.
"i can read your thoughts, you know. i don't need you to get to Fireflight. i could easily kill you, and then go after her myself! either way, both of you will die, and theres nothing you can do about it!" he growled.

me: FRRROOOOOSTBOLT!!!!
fb: WHAT?! *is watching a moive*

that is a very good idea, Deaver. Evelyn does have at least one element that she has learned, and she can use it; she can't really control it, but she can use it.
F: ugh! where am i?! i'm supposed to save the day! don't let her have all the fun!

Evelyn had to think fast. she then felt a sneeze coming.
"oh no....not now...!" she thought, but it was too late. she suddenly sneezed, and acid shot out of her mouth. the acid hit the dagger, and melted it. the dragon then grabbed another dragon. then Evelyn felt another sneeze. this time, acid shot out of her mouth, and landed on the bars of the cage. then the dragon reached through the new opening in the cage, and grabbed Evelyn by the neck. then Evelyn sneezed again, shot acid at the dragon's eyes. he screamed in pain, as he dropped her. then Evelyn took off running. she ran outside the cave, and found herself in a swamp. she ran as fast as she could, and soon reached a small forrest right outside the swamp.

Evelyn ran through the forrest. she didn't know if the dragon was chasing her or not. she then stopped, and looked back to be sure, and then she saw the dragon running after her. then Evelyn took off running. she ran as fast as she could. the dragon wasn't far behind her. Evelyn kept running. she then ran into a large clearing in the middle of the forrest. then suddenly, someone swooped down from the sky, and grabbed her. frightened, and startled, she began screaming.
"don't worry! i've got you!" said a male voice. Evelyn thought she reconized the voice, and looked up to see who it was. she had been grabbed by a large, male, ice dragon. she smiled when she saw who it was.
"Frostbolt!" she thought. the dragon had seen Frostbolt grab her, and was flying after them. Frostbolt looked back to see him not far behind.
"hang on!!" Frost said to Evelyn. then he flew faster, and closer to the ground. he flew past many trees, twisting and turning, to avoid making a crash landing. the dragon followed them closely. "i'm gonna try and lose him! just hold on!" Frost said. Evelyn looked back at the dragon, and saw him about to throw a dagger. she had to warn Frostbolt.
"look out!" she cried. Frostbolt looked back to see the dragon throw a dagger at him. the dagger hit his left wing, and went straight through it. Frost roared in pain, and looked at the hole in his wing. Evelyn carefully pulled herself up onto Frostbolt's back. she looked at the hole in his wing, and wondered how she could fix it. she thought of using ice, but could she use it willingly? she knew she had to try. then she felt a sneeze coming.
"oh no!" she thought. she was afraid she would shoot acid at his wing, making things worse. she then sneezed, and suddenly a bolt of ice shot out of her mouth, and hit the hole in Frost's wing. she was amazed, and surprised. she acctually filled in the hole in his wing with ice. Frostbolt felt a little better now, and continued to fly at high speed. the dragon was still following them closely. the dragon continued to throw daggers, each one hitting Frostbolt's wings. Frost roared in pain as each dagger cut through his wings. Frostbolt was slowing down, and starting to get clumsy. he was hitting trees, and could barely fly right. the dragon kept throwing daggers. Frostbolt tried to keept flying, but his wings were hurt bad. he couldn't fly anymore. he then landed on the ground, and started running as fast as he could. the dragon did the same, and ran after him. then the dragon grabbed another dagger. the dragon aimed it at Frostbolt, and then threw it at him. the dagger hit his right leg, and went in deep. Frostbolt roared in pain as he fell to the ground. Evelyn jumped off of Frostbolt, and looked at him. she was scared. Frostbolt looked at her.
"Evelyn....go...! run...! get outta here...! save yourself...!" he told her. Evelyn stood there, looking at him. she shook her head. she didn't want to leave him. "go...! don't worry about me...! just go...! now....!!" he said. the dragon ran up to them. Evelyn looked at the dragon, and then took off running. the dragon walked up beside Frostbolt, and lifted his head up.
"thats ok...i don't need her anymore...not when i have you.." he said. then he grabbed Frostbolt, and dragged him back to his lair.

Fireflight and Goldstar were in the library looking up books on the dragon. Fireflight had been reading a book, and had just closed it.
"this is hopless. we're never going to find anything. we have searched every single book, and have found nothing. we havn't even found what his name is, or who his parents are. face it, Goldstar, we're never going to find him. it's hopless" said Fireflight. Goldstar walked over to her, carrying a book.
"don't say that! there is always hope. we will find this guy. hes probally not in any books because hes too young to have alot of history. its not like hes a hundred years old"
"maybe, but i had a book when i was eight, and hes a teen. if there is a book on him, we would have found it by now"
"there has to be some kind of information on him somewhere. he didn't just magically appear, or fall out of the sky. he has to have a name, parents, anything. i'm not giving up untill in find something on this guy. we have to stop him before he hurts anyone else"
:meanwhile:
Frostbolt was in a small dark room, chained to a wall. he was unconcious. the dragon stood in front of him, holding a dagger.
"well, if the kid won't cooperate with me, maybe you will..." he said.

Evelyn ran deep into the forrest. she looked back several times to make sure no one was following her. she then ran into someone, and looked to see who it was. it was a small, male red dragon. he had red spikes from head to tail, dark red wings, a red tail-end, two long, sharp red horns, and blood red eyes. he looked at Evelyn.
"you mind not running into me?" he said, in a calm, gentle voice.
"uh...sorry..." she replied. she was looking around, and ready to take off again.
"wheres the fire?" he asked. she looked at him.
"what?"
"whats the rush? you running from something, or someone?"
"uh...i gotta go..." she said. then she walked away from him, and was about to start running. he turned around to see her.
"wait, you didn't tell me your name" he said.
"i don't have time for that..." she said, walking faster. then he began to follow her.
"why not?" he asked, walking faster.
"i just don't...now, leave me alone..." she said. then he got in front of her, and stopped her.
"whats wrong?"
"..nothing..."
"no, somethings up, i can tell. just tell me whats wrong, start with your name" he said. she looked into his gentle, concerned eyes.
"my names Evelyn..."
"ok, thats a start. i'm Targon. now, tell me whats wrong"
"theres....theres some guy....chasing me....hes evil....he had me at his lair....he wanted to torture me....make me scream so that...i could lure my ancestor to him....so he could kill her....i got away.....and....a friend of mine....tried to save me....but the dragon....he threw daggers....he hurt my friend....i was able to get away.....but....i think....i think he took my friend....i have to help him...." she said. then she started crying. Targon wrapped his wings, and arms around her.
"shh...its ok...i'll help you...i'll take you to my home, and my uncle can help you..." he said. she looked at him.
"really...? you'll help me..?" he looked at her.
"of coarse...we'll save your friend...and stop that...monster...that attacked you..."
