Oh yeah Windows 7 is way better than Windows 10. It's the aesthetic part I don't feel nostalgia for yet, I miss shiny aero but it hasn't crossed that nostalgia barrier as it feels too recent.

Regardless, Windows 11 is pure ass. Might take the 10 ltsc pill or linux (if any of me programs ever work on it).

not to be an I USE ARCH!! guy but i've been dual-booting windows and linux for ~3-4 years now. it's a slow adjustment and i'm still far from an expert, but i'm at the point where i go MONTHS without using the windows partition cause i dont need it.

"it is up to the individual interpretation" and "any conclusion is the right conclusion" is becoming the new "BUT... it was al just a dream/in their head." getting sick of media that is "mysterious" and "vague" using that as a cop out to explaining what the heck just happened. only two real conclusions to come to. 1. it is an excuse to cover for the fact that you cant write your way out of a paper bag so therefore if you use the above as the conclusion if someone says you cannot write you can dismiss by simply saying you didnt get it bruv and or there is nothing to get in the first place it is subjective interpretation or 2. you use it as an excuse to put together a bunch of nonsense and abstract art that has no true sense to it to apply a faux sense of artistic value to your mish mash of separated ideas you half heartedly stitched together to call a story and sophisticated piece of thought-provoking art while you use it as a meat shield to any criticism of your fluency in any sort of good professionally applied plot structure.

yeah, as important as the environmental message is, not enough people really care about it unfortunately. not enough to make the argument stick effectively anyways. the people most into nft's already don't really care about climate change or whatever

It's also the same issue as AI energy usage - people who aren't knowledgeable can't really wrap their heads around a warehouse that spends more electricity than a small city. Those that do either could tell just from reading anything and would be against both anyway, or don't care (or actively want a piece of the pie).

yeah also it is just kind of ridiculous bevause their are loads of other computer farms and data centers outside of NFT blockchains that consume way way way more energy then they do. things that could be argued as more pointless then NFTs which is difficult to think of but people technically make money from those. it just seems to be an example of trying to reach the correct answer which is them being stupid from the incorrect conclusions. im just not big on what seems to be a recent trend i have noticed of people using environmental issues or other world issues to target things they do not like specifically whether or not the impact those things make on whatever issue is being discussed is enough to warrant it being targeted in the first place or if it is more harmful then other things that just do not have as bad of a reputation. still hate them but come on now.
