Vianne paused and glanced back over her shoulder. "Yeah, well, danger never stopped me before. Been alone for a while now, and I've gotten along just fine. Haven't had problems since I got here. Didn't know I'd get my privacy invaded like that. You guys can put up with it if you want to, but I've had enough. I rather camp out in the woods again than have whoever that was in my mind again." She grumbled, her demeanor suddenly vastly different then moments ago.

Upon hearing his name, he looked up to the one who had voiced it. His expression was caught between fear and sorrow; fear for the ones trapped beneath their homes, and fear of being trapped, at the same time. Sorrow.. for the entirety of the situation. Looking up to Asa, he pointed - without looking, without having to look - towards the direction of a completely destroyed cabin. It had all but collapsed, and several camp members were in the process of searching through the rumble for survivors. There was one, which they soon found, buried beneath her own house.
Lowering his hand back to his side, Michael looked to Asa with a look that seemed to ask, Do you understand?

Shane didn't care, his idea was dangerous, he could burn the whole place to the ground, even if he found the culprit, Shane wouldn't know what Ray would do to him. "Ray, I like your enthusiasm, but you came here because you were not accepted in society, right? because people hurt you, well I want the hurting to stop, and stop it will, we will not make any rash decisions, we will formulate a plan, together as a group, I may not seem like I do to you, but I give a damn about everyone's safety, especially yours, my friend, so simmer down...Please. And finding the culprit is not our priority right now, it's helping the wounded, people may have died Raymond, and you want vengeance? No, it can't just be about you, we are going to help clean this mess up." With that, he went after Vi.
"Wait!" Shane knew he had to do something, he couldn't let this girl be in the outside world, she might be harmed, he didn't want that, especially after that horrid storm. Please, listen, My name is Shane, I can assure you your safety here at this camp, I won't let anyone or anything breach your mind again, I'll find whoever did this and I will stop them." Promises, he always made promises, but they were always so hard to keep, sometimes people made promises just to get people on their side, but Shane wanted to help and he was genuine. "And you don't need to be alone anymore." As he spoke he placed his hand upon her shoulder. "You're among friends here." He shot off a smile, hoping to get one from her in return.

Asa raised an inquiring eyebrow, following the boy's finger. Seeing the injured woman being hauled out of the rubble was enough for her. "This shouldn't have happened," she said grimly, her voice only a whisper. "Where the camp is located... this is unnatural." She began to walk forward, seeking to assist in the rescuing. "They'll need our help."

Vianne stared at him quietly for a moment and sighed. "Look, you all seem nice, and I was looking forward to being here, but I'm not putting up with this mind invasion nonsense. I can take care of myself just fine, and I'm sure you all are pretty skilled yourselves, but it's hard to block out mental powers. Trust me. I've tried. It sucks, and I don't know how to fight it. And a word pf promise don't mean as much as an action behind it. You can say that, but can you actually deliver? You might try, but you could also fail. No offense or anything, just saying." She said. Vi then sighed again. "Tell you what, Shane, I'll give you guys a chance. I'll stay here for a bit, see if things get better, before deciding to move on or something. But I'm telling you, I'm not putting up with mind tricks."

Michael nodded, still trying to regain his composure as he trailed after Asa. He was shaking a bit, feeling as if he had been the one under that pile of rubble. It really hurt at times, feeling what other people felt, and now was certainly was one of those times. As if he wasn't already worried sick about the others, he also had to virtually experience what they were going through. It was like living through PTSD every time something bad happened to someone around him.

"Good. I'm glad you've decided to give this another chance, it's great here" Except for the fact that so many people had been hurt since the previous night, he wanted to help all of them, but he knew he couldn't. "I don't think I caught your name?" He inquired, this girl had gone from tremendously giddy to downright pissed off in a matter of seconds, it was....Interesting.
----- The director had put on a nice, new, black suit, he was about to take the stand at the main square to announce the clean up of the camp and to address all of the damages and what need to be done. He loved it, he would be out in public, in front of the group he had been monitoring and he wouldn't even be suspected, he found it so fun and exhilarating.

Vianne blinked and was quiet for a moment. She then suddenly facepalmed. "How could I have possibly forgotten to say my own name?! I mean, seriously, how much of a dunce can I be?!" She nearly laughed at this, her cheerful demeanor seemed to have returned quickly. "And the award for epic fail of the day goes to myself, for forgetting my own name. Oh, geez, that's a new memory loss low for me." She chuckled. "Anyway, I'm Vianne Lygon, but feel free to call me Vi. In fact, I actually prefer to be called Vi." She smiled, holding out a hand to Shane.

"Hahah!" This girl was quite funny, he knew that they would get along just fine...If only he could get along with that damned Pyro, now that would be something He took her hand, shaking it firmly. "Shane Blair, Shapeshifter, and don't tell me...You turn into things you touch, right?" At that thought he let go of her hand, not sure the extent of how far her powers went, he didn't want to have two of him running around. "C'mon, I'll show you around."

Raymond kept his teeth bared when Shane turned away. People didn't hurt him, it was quite the opposite, because he's the one who hurt the people.
The last day of school his senior year, one of the football guys decided to play a trick on Raymond because of his social status in society; his parents was military, so they moved more often than so, and Ray was always the new kid. Raymond had a fear of snakes, because as a child, he was bitten by a diamondback rattle snake and almost died, so it struck fear in him. They tricked him, told him to meet them in one of the classrooms where they could talk about something Ray didn't quite catch. He aimlessly went and when he came to the room, they locked him in it, slipping snakes in through the window and shutting it after. Raymond's eyes went wide, as he caught himself thinking about it, how his powers came in fear, and how he used a gaze on one of the boys, burning him as flames covered Raymond, giving him a ghastly appearance. He made his victim see his wrongs and caused him to repent almost. A roar came from Raymond when he dropped his first victim and turned to the others, lower jaw hanging down as he roared again. He was able to rip the door from its hinges and go after the others. No one tried to stop him, and he just took their lives, as if holding a magnifying glass over an ant hill. Freeze could still see this vividly as if it was happening again to him, as he sucked the life from them. His hands closed into fists, he could feel himself cooling down until his vision unclouded from his rage. He didn't notice the wreckage, until it reminded him of his last home. He had gone through this before, when spring came and it was tornado damage. People lost homes, livelihoods, and more. Raymond froze, as he saw how close it was. He gone through this before, and he still was freezing up. A twenty three year old, stuck frozen as if paralyzed in fear. It was an exact replica of his last experience with damage like this. He couldn't do a thing, like he couldn't back as a fifteen year old who lost his father to this. Soldiers experienced this when in combat, PTSD, they called it and it just seems like Ray was experiencing it.

"Wait, how the heck did you even guess that?!" Vianne gasped. "No one ever guesses what my power is! They, like, always assume it's the first thing they see. Like I expected you guys to assume my powers were electricity based, even though they aren't at all. How did you guess my power is to absorb the properties of matter or energy I come in contact with?"

Nathan caught up to the two other outcasts. "You wanna learn how to block out people who can read your mind?" He said. "I can teach you." He laughed as she made fun of herself. "Yeah, I'm sure I'd feel like that if I forgot to introduce me with my name.....wait......I did." He burst into laughter. "Nathaniel Evans. You can call me Nathan. Also, I'm a telepath." He said.

Asa didn't know that the mute boy possessed the power of empathy, but she knew she was ignorant on the matter of what power he did possess. All she knew was that it may have been making him act the way he was acting now. Was he a telepath, and could sense the thoughts of the hurting people who were trapped? Or something entirely different? She pondered on this while she was running about, delivering medical supplies across the broken cabins to numerous rescue groups.

//Ezio, Raymond's story has made me feel sad, I hope one day he and Shane can get along, I doubt that will happen for a while though.//
Shane scratched the back of his neck, he could tell she was amused, even if only a little, by his guessing of her powers, it was simple really, he just took every possibility into account and eliminated the ones that didn't make any sense. "When you're going to be the leader of a camp full of people with extraordinary powers, you have to be able to tell what they can do with ease, my grandfather taught me how to do it, I saw the strike of lightning, and then I saw you with electricity shooting everywhere, but you could barely control it, if your powers were purely electricity based you would have had an easy time controlling those powers, but you didn't, so it only left the fact that the strike changed your cells. Oh! I forgot to mention, I'm kind of the ancestor of the founder of this place, was supposed to take it over but...Ah, nevermind, it's boring." As he laughed, he couldn't help but notice Raymond frozen, just standing there, Shane was worried, but he didn't want to leave the girl on her own since she didn't know the place. "Hey, Nathan, go check on Ray, will ya? And don't tell him I sent you...He'd only curse you off, I don't know why he can't see I'm just trying to help."

Nathan nodded, saluting at Shane. "Sure thing, captain!" He joked, running off towards Ray. "Just try not to read his thoughts." He kept on telling himself.

Vianne chuckled a bit at Nathan. "Nice to meet you." She said. A telepath, huh? So he's sort of like Mom was. I wonder if he invades people's privacy, too. No, maybe not. I shouldn't judge him like that. That'd be rude. I don't even know the guy. Who knows, maybe he's not one to abuse his power.
She then turned to Shane. "Wow, really? You figured all that out, huh? Well, kudos. You'd be the first. And that's interesting. So you're the descendant, a member of the Blair family. I heard a lot about this place. So is your grandfather still in charge? After the tales I heard, I had always wanted to meet him." She smiled. Vianne glanced back, noticing that something was up with Ray. She frowned with worry. She wanted to go over and see what was wrong and possibly cheer him up. After all, he had helped her earlier. She may not have had the chance to take control of her powers without him.

When Nathan approached Raymond, the pyro nodded once. It had been the same routine, if he froze like this and was asked if he was okay, it was just a simple nod. No words, no other response. He didn't feel comfortable speaking, as he felt his throat close up as if the life was being sucked from him.
Conceal, don't feel. Let it go, Ray. he kept repeating to himself mentally, as he turned his gaze away from the damage, and just started walking. He needed to go, and just have no one follow him. Michael had stayed within the general vicinity of Asa, but he had gone off in his own ways of helping. As much as it hurt him, his empathy could actually be very helpful at times. He could feel where the trapped people were located. It took him time and effort to battle through the emotions that came with the person's location, but when he finally managed to get through all of that, he was left knowing not just what the person was going through, but where they were, as well.
It was like a connection between himself and the people he was trying to locate. He could feel their emotions, and that bonded them in a way that made him more aware of them. Not only in what they were feeling, but, to an extent, their surroundings as well. It was complicated, and Michael would never have been able to explain it accurately if he had actually been one to speak. It was sort of like.. Michael was a radar. He picked up people's emotions, feeling them as his own and, at times, being able to locate the source. It was rather difficult for him, for he had to work past the feeling of the emotions themselves and instead focus on where they were coming from. It was difficult, but he was all too willing to offer his services. He would grab a passerby every so often, taking them to the place where he had detected someone in need of help. Some people didn't understand him at first, but many had known him for some time, and understood his subtle ways of communication. Sitting up against a standing cabin now, Michael was watching another person getting unearthed from the debris of their cabin. Even through all the pain he felt, it still brought a glimmer of happiness knowing that he could help in some way.

Nathan was tempted to go after him, but decided against it, coming. To the decision that the pyro needed his space. "We're stealing all his oxygen, he's going out." He joked, beginning to walk back to Vi and Shane. "Let's just hope their powers don't start messing with them." He said, talking to himself as he walked towards them. He noticed tag the did that a lot. He always tended to talk to himself when there weren't any people around him, it allowed him to just get his random thoughts out when he want with people. Which he usually wasn't.

Shane had stopped in his tracks when Vi had mentioned hos grandfather, sorrow seeped through him. "Uh..." He chuckled, which was all he could do at the moment, memories ran through his head like a moving bullet train, the good and the bad, but it was all there. "He...Died, four months ago....I'm the only one left in my family, now." He had been staring at the ground for some time, but he didn't want to make her sad aswell, so he perked up, pretending to be happy again. "Um...This is the main office." before them stood a large building, unlike the others it was made of stone and not wood, "If you have any issues, they can be addressed in the main office...Over here is the food court."

Vianne was quiet a moment. She hadn't realized that Shane's grandfather had died. She never even got a chance to meet him. Seeing Shane get upset, she felt like an idiot for even bringing it up. She was about to apologize, when he suddenly seemed to bounce back and move on with a tour of the place. She sighed, figuring he was hiding his grief, and didn't want to deal with it at the moment.
Vi decided not to press the issue further. She didn't want to upset him. Instead, she simply nodded, and took note of where everything was. She would try to remember that for later. Although she doubted she would actually be able to remember anything. She had often joked in the past, even just to herself, that she would have lost her own head if it weren't attached to her body. She smiled softly at her joke, even if she hadn't said it out loud.

Raymond decided to disappear into the woods, hoping not to be followed. His thoughts were too much for him as it was. He knew there was a lake around the place, and it was where he could hide out. Free to blow off smoke and steam if he needed to. His jaw had been tight the whole time as he walked, before he saw his regular spot near the shore, a blackened area of rocks. Six years of this just made its mark. The pyro sat in the middle of it, staring out into the water. Tree branches floated in it from the storm damage, and it just made him even worse than what he was.

Shane continued to guide Vi around, showing her every place she needed to know, he showed her the food court, and the school, and the hospital, and he showed her his place he liked to go to practice his powers, he also showed her to her cabin, it was the one next to his, for some reason people didn't like living next to a boy that could shift into a dinosaur and devour their homes and their entirety. "Well, here's your cabin, it's nice, isn't it? The one next to it is mine, so if you ever need anything, come on over." The storm had done quite a number on his cabin, but it was still standing and was crushed or uprooted, just some broken windows and the broken door, same with the one he was presenting to Vi, but that one had less damage.

"Yeah, nice, aside from a little damage, but hey, nothing I ain't used to. And I will certainly keep that in mind. I won't forget where your cabin is." Vi nodded with a smile. She then chuckled softly. "At least, I hope I don't forget where your cabin is. If I don't notice the one that's literally right next to mine, then I really am forgetful and crazy. I mean, hello, Earth to Vi, what are you, blind? You don't notice the building structure right next to your place?" She laughed, poking fun at herself.

Raymond just stared out at the water, a reflection of the forest was flawless on the lake surface. Freeze had his legs pulled up and his forearms rested on his knees. He was no different than some extremist, killing several people for revenge and wanting to go after others, not caring if others got injured in his path. He was scared to death, that fear of becoming a monster, only used for war. He dared not to look at his reflection, fearing he'd see the monster within him. A skeleton with flames engulfing it. He would end up using the stare on himself, as some form of suicide, wanting to escape what hell he hath made. "Hell hath no fury like myself." He mumbled in fear of himself. Raymond knew how to control his power but his temperamental selfishness would make him lose that tight grip.
"God damn me!" He said harshly and loudly, throwing fire at the lake surface. He got a loud hiss and steam coming from the water.

Vianne then sighed, turning away to look out over the horizon. She had wondered where that pyromancer had gone off to. He seemed quite troubled. Something was bothering him, and she did want to help. After all, he had helped her. She wasn't sure if she would have been able to take control of her new lightning form on her own. Well, technically, she still hadn't mastered it, not by a long shot, but she was at least able to deactivate it. She figured the least she could do was thank the man and see what was bothering him.
Vi glanced around, seeing that most people seemed too preoccupied with repairing the damages that the storm had done to pay much attention to what she may be doing. Thinking that no one was watching her, she kneeled down to the ground, looking at the grass. She smiled and place her hand on the lush, green, wet grass. Closing her eyes, she concentrated for a moment. Come on, plant lady form, here I come! Suddenly, it appeared as though the grass leaped up from the ground, starting at her hand. As her hand quickly became engulfed in grass, it spread up to her arms, going down her legs to her feet, and all the way up to her head. Her clothes, and even her backpack, also became totally made of grass. Once Vi looked like a walking, human-shaped bush, she smiled contently. Then all of a sudden, her form sunk down and disappeared into the grass, as if she had never been there. A swift rustling could be seen, as if wind was whipping across the field of grass.

His blue eyes just kept his fear as he just sat there, fearing if he was a monster now. He almost attacked Shane, and was about to go after someone who wasn't even there. He wouldn't be surprised of the lot of them, only teenagers, saw him as some sort of wrathful bastard. Ray just closed his hands into fists as he tried to shut his own thoughts out.
...you're a m o n s t e r, raymond.... you killed five innocent guys...using your powers for r e v e n g e you're nothing but a w a r harborer.... The pyro closed his eyes tightly, moving his hands up to his head. "Shut up, shut up shut up!" He got progressively louder as he kept hearing the same thoughts over and over again. He was like he was when he first used his powers, a scared little boy.

Shane watched her as she transformed, and sink into the loamy soil, zooming away without a goodbye, and all he could do was smile, he wasn't sure why, but seeing someone so happy made him happy as well. "Well...I guess I might as well start to clean up, I have to be ready to meet everyone at noon..." Thoughts ran through his head about the Pyro, he seemed like such a big part in all of this, but he wanted no part of it, he didn't want the help, he wouldn't accept the friendship, he just closed Shane off as if he was an enemy. I don't get it. Despite the rage Ray had put out, and his almost attacking Shane, Shane still wanted to help the guy, whether Ray knew it or not. "Leading people is so tough...How the hell did ya do it, gramps? How did you get people to live together in harmony despite their differences? Tell me your secrets, I just want to talk to you one more time, please!" The wind began to pick up a bit, sending a cool breeze across the land. "Whatever..."

Vianne traveled through the grass swiftly, being one with the plant itself at the moment. She feel every blade of grass around her. She could feel everything the grass touched. It was easy to find people, while staying hidden herself. Through the grass, she felt a figure alone by the lake. She figured that was the pyromancer she was searching for, and quickly headed in that direction.
The only thing Raymond would have noticed, if anything, was a swift movement of the grass, with all the blades turning to face him. The movement stopped right next to him, with the last few blades facing the lake. For a moment, nothing happened. Then suddenly, what looked like a humanoid bush randomly popped up beside him in a sitting position. Completely forgetting to deactivate her powers, Vi smiled and turned her head to look at Raymond. "Hi. Glad I found you." She said, still looking like a human-shaped bush. "I, um, sort of wanted to thank you for helping me earlier. I mean, I think I did, but I wanted to say thanks again. So, uh, thanks." She smiled. She then took a deep breath and her smile faded slightly. "I also sort of wanted to ask if you were okay. You just seem troubled." She said gently.

Raymond didn't react to her appearing out of the grass, as he just folded his arms over his ones and laid his head on them. She had came at his lowest point and he had nothing left to say now. "Troubled.." He repeated in a quiet tone, feeling his body tense up. "That's not a word I'd use.." He just remained like that. "I'd use scared, fearful...." He sounded like the words he had been saying. "I... I don't belong here..." He felt his throat closing up again, like one's throat would be doing before crying. He wasn't forming his words anymore, shoulders shaking some, trembling.
Raymond didn't care if she saw him like this, he almost had given up.

Vianne frowned and quietly looked at him with a sympathetic expression. "We all get scared sometimes and feel like we don't belong." She spoke gently. "I've traveled quite a bit in my lifetime, maybe more than my fair share. I've never really stayed in one place for very long, so I never came to call a place home. I was always that new kid in town, the one without any friends, 'cause I didn't know nobody. There was really no point in making any friends, since I'd have to leave them shortly. Yet I still tried. Sure, they thought I was a weirdo, but I was always nice to them. Bu regardless of that, I always felt alone. I didn't have friends, no place to call home. The only family I had were my parents, and... Well... Let's just say they wouldn't be winning any awards for parents of the year.... It's a scary thing, being alone in this world, with no place to call home. But hey, twenty years old, just arrived here, and I haven't given up yet. I always thought this'd be the place... The place I call home.... I place I actually make something called a friend and actually hold onto to 'em.... I mean, eventually, after ruling out so many places, you're gonna find one you fit in at.... Maybe you already found your's, and you just don't realize it yet... But even if you haven't, no matter how scared you get, you can't give up...." She said, giving a soft smile. Then Vi's powers deactivated as she gently placed a hand on his shoulder.

He listened, half heartedly, to what she said. She seemed to have the most leveled head on her shoulders in this camp. "...I had a home, I belonged there," his voice came out all cracked up and scared still, as he kept trying to form his words. Swallowing the hard lump in his throat, he pressed on with it. "I was scared when the powers came... And in a blind fury...." He took a breath, shaky as ever. "They were right there, staring at me like deer in headlights as I lost it, turning into a monster..." He was beating himself up badly. "I just attacked them and no one stopped me, they just let me murder them..." Raymond finally looked up to her, the look of a sorrowed man was plain on his face.
"..I'm a monster, and it frightens me....what if I harm someone here? The guilt weighs down on me.... I-I can't take it no more..." He just looked empty now.

Vianne listened quietly and processed what she had heard. She sighed and frowned. "You're not a monster. You should never call yourself that. No matter what happens, you can't think that way about yourself. You were scared, that's reasonable. Everyone gets scared. Everyone reacts in an extreme way when they're scared. It happens. It's natural. It's a response to survive. You were probably just as surprised as they were. No matter how wrong the deed, you are not a monster for killing them. It doesn't sound like you were in control of the situation, or that you had any ill intentions. It's not like you planned on hurting them. It just happened. But you shouldn't beat yourself up over it." She paused, sighing.
"You're not the only one that has trouble with their powers, you know. I've lost control of mine before, too, and I'm not just talking about today. I've never killed anyone, but there were times when I was scared of coming close to doing so. The first time I became water? I nearly drowned someone. It was a complete accident, and I didn't mean to do it, but I still felt horrible about it. I felt guilty for a long time, and that person always avoided me after that. But I wasn't a monster just for being responsible for such an act. It was an accident. The point is to learn to control it so that it doesn't happen again. If you can't do it alone, then find someone to help. You're not a monster for what you did." She said, and then hugged him.

He didn't expect to be hugged by her, but his fear didn't go down. It felt as if it was rising. He didn't want to get too close to someone, not with his abilities and his inability to control his emotions. He felt as if he was so far away. "...my own mother looked at me like I was something from hell, flames everywhere and just..." He started shaking again, taking in small choppy breaths. "I didn't know how to stop it...." He could feel his hands set ablaze, in his own fear of becoming some monster being used for war like purpose; since his head was so close to hands, he slowly turned into the flaming skeleton.
He needed someone to mend him because he wasn't strong enough to do it himself.

"But you're not a monster. You're not some creature that crawled out of hell. If that were true, you'd be going on killing sprees, and you wouldn't feel remorse for anything. So we can rule that out right off the bat, 'cause no hellbeasty that I can think of is gonna get scared and feel sorry for what it's done. Unless you know of one that I don't, 'cause I got nothing. So forget about anyone that looks at you like you're some kind of monster, because you're not one, and you don't need to be around people that see you that way. As for stopping it? I don't quite have an answer for that one. Heck, half the time I don't even know what to do with mine." She said.
Vianne wasn't sure if she was actually succeeding in comforting him or not. She was worried that she was only making things worse. But she was going to keep trying anyway. Then she had a lightbulb moment. "Hey, here's an idea, we could be buddies! We could be friends and figure out this crap together. Come on, what do you say? I keep you from losing it and attacking people, you keep me from going nutso and losing control, it's a win-win! We can learn to control our powers together and we can help each other. I feel a bit guilty, though, your job's harder." She joked a little bit, trying to make some light of the situation. Of course, Vi was too distracted to take much notice of the fire. It didn't quite register in her forgetful mind that she was still hugging him, and that getting burned might not be fun.

Raymond listened to her, feeling better slowly. She may have been right, he wasn't no monster from hell. His mind finally registered he was ablaze. "Uh... I'm on fire..." His voice was distorted as he spoke, and yes, he was still fearful, but she seemed to make him feel less and less like a monster, and more like a regular guy. Her idea seemed like it would work, and with as far fetched as it seemed, it was worth a shot in the dark. His flames seemed as if they were set on simmer, his gaze out towards the water.
Clearly, he was starting to loose the rough edge he had carried for six years, and she seemed to be the one making him lose it.

"Hmm?" Puzzled, Vianne looked to see that he was indeed on fire, even if it was only a simmer. "Oh, you are!" She gasped in realization, as if she had no idea. "Do you think that maybe I should stop hugging you now? I don't know, it might be a good idea. I was already struck by lightning tonight, I don't think I need to get burned on top of that." Vi chuckled. She then let go of him and settled down beside him, crossing her legs.

Raymond took a few deep breaths, feeling the fires die as he calmed down. "I, uh didn't quite catch your name...." He said, turning to look at her as his head rested on his arms. At least there was someone there that was near his age, and could possibly calm him down when he lost his cap on his anger. "I'm Ray...or Raymond, either one works." He said in his quiet voice as his eyes looked over the girl, since they met when she was just a ball of electricity.

She grinned. "Vianne Lygon, but you can call me Vi. Nice to meetcha, Ray." She then offered to shake hands, either completely forgetting that he was just on fire, or simply not even caring.

He extended his hand out to hers, feeling the need to comply to the gesture. It was odd that she hugged him before they exchanged names but they weren't normal to say the least. There went much to say about him, but she seemed to be an interesting girl. "Uh...thanks Vi. I uh appreciated that you came out here..." Ray was pausing in the middle of his sentences, but his tone was of gratitude. It wasn't that often someone would actually do that for him.

"Oh, no problem." Vi smiled. "Least I can do, right? I mean, after all, you helped me back there, so it's only fair." She then paused a moment. "Wait, there, fair... Hey, I totally rhymed at random! I'm a poet, and I didn't know it. Actually, no, I'd be a horrible poet. I would probably get distracted like halfway, totaly forget what I was doing, and start making stuff up from there." She chuckled.

Raymond let a small smile show as he listened to her ramble for a moment. She seemed to be the opposite of him, light and carefree. A counter balance for his fiery personality. "Isn't that all poetry? Making things up?" He questioned, raising a eyebrow at her words. He wasn't much of a talker when he was in his normal phase, so a few sentences was an accomplishment for someone.

"Hmm..." Vianne thought for a moment. "Uh, I guess, I dunno." She chuckled. "I don't know much about poetry, really. I don't really read it or anything, I just know it rhymes." She chuckled a bit. Vi then picked up a small rock that was sitting on the ground beside her. She tossed it up, catching it once. Then she tossed it into the water, hoping it would skip across the surface. She blinked as it instead hit the water with a kerplunk, and sunk down to the bottom.

Raymond watched the girl throw the rock, attempting to skip it. He frowned slightly at her end result. "Listen, you have to flick your wrist." He said as he picked up his own rock. He felt it, before he flicked it across the lake causing it to skip along the lake surface for three times before it sank. The pyro's head still remained on his arm, as the other moved back for another rock, and he handed it to her. "Try with this one, and flick your wrist."

Nathan had been bored, having nothing to do, and was trying to find something I do. "Eh, let's go see where Ray went" he said, walking towards where he had seen Ray go. "Let's just hope that if Vi is with him, she hasn't become a pyro too." He joked, walking towards the lake. He got there a little bit before Vi tried to skip the stone, and decided to just watch from the trees. "I'll jump in if I need to." He started to float up some rocks and circling them around him.

Vi took the stone and looked out across the water. As she held the rock in her hand, her body slowly became as tough as stone. With a flick of her wrist, she sent the rock flying at the water, watching as it skipped across the surface. "Yay, it skipped!" She grinned.

Asa continued to help around when she noticed that her nose felt itchy and irritated on the inside. Was it all that sawdust that billowed around from the collapsed buildings? It was starting to inflame her throat as well. She wondered about it until she saw Shane by himself, talking to the air. "Are you OK?" she asked calmly, striding up to him and turning her head down to see him properly. Shane never seemed as alarmed by her strange height as most of the residents in the camp. She liked it, because she felt at least somewhat normal around him.

He smiled at her as she did it. Ray continued to watch the water's surface, a strange tranquility coming over him. The pyro made a small satisfied sigh, as he listened to the girl cheer about skipping her rock across. "See how easy it is? It takes a bit of practice..." Raymond looked around. "Do you think we should head back?" He questioned, lifting his head from his arms.
