Work on Mr Cuddles more!!! He evolves at level 39, and he looks beast.

I have the greatest strategy for my Gengar: I make him hold the Gengarite, and have the moves Toxic and Venoshock (I have Dark Pulse and A Ghost move too, can't remember name) I super trained him to be speedy as well. So this is what happens:
Turn 1: Mega Evolve, use Toxic.
Turn 2: Use Venoshock. Venoshock doubles in power when tareget is poisoned, Gengar is a poison type, and Mega Gengar has even better attack. Opponent is K.O.

I completed the main story last night. Now my opinion of the game is:

Meh, what a pathetic villain. I was expecting Team Flare to show up even stronger than before at the end of the main story, but no. You just don't say that you will grant eternal life and underwhelmingly disappear like that. It was incredibly anticlimactic. Team Plasma still holds the title of the most interesting villainous group in a pokemon game for me. I digress though, I thought Team Flare's motive of mass genocide was really gutsy to include in a pokemon game and I liked it for being a mature theme.

And what was the point of the legendaries? There's no backstory about them and when you catch them it's severely underwhelming. What does it mean now that you have a Kalos legendary? Absolutely nothing, no character mentions the importance of having one and the representation of the pokemon isn't even incorporated into the story. Xerneas is the life pokemon, Yvetal, the death/destruction pokemon. There could've been a great plot surrounding those two, but instead you hear a useless backstory, catch it and that's the end of that.


I really apologise for my rant, but the massive amount of hype surrounding the game did not live up to it's expectations for me. Apart from all that, I still liked the game since I only didn't like three aspects of it, there were still many more things I liked.


When I figure out how to trade, can someone trade me a Porygon?

Thinking of restarting my game again.Sigh.The aftergame is really boring except for collecting all the megastones which I have done.I want to make a new team:

Greninja
Sylveon
Alakazam or Gengar(they would be mega)
Noivern
Gourgeist
Fire type.

What do you guys think?

So I finally defeated the Champion, though it wasn't expecting that particular person to be champ, the reveal was pretty underwhelming, the battle was decent though. ^.^
Could somebody tell me all the Post-Game stuff to do?
All I've done so far is catch Zygrade and Mewtwo.

You get it in victory road.You need rocksmash to get it.It is in the outside section where there is a tower and it is at the front of the tower.

Also game breaking glitch,be careful when saving in Lumose because it may break your game as it did mine.It only works outside though because I used to always save in poke centers.

Go to mystery gift in the start menu, then click via wireless or internet, cannot remember which. Then you get a Torchic with the ability Speed Boost (Every turn his speed rises) and it holds a Blazekinite. This event is on until the end of the year, but it is a very worthwile pokemon and dominte. He even beats the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 8th gym with his Fire/Fighting typing easily.
