"I'm Scott," Scott said. "This is Delgato, Alyx's brother." "And you say she attacked you?" "I don't know why she would just randomly attack someone."

"She did attack me. I'm Matilda. Nice to meet you." Matilda said shyly.

"Nice to meet you too." Scott replied. "Can you help us get Alyx back home?"

Matilda nodded.
"I'm quite strong. I can help." she said. She grabbed Alyx's scruff and began to drag her behind Delgato.

Scott watched for trouble as they dragged Alyx back to the alcove.

When they reached the alcove, Matilda set Alyx down and was about to run off when Delgato pinned her down.
"You're not going anywhere." he growled.

Alyx moaned in pain, but was still out cold.

Lila went over to Alyx and looked her over. "I don't think any of her wounds are too serious, but we'll have to check later." Scott went over to Delgato and Matilda and asked, "Do you know why Alyx came after you?"

Matilda shook her head as Delgato let her up.

Scott went up to Delgato and whispered, "Is she staying with us, or leaving?"

"Staying. For now." growled Delgato.

Scott nodded and went back over to Matilda. "Looks like you can stay with us for the time being." He said.

Matilda sniffed.
"I don't want to but he'll attack me again if I try to run, so what choice do I really have?" she inquired.

Scott put a paw on Matilda's shoulder and replied, "I know this is all very sudden for you, but we should wait until Alyx wakes up and tells us her side of the story before you decide whether to leave or not. And if you want to talk, I'll be here." Scott walked back over to Delgato and said, "You should lie back down. Your wound needs more time to heal." Lila looked up at Matilda and said, "You should rest."

Matilda sniffed.
"I don't need rest." she growled.

Delgato headed off and laid down.

"Suit yourself," Lila replied. She limped over to Scott and said, "Okay, this is starting to get weird."

Alyx was out for awhile, but at last, she woke. Blinking, she looked around.

Lila walked over to Alyx, her eyes full of concern. "Are you alright?" She asked, offering a paw to help her up.

Alyx stood.
"My head hurts, but that's it." she muttered.

Matilda blinked her violet blue eyes. She was on her shy jumpy side once again.

"Alyx, why did you attack this wolf?" Scott asked. "She said she was defending herself."

Alyx growled.
"Because I thought she was heading toward us."

"I wasn't even thinking of heading your way!" snarled Matilda.

Lila stepped between them and said, "Guys, we don't need to fight."
"You're right, Lila," Scott replied. "How about this, you two agree to not fight each other again, and Matilda can leave if she wants to."

Matilda sniffed.
"No one can ever not fight again. It's impossible. Destiny will cause collision at some point." she growled and she began to pad off.

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.

OOC: You're totally fine!

OOC: yeah, it's alright!

Alyx sighed. She ached all over.

"Good riddance." Growled Delgato as he watched Matilda leave.

Lila went up to Alyx and asked, "Do you have any serious injuries?"

Alyx shook her head.
"No. I'm just tired." she said.

Delgato looked his sister over.
"Alyx, don't you try hiding the wound on your flank. I can see it." he growled.

"More herbal paste and cobwebs are required!" Scott exclaimed, running outside to fetch more.

Alyx smiled and Delgato went to lay down.

Scott came back with the herbs and chewed them into a pulp again. He spat the mixture out and spread it on Alyx's wound. He held it in place while Lila grabbed some cobwebs and placed them over the paste to hold it in place.

OOC: amazingSpyro, have you read the Warriors series?

Alyx sighed and drifted off to sleep.

Matilda walked across the plains with a sigh. She was hungry, so she was heading in the direction of her prey she had buried.

OOC: Matilda could run into the group chasing Scott.

Growl walked around, the sun rising. She decided to hunt before the hottest part of the day.

OOC: Yes, I have! It's one of my favorite book series! Have you?
And that sounds like a good idea. I'd like to see how that could turn out. With everyone injured except Scott......... Hmmmmm....

Lila laid back down also, and Scott went outside to keep watch.

OOC: It's a good series indeed! And I think it's a good idea too. I guessed you've read the series because of how Scott turned the herbs into a paste and used cobwebs like in the books.

Matilda was close to her prey, but she stopped, hearing many paws.

Delgato laid down.

Scott kept an eye out for trouble as he watched the horizon.

Meanwhile, the leader of the wild dog pack chasing Scott had rounded up most of his packmates when he caught Matilda's scent on the air. He could faintly detect the scents of Scott, the cheetah, and the two wild dogs also. "She must have been with them recently." He thought. "Follow me," he said to his packmates, leading them in the direction of Matilda.

Matilda scented pack dogs and looked to see a pack coming in her direction. She immediately took off at full speed, her muscles rippling under her white fur as she bounded gracefully away.

Scott thought that he heard some howls far away, but he could not tell for sure.

The pack was continuing after Matilda, and the leader snarled, "Don't let her get away!"

Alyx pricked her ears at the sound of howls.
"Delgato. It's Matilda." she whispered to Delgato.

Delgato nodded and stood. He quietly padded past Scott, then took off at full speed.

Matilda looked to see the pack still behind her.
"Curses!" she muttered as she ran.

"Hey, wait for me!" Scott called. "I'm coming too!"

The pack leader sent two of his fastest scouts to flank and intercept Matilda."Don't let her get away!" He called.

The scouts had caught up to Matilda. She skittered to a halt and looked around. She was trapped, with nowhere to go.

Delgato bounded across the plains.

Scott speeded after Delgato, finally catching him with some effort. "What's the plan when we find her?" He asked. "I mean, we're running blind here, with no idea what we're up against." "And with your injury, you have to be careful."

The scouts cornered Matilda and waited for the pack to catch up. When the leader made it over to Matilda, he pinned her down and whispered, "Where are the wolf, cheetah, and wild dogs?" "And I know you know, because I can smell them on your fur, so don't try to lie."

"I won't tell you anything." snarled Matilda.

"We're up against that dog pack. We're gonna have to talk because you're the only one uninjured." growled Delgato. The two arrived at the scene with Matilda.

"But how will we negotiate with them?" Scott asked Delgato. "I mean, they hate us."

Delgato shook his head.
"I don't know." he growled. He turned to look at the leader of the pack and barked, "Hey. Let her go."

"Y..yeah, let her go!" Scott yipped.

The pack leader whipped his head around toward Scott and Delgato with a sly grin on his face and said, "Now why would I do that?"

OOC: Yay! Please join, Eevee. I have also read the Warriors series, one of us should make a RP for it!

OOC: Lol yes!

Matilda sunk her teeth into the lead dog's paw with a growl.

Delgato snarled.

OOC: That would be awesome! We should totally do that!

The lead dog yelped, but then sunk his teeth into Matilda's neck.

"No!" Scott cried, leaping at the lead dog.
