Wow... I can't believe I never noticed this topic. >_> Anyway, no I don't think an egg can happen or will happen. There are a number of reasons for this. The first one is the idea of Spyro & Cynder actually growing up. Spyro's gone through ten years and this most recent game had him at the oldest age in his small history. Actually having him grow up would be the hammer and nail in this game series' coffin (and at the moment it's not on the thickest patch of ice) seeing as the whole point of this is that Spyro is supposed to a young, adventurous dragon, and having him grow up would ruin that theme. On top of all this, controlling a Spyro adult would be impossible. I can't see a Spyro game working with Spyro twice or thrice his current size (this latest installment brought horrible camera control second to ETD), the fundamentals would be completely out of whack and the gameplay would be clunky.

And then there's the problem of the storyline itself. It would make the game incredibly sappy and a tad bit awkward (a game built entirely around romance
has really never existed and is destined for an EPIC PHAIL). And in order for something like this to happen, Spyro would end up undergoing YET ANOTHER personality change. The one he went through for the Legend trilogy wasn't very good and made him so unbearable innocent I wanted to yank my hair out. I don't think his character could survive another personality change.

So, in conclusion: this is the idea that could end this series. I think Sierra is smart enough not to age the duo past their current age... at least, I hope they're smart enough. <_<

but spyro HAS to grow up! and so does cynder! they also need to produce MORE DRAGONS. maybe you could play as their kids. like, two player co-op. spyro and cynder could have twins, one boy, and one girl. easy. and they can be children at that time. intill they grow up that is... u know wat i mean.

Not necessarily. It is perfectly possible for the remaining games to be produced in a timeline that keeps that at an adolescent stage. If they grow up, the series ends with that particular game. They can't make a future game and have it be a Spyro game after that. It just doesn't work that way. Case in point, stick to fanfictions if you want adult dragons. =_="

And ik u ppl will probably hate me for saying this, but they're kids could go die in a hole for all i care. All i want is for Spyro, Cynder, Sparx and all the other TLOS characters to stay alive.
