Once again I would have shaken my head but being stone, I cannot.

"I don't think its that simple son. You see I was turned to stone by Scar long ago and for years I've been like this. Therefore the spell is so much stronger now than its ever been. Also son, you must know I am an outcast to the dragons. I have been since I was born. I had a few friends but most of dragon kind will always hate me."

Name: Aussir
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Powers: Aussir specializes mainly in the cold(er) elements. He can freeze things with hs frost breath, create snow with a gentle blow, and other things of that nature. Though he shares the same telepathic abilities of his brother, they are much more limited and he can not directly initiate them. He could telepathically reply to another, for instance, but cannot hold the connection himself.
Appearance: Similar to Calti, but white instead of tan(ish). His eyes are also red, rather than blue. (Image not be me...)
Personality: Compared to his counterpart, Aussir can be more serious and is more optimistic.
Story: Aussir is the long lost older brother of Calti and processes abilities rare to their specific species of dragon. Like his brother, his history begins with the slaughtering of their parents. Unlike Calti, however, he escaped and avoided capture. He flew away 'till he saw a small caravan fighting off several vicious creatures (not vampires, not dragons, not important). He managed to save the caravan's life, whom promised to take him somewhere safe... away from the slavers. They took him to another kingdom (the one mentioned in Calti's story), where dragons were a rare sight and less of a target. There... he was raised by the caravaners, though he was actually treated with respect. At a later date, he went out searching for his brother, whom wouldn't even remember him. Owing his life to the dragon, the main caravanner (and his caretaker) starting delving into the slave market. They weren't really though and it was merely an attempt to gain information. They occasionally "brought" dragons in the names of "others", but freed them shortly afterwards. After a few years and learning about all of Calti's previous owners, they eventually suspected the vampires. This is when Aussir flew off on his own, hoping to find Calti and not get killed in the process.
Other: Though he knows about Calti, Calti knows nothing about him.

"I hear them. Come on." Vikky said. She ran down the steps while carrying the statue.

Connor followed close behind the others.

OOC: His name is Baeser.

I speak telepathically to my son.

"Well you my son and your friends are exception. Most hate me."

As the group heads down the stairs, the last one in notices something out of the corner of their eye. A white dragon flies overhead, nether noticing the group nor the stairs.

I don't!" Connor said to Icestorm.

Reaching into the mind of the other dragon with telepathy I speak to him.

"Why don't you come down, young one, no one will hurt you. They are all nice. The young ones would enjoy your company as well. I will be the statue you see with Vikky. I was turned to stone long ago and have been stone ever since."

As the dragon begins to land, he sends back an telepathic reply. "I am looking for someone, but very well. I suppose I could come down..."

I sense a similar connection that I felt with Calti and then I reply telepathically.

"Aussir, you're Calti's brother aren't you? Well you should come down, friend. It will be nice to meet you in person even if all I can do is gaze at you."

Now on the ground, Aussir proceeds to head towards the stairs. "That would be correct, though I doubt he even knows of my existence. You know him?," he telepathically asks back.

I telepathically reply.

"Yes, he and I are good friends. I'm a permanent statue till I am freed. I cannot do anything but gaze around and speak to others through telepathy."

Aussir reaches the stairs and proceeds to descend them. "I feel sorry for you. That must be quite frustrating as well as irritating.," he telepathically replies back. As he descends further down the stairs, he takes a quick glance at everyone in the group. He lets off a ever-so-slight sigh, as if disappointed by something. The stone dragon, to whom he was currently telepathically communicating with, could sense these feelings and how they related to his search for Calti.

I open my eyes and gaze at him with my eyes before replying telepathically.

"Take heart Aussir, we will free your brother and destroy the vampires forever. At least you guys can move. I'm a statue," I say simply.

Aussir looks down sadly and nods, as if in understandment. "In my search for him, I have learned all about what he has been through. What I have taken for granted, freedom, he has never had the chance to experience. We were separated at quite a young age and he would been literally been raised in captivity.," he telepathically replies back. He gazes at the stone dragon. "Tell me; has he become content with his current life or does he desire... more?," he telepathically asks... curious about how lifelong captivity affects one's mind.

I telepathically reply.

"He no longer tries to escape for he knows he cannot. He's grown accustomed to it, I'm afraid. I myself have become accustomed to being a statue after all these years as one. Though if it is possible to free me from this curse, I would like to be free."

Aussir telepathically replies back, "I had a feeling you would say that and that is quite a shame. Having grown up in a free environment, I couldn't imagine going through that and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone." He shakes his head and continues, "...especially my own brother. I should have done something, I should have come sooner, I should have..." He lets off another sigh and the stone dragon could feel his regret and remorse.

I gaze at him and speak telepathically to him as a father would to a son.

"My child you did all you could for your brother. If you had done anything else you'd be a prisoner like him or worse be dead. Now do not despair we will free your brother and you will be united again. Then you can start your lives over again as brothers enjoying freedom together. I shall have a son of my own to spend time with once I am freed, but I will never be able to experience the extent of freedom you will. For I am an outcast of dragon kind."

Aussir telepathically replies, "I certainly hope so. It's not right what the humans and vampires have done to our kind... and neither is what has happened to you. Though I, myself, have been quite fortunate... there are not many who can say that. Where both him and I originate from, most of the dragon population knows captivity. We have become a prize for the rich, a symbol of one's wealth, something to trade and sell, and something to exploit. It's a shame really and I hope eventually all dragons can experience freedom."

I close my eyes and reply telepathically.

"I'm sure they will my child, in time."

Vikky reached the bottom of the steps. A wall blocked their path. Vikky started to sing a song in the language. The wall started to disappear. "Home" Vikky said quietly as she carried the statue inside and waited for the others.

Aussir waited and let the others go in first, not wanting to seem rude or intrusive.

"Don't worry, you are safe here with us." Vikky said to Aussir

Aussir nods and proceeds inside, "Thank-you..."

Connor follows Vikky inside.

Vikky walked around her underground home. She blew rainbow fire on the walls to light it up. There were soft leaves everywhere. "Welcome to my safe home. My other home is not far from here but it is dangerous" Vikky said.

"Wow! Your home is impressive!" Connor said to Vikky.

Too bad I do't ave this nice of a home. COnnor thought to himself.

OOC: recap please

OOC: While fighting off the vampires, Calti showed up and helped. Icestorm refused to leave without him, but he informed them that he couldn't 'till Scar was killed. They (with the exception of Calti) escape and Vikky leads them to her underground home. Aussir, Calti's older brother, shows up and has a long telepathic conversation with the stone dragon whose name I cannot remember. They all enter Vikky's home and Icestorm reassures Aussir that they will free his brother. That's where we are now.

Elicora sat in a corner of Vikky's home as she fazed into a shadow, hoping no one would see her.

As Aussir walked around Vikky's home, he was quite impressed. Beautiful... (he thought) He looked at Icestorm, "I can tell that you are a great warrior as well and Calti is lucky to have friends like you."

Elicora looked around the house. Elicora fazed back from being a shadow as she looked around.

Connor continued to gaze at the inside of Vikky's home.

Aussir tilts his head in curiosity and asks, "...and what exactly would that be?"

Aussir nods, "If you wish to teach me, I am willing to learn. You have a great amount of experience and I would be forever grateful."

I speak telepathically to my son, Icestorm.

"If you think this is amazing and beautiful wait till you see our home. Its been made to series of magnificent temples restored to their former glory. It took a lot of work but it was worth it. I will continue to add onto it as soon as I am free. Its kind of a hobby of mine, making homes out of nothing."

"I'll be right back. I'm going to get food" Vikky said as she flew out of the cave home, the wall closing behind her.
