<Chapter 18: Where?!>

All the dragons were back at the temple. They couldn't find Volteer and Ignitus in the vision pool room, so they tried the balcony.
"Ah, young dargons," Volteer said as he saw them. "Ignitus has completly dissappeard."
Before anyone could comment Sparx whoosed into the room and hugged Spyro around the neck so hard Spyro nearly choked. Lava helped and pulled Sparx off.
Tornada knew what would happen. she thoght, Going, Going..
"BUDDY! Volteer nearly talked his head off! God, I wish I had come with you! Wait.... Aren't you dead!?" Sparx screamed. "I just hugged a ghost! The good side is that Iggy isn't here to tell me off if i bathe in the pool of 'Visions'....." he said as he flew off screaming for his mum.
Gone!
"He is as wacko as before and I suspect that burning is someones theasaurs..." Spyro commented.
Sparx had already 'bathed' and was buring Volteer's theasuars. "Darn dragon! he talks his head off allll the time can't get a single comment in...." Spyro was evasdraopping anfd thought to himself, Look who's talking!
"ahm" Volteer got everyones attention again. "Ignitus has been gone for ages. Just after you left he did too. And wecome back young dragon."
"Mm. Yes but we must rescue Ignitus."Terrador chimed in. He and Cyril had escaped.
"Yes, but where is he?" Eclipse said.
"More than likely at Cynder's new castle in Convexity." Cyril informed them.
" oh."
"Spyro, I need to talk to you, in private." Terrador asked.
"Yes." Spyro answered, puzzled.
In the vision room Terrador told Spyro this; "Young dragon. Cynder has been corrupted with more black magic than we thought possible. To save the world you have to make great sacrifice. If you battle her and win, it will not be like ast time. She will be gone, forever. She won't return to her normal size. "
Spyro shook his head in disbelief. "No. I can't. I...I can't tell you why. I..I just have something with her!" He said and turned around.
"Yes. I know. I know it more then you will ever know. But Spyro you have to be strong!"
"I wish i had never come here. Never met you all. My life would be alot eaiser!" Spyro Shouted and run out of the temple to who knows where.

<Chapter 19: Queen of darkness>

Ignitus flew and flew and flew. Convexity seemed years away. suddenly the blue portal that signaled that Convexity was in habited emergered and sooner than he thought the old dragon would be facing Cynder. She roared when she realized what he was doing. She lunged. Ignitus dodged but she bit his tail spike.
"You won't survive this, dragon!" and flew at him again. He wasn't so quick and got sctratched by her longer-and-sharper-than-natural claws.


Spyro ran and ran untill he thought he would collapse. He sat and started to think.
"This can't happen. It doesn't!"
Then he looked up and saw to disturbingly fimilar figures. "No..."

Ignitus looked down and knew she was coming for her last bite. He closed his eyes and pleaded to the ansestors that they would look after Spyro and Cynder. Suddenly a huge bang crackled and Cynder was trapped in an electricity orb.
"Go! Ignitus, go, NOW!" Spyro shouted.
Ignitus flew and landed. He could go quicker on land. and he couldn't really fly, Cynder had bit his left wing so it hurt when he moved it.

Cynder grunted. "You again!" She said as she chraged and hit Spyro. One of her horns punctured his wing, preventing flight. And since they were fighting in the air Spyro dropped out of the sky like a stone into water.
He hit hard. He was ingered but not defeated. She breathed on him. "Don't you remember anything? Not even us? Not even..me?" Cynder hesitated as if she was thinking. "No. But I do remember my master telling me to kill you!"
"WAIT!" he shouted as she lunged. She stopped. "who is this master?"
"The dark one. He rules all."
"the dark master..." he wispered to himself. even he can't be pure evil, so Cynder should still have her memories, but ids deninying them to enter her brain...
" Do you remember when we stared out on to that starry night? when you said you felt and evil was on the horizon? Do you remember it? Do you?"
She shook her beastly head. She knew about that how? Suddenly she blacked out.
Spyro watched as she collapsed. "I did it. I killed her!" He started crying. Crying was very weird for a dragon since they cry only once in their lifetimes. He watched through his tears as she shrunk.
"How?..." She was back to her normal size. He walked up to her. he smiled. She was alive, just blacked out. He smiled and picked her up and flew to the temple.

Well, the first part.

Spyro remembered what had happened last time, he braced himself for a hard landing. Suddenly, Cynder opened her eyes and took control. She grabbbed him noticing that his eyelids were slowly closing. She started flying hard, to get out of the poisonus gas cloud of the portal.
"Come on..."
"Cyn..." Spyro passed out.
"Humph. Its always the girls left standing." Cynder moaned.
WHOOSH. And they were at the door of the dragon temple.
"Ignitus?" Cynder called.
Evif opened the door.
"Cynder? Spyro? Is that really you?! You've been gone weeks!"
"Weeks?" Cynder asked as Spyro revived.
"Yes, time goes faster in Convexity." he said weakly.

"Come in, quickly. Xis is sick, very sick."
Spyro and Cynder dashed in. They soon came to the sleeping quarters. Xis was on her bed.
"Xis! Whats wrong?"
"She was attacked by an elite ape."
