Even with Mods, it'll still happen. It could be deminished, but not stopped.
Just keep that in mind, guys.
Don't expect that everything will suddenly get perfect.

...That's expected. No where is 100% troll-free, but the best websites have members who can contain it.

It doesn't so Dark can stick topics - so mods might have that power too. It's not exactly a very important power, so it wouldn't really make much a difference.

I think there are some users here that would be fantastic for the moderator position. The users I have in mind all have the ability to keep calm, but handle situations efficiently.

Here's what I think:

If I do become a mod, I would grab someone (preferably a close friend who knows how I react to things but doesn't feel sorry for me when I overreact and just tells me to calm down) who would help me near the beginning. Then, that same person would test me every once in a while, and decide whether or not I need them any more. When I don't, I would finally know that I could put aside overreactions and do what's right for the site, in the end.

I want to help the site more than any other user might. But I do have that major flaw that I'd need to fix pronto if I ever was qualified for mod.

I also want to do what's best for the site and the people on it. But I'm not sure if I can.



That sounds fine. It would be good to have some guidance from a friend. Especially if that friend is a mature, sensible person, such as Carm or Wspyro.

I would just go for it. Honestly, it isn't like Dark would ban you for being a bad moderator. If it turns out that the job just isn't for you, you could just go back to being a normal user. Besides, it could act as a learning experience for all of us.

I did came to a conclusion that I will run. Remembering those times that I felt that I couldn't delete those porn topics and some topics that I've seen that are too much for users, I decided that it be best to give it my all to become one. People that I would like to see as Mods would be Carm, Bionicle, and Aura. I sencirely hope that these users do get the position as Mods.

Oh jeeze, not this again.

Have more gems ≠ being more mature.

I knew when I was a Red sparx, there were MANY users who were idiotic and rude but they had more gems then I had. This site only does respect for those who earn it, not those who have a higher gem count. Really, the gem count only symbolizes how much you go on this site to be honest. Pokemonmaster, please realize that if you want to be a mod you also have to act like it.

I can tell you right now that you're not.
