I believe it doesn't matter, Aura. Many swears and offending gestures are used on this site, still I fail to see Dark blocking these nor kids getting offended.

Just because people or kids don't post on here that they are offended doesn't mean that they are not. If a parent walks by and sees Kappa's TFB "typo" some parents might get the wrong idea and a kid gets in trouble for being on here. Same with the eye-brawl pic. Does it really "hurt" or "offend" me? No. Does it show how immature some people can be? Yes.

The whole I'm sure they have seen something worse on the internet defense doesn't fly here either. It's kind of like the whole if your friend jumps from a bridge are you going to jump also? Scenario.

One last point, people get on other users who are usually new ones for posting in wrong section or advertising or what not. This avatar, I think, would fall under the no inappropriate language rule. Since most of us know what the meaning of it is. So everyone can't pick and chose what rules they will enforce or what rules they will follow.

Images are considered just as liable as the words in your posts... even more so because the forum sensors cannot block any inappropriate content in the image. Now I haven't seen the avatars in question, nor do I really feel like even bothering to go find them because I'm guessing they're either deleted or buried somewhere in this topic, which I frankly don't care about it. But it's still not fair to other members that Kappa should get to post avatars with possible offensive language or bad content while OUR posts are moderated for the exact same thing.

In fact, the ONLY moderated messages I've EVER gotten were for posting images that had a very minor swear in them on the forum. I protested, naturally, but it was refuted. So you're yelling at a user who's just trying to make sure everyone's following the rules and keeping things fair? That seems like a very good response to the situation. You could consider lobbying with dark to ease up on the censors, so that no one has this problem anymore in the future, but instead you're attacking a member who, frankly, is just trying to make sure Kappa is following the rules so he DOESN'T GET BANNED. I don't think many of you would like that, and I know I would much rather have someone report a post than for dark to discover multiple incidents and Gnorc or ban me.

Now of course there's the possibility there's nothing wrong. But as I said, I'm too lazy to find whatever the questionable content is. And to be honest, if you REALLY need to put questionable content and/or language in your avatar, you're probably not on the right website to begin with.

What I don't get is why people think it is okay to sit here and go off on Aura for pointing out something that is in clear violation of the site rules. We can't make exceptions for certain people to be able to not follow the rules. I also find it funny how other people have commented about the kappatar being inappropriate yet you guys seem to just gloss over those. Why don't you guys say anything about us? Is it because you know that it should be changed? I think so.
