Any news on wave 3, I know its not much new stuff but I'm tired of sharing my Shroom Boom with my partner!

Haven't seen any Wave 3 yet. So far stores like EB Games and others do not yet have release dates.
I thought it would be mid-January, but it is looking to be more like early-February.

Eb games has 2 of the skylanders mega bloks construction sets and the battle arena coming on the 8th of february, so my guess is thats when we'll see wave 3, or unfortunately, later than that, as none of wave three has a date yet.

Wave 2 of skylanders was released before the Mega Bloks sets, so I don't think they will all be released at the same time.
However to have it around that date or earlier would be good.

Same as a few others, saw GITD Frightrider at local Kmart. Dang I love it when variants are way too common for scalpers to bother.

Anyone know why they ended up at kmart. when they were supposed to be a JB Hifi exclusive.

I do feel sorry for the suckers that paid $100 for one.

Although I did pick up an extra which I hope to trade later on.

I'm guessing that not enough people brought the starter pack from JB Hi-Fi in order to get the GITD Fright Rider.
So JB Hi-Fi probably sold them to Kmart. Something like that I reckon.

Too bad none of the other variants are that common.

I've managed to find the four Mega Bloks battle portals so far, but i just wanted to ask, before i started doing massive searches, does anyone know if any of the construction sets are out here in australia? I don't want to go searching round lots of places to find out later that they aren't even here yet.

Nibelilt found a Sparkle Sprocket in the wild.

For the reocord, I was at my local KMart a couple of days ago (i.e. *after* XMas) and they still had lots of GITD F/Riders.

The Big W stores I have visited still have a few of Hot Head available. But I agree that most stores have him out of stock.

So far the most common lately are Bouncer & Swarm.
Also I have seen a huge number of Sprocket. Pretty much every store I have been to has had at least 10.

Yeah, we're low on stock, lots of Leg Stealth Elf, but it's stocktake now, so we won't be getting any until after the 15th, hopefully we will I need to hunt for pearlies =p and get some I don't have yet.

Was going to grab a second GITD Fright other day...but thought against it, although I will if they have one next week, did see one that had a very bent spear though, felt sorry for it, no one will buy it...unless I feel extra sorry for it if it's still there.

I saw a GITD Fright Rider where he looked like he was about to come off the ostrich.
Out of about the 15-20 I saw recently, only about 4 of them had straight spears.

Also I asked a staff member in EB Games and they claimed that Wave 3 doesn't have a
release date yet but should be expected in February.

Just registered to let you guys know that Ingle Farm KMart in SA has 20 - 30 Wham Shells available for $10 each.

Also the Tea Tree Plaza KMart has Camo, Warnado & Dino Rang for $10 each.

(Both had other S1 figures as well, but I was just looking for the Retiring 8 - KMart seem to be clearing out all S1 for $10).

All the Dick Smiths I've been to have Voodood for $12 and the one in Adelaide CBD also has 2 copies of Pirate Adventure Pack left for $24 (I've not seen that in stock anywhere else).

Also picked up Dragon's Peak at Dick Smith for $24 to get Sunburn, but a lot of places still have stock of that.

The only ones that are hard to find in Aus are Ghost roaster (darklight crypt), Boomer and Wham shell. I wonder if the Kmart having 20 wham shells is a fluke or they got new stock in because I have seen whammy anywhere.

Yeah I literally did a double take - Stealth Elf... Sonic Boom... Stump Smash... Cynder... Wham Shell... WHAM SHELL.

Still trying to find Boomer & Ghost Roaster - probably need to resort to eBay.

Check Eb games, I got a pre owned Boomer from them couple weeks ago, was traded in the day before as well, al after I got my mum to send me one from uk as well.

What? At my Target there were 2 Darklight Crypts.. cardboard at the top a bit bent. I've seen every Adventure Pack in the last one, except for the one with Terrafin.

I live in the Gold Coast and of the Series 1 figures, Boomer is the rarest.
Followed by Darklight Crypt, Warnado (single) and Wrecking Ball (single).

Also I have seen tons or Stealth Elf, Drobot, Stump Smash, Cynder, Zook, Camo, Empire of Ice,
Dino-Rang and Dragon's Peak.

But since I have them all it doesn't matter much to me.


Any updates on Wave 3?

On a bargain site, a guy that works for Kmart at Firle in SA mentioned he saw 7 Crystal Cynders and one stealth elf while unpacking their stock...damn someone would have hit the jackpot finding those! Also realize it could have been bull, but the numbers of series 1 figures that are hitting Kmarts, its not impossible.

Having seen the condition of the displays, as per usual they had been picked over by the more spritely collectors.

Also did not see mentioned the series 1 figures will be $5 bucks on Thursday...there goes my chance of getting another Wham shell lol.

Anyone seen a Gnarly Tree Rex around? I'd like to get him but not too keen on having to buy another Wii.

Also, anyone who lives in Adelaide who can get me a series 1 Legendary 3-pack on ebay? I can pay you back when I have money. Just drop me a message and we'll sort something out.

Gnarly is only in the PS3 bundle in Australia.

So noones seen or heard about Scorpion Striker Battle Pack? Thumpback? Ninjini? Eye Brawl? Any of the Wave 3 Series 2 figures? How come we get it last

I messaged their facebook page. and they said, Nothing now but stay tuned or something along those lines. Having said that I'd agree with Chaos , probably not.

Tea Tree Plaza, SA - they have been getting both 'sets' of 6 S1 figures (most stores seem to get one set or the other).

i was there last night and the display had been taken down, where is the display now? Assume quite big if he found that many clears.

This was in the video game 'aisle' where they have the Giants stock - there were about 10 discarded stock boxes on the floor. There is also an 'end' display with just S1 figures by the AV counter that a staff member was still restocking.

Man! Must have been after I went in there as the Giants shelf was empty. I would have been happy with a Cynder! But when these command this much (including Wham sheel too) there is no chance any will be left behind by someone who knows their value. Activision think its a cool thing to have variants, but its only cool for the poeple that find them and sell them and the people with enough money to fork out for them.

Well bravo to the guy that got these....urrrg.

Have any of you found Hot Heads recently? All of my local stores don't have him, and my local Toys R Us doesn't have any Skylanders!

I havent seen any giants aside from Swarm and Bouncer. I think i saw 1 Crusher the other day

I don't know why there were heaps of wham shells in this K mart sale and the prices they are selling for now hardly make it worth scalping.

Darklight crypt on the hard if you can find one they are going for decent money on ebay.

Thanks got one, made preorder yesterday. Hot Dog is bigger than I expected, great figure. Wish there was some more respect for Zap, maybe a electro blast form his mouth or an electro wave coming out the front.

Hoping the regular scorpion striker comes out at Big W with Molten Hotdog.

I called my local EB and they had SS Battle Pack, but only for people who preordered it. That employee I was talking on the phone with he said they might have another type of Hot Dog >.> Molten?
