Can Ryuko see in the dark?)

"Yeah," Lucina nodded. "We should send a small group to look for him, and should they find him come back immediately and report."

Asuna agreed, glancing around at the sleeping figures. "Should we wake them and warn them, or is it safer here?" She questioned, feeling bad about waking them when they just fell asleep.

{ Meh. It's more so what Senketsu tells her is there. Did they move away from where Pitto previously was, or are they still there? Btw if Ryuko's gonna fight, make it an OP OP OP enemy, considering the only thing that can kill her is the blade she's holding }

To one with night vision, from Ryuko's current location two angels could be seen. Dark Pit was clearly one of them, though he was being forced into the ground. The second was female with short black hair. Her wings were black tipped with purple, and her fingertips were currently coated in shadows. She turned to see Ryuko, her bright green eyes glittering in the starlight before she appeared to simply disappear. Dark Pit's wings appeared to have a line of fresh burns along the edges, and he groaned.

"Whatever it is, they're stronger in the darkness," Lucina noted. "They should be fine."

"Okay. Let's leave someone here with the others, and the rest of us go look." Asuna responded, hoping to contribute to the plan.

Ryuko heard a noise, and turned to face the dark. Senketsu whispered something to her, and she raised her blade. "Dark Pit? Is that you?" She called, her voice deep.

Asuna glanced over at Ryuko, hearing her words and watching her point her sword into the darkness. She didn't say anything, in case Ryuko was dream-walking.

Dark Pit reacted with a small movement and a groan.

Lucina looked over curiously. What was Ryuko doing?

(I'mma sleep, night)

Ryuko glanced around before saying something under her breath. "Is there still someone else there." She demanded, glaring down at the angel.

Viridi took a step forward, but couldn't see anything in the darkness.

Asuna began walking towards Ryuko, worrying that she was seeing things. When she got close to Ryuko, her blade lit up the area, revealing Dark Pit.

{ Night! }

Dark Pit slowly got up off the ground, tentatively flapping his wings. He immediately regretted this action, biting his lip to keep from crying out in pain.

Lucina approached as well, wondering what was going on. She saw the angel and her eyes widened in surprise. "Well, I guess we found him?" she noted.

Viridi ran forward, but still stayed a ways away from Dark Pit. "Are you hurt?" She questioned, worried something had happened to him.

Asuna put her sword down, the light dimming slightly. "I suppose. Did he leave at all?"

Ryuko kept her scissor pointed at Dark Pit, not trusting the situation.

Lucina shrugged.

Dark Pit stood up. "Would you stop pointing that thing at me?" he growled at Ryuko. "It's not like I'm just gonna kill you for no reason."

Ryuko grunted in response, but didn't lower her blade.

Meliodas came out from the shadows, his footsteps silent. "He didn't leave the area. Whatever came here is silent, and extemely dangerous. We don't know the extent of the threat." He spoke for the first time, his voice high-pitched.

Dark Pit rolled his eyes before looking between the fire and the darkness. He didn't like fire, but he didn't want to encounter whoever had attacked him again.

"What's this?" Henry walked up to the group holding a black feather. There was purple at the tip, unlike any bird he'd ever seen.

Asuna walked over to Henry, and took the object he was holding. "It looks like a feather." She responded lightly.

Ryuko rolled her eyes, and let her arm fall. "Way to state the obvious." After a moment she glanced down, laughing to what seemed like nothing in particular. "What kind of feather is it though?"

"I dunno," Henry said. "I don't know any black and purple birds."

Dark Pit's eyes widened as they fell on the feather. He blinked a few times before looking away. He walked closer to the fire, but still far enough away that he was sure he wouldn't catch fire. He sat down, quiet.

Viridi's eyes followed Dark Pit until he sat down. Sighing, she walked over next to him. She paused, unsure of what to do next. "Can I sit?" She asked quietly.

Asuna gently gave the feather back to Henry, frowning. "I've never seen one in my world, either." She responded, her soft smile slowly fading.

Ryuko walked back over to the fire, lying down again.

"Sure," Dark Pit shrugged, careful to keep his wings still. It probably looked a little odd, but he didn't care.

"I can only think of Grima with any black and purple feathers, but he's dead and his feathers are darker anyway," Lucina put in.

Viridi noticed the way Dark Pit was holding his wings, and quietly sat. "Did it hurt you?" She questioned, not bothering to look at him as she said this.

Asuna continued studying the feather that was now being held by Henry. "So it wasn't 'Grima's' then." She responded, not knowing what to think of what was out there, just waiting to hunt them.

"Kind of. I'm fine though," Dark Pit murmured.

"No, thank the gods," Lucina said. "Henry-"

"Tharja has all the stalker-y magic, but I can find out the species!" Henry said, going to the other side of the fire.

Asuna was frowning at this point, a curious look in her eyes. "Tharja? Who's that, and why do they matter?"

"You know I'm here to heal, right?" Viridi paused, looking down. "Do you know who it is? The one who...attacked you?" She finished, lowering her voice.

"Tharja's a dark mage from the same place as Henry. She'd be pretty useful right now, she's really good at, as Henry put it, the stalker-y magic. She tends to follow Robin- our tactitian- around everywhere," Lucina explained.

"Like I said, I'm fine," Dark Pit insisted. "No. I have no idea who it was. They did say something, and they had hands for sure."

"So...you're going to try to bring her here?" Asuna answered, her voice barely audible.

"Sometimes, I just wish you'd let me help you." Viridi started, trying not to look at Dark Pit. "That's a great description. Someone who can talk and who has hands. That narrows it down to about 90% of the people here."

"It's all I know, okay?" Dark Pit snapped. "Did you expect me to interrogate them or something? I was too busy hoping they wouldn't kill me to do anything!" He looked away from Viridi, feeling almost guilty for getting as frustrated as he did.

"No, Henry was just saying that he can't find whatever attacked with just a feather," Lucina clarified. "Tharja can, but she's not here, and I doubt we can get her here."

Asuna didn't say anything for a while. "Don't bring her here. Not if she has a family."

Viridi closed her eyes before responding. "No, I didn't expect you to. Just...never mind. It's not important, we'll find out who it is some other way."

"Tharja? A family?" Henry laughed from where he sat. "That's hilarious! She's THARJA."

"I guess, yeah," Dark Pit's wings fluttered subconsciously and he gave a small hiss of pain.

Asuna gave a slightly forced smile, as if what Henry said made sense. "Either way, we don't know if we're getting back or not. It's not fair to being more people here, especially without their say."

Viridi paused before glaring at Dark Pit. "It's your wings, isn't it." She said, her tone unimpressed.

Henry went back to work on the feather.

"Good point," Lucina nodded. "Besides, I don't think we could bring anyone here. At least not without another mage."

"Y-yeah. I'm sure I'll be fine," Dark Pit insisted. He looked away from Viridi, unable to meet her eyes.

"There's probably someone here that could do it, if we really needed them to." She responded, not sure wehther she was helping or not.

Viridi did the fancy magic thingy that heals people, and managed a smile. "Better?" She questioned.

"True," Lucina mused. "It doesn't matter anyway right now. We don't need to find the attacker. We need to identify them."

Dark Pit tentatively spread his wings, and there was no pain. He reluctantly nodded. "You don't need to heal me all the time," the angel mumbled.

Asuna glanced around, noting everyone's appearance. "Nobody here has feathers like that..." She trailed off, wondering if there was someone else here besides their group.

Viridi rolled her eyes before speaking. "And you don't need to protect me all the time, but you do anyway."

"That means it's either an animal or outside our group," Lucina said.

"Hey guys! The feather's from something with a lot of magic!" Henry ran up to the people puzzling over the attacker. "It's got so much magical energy I can't even figure out what species it's from! I know it's humanoid at least though."

"I guess you have a point," Dark Pit conceded. He lay back, exhaustion causing his limbs to go limp as he eventually fell asleep.

"It was no animal if it has magic. But...where did it go? I don't know how it just...disappeared." Asuna's voice grew dark, her attempts at keeping her face happy failing.

Viridi saw Dark Pit fall asleep from the corner of her eye. Following his lead, she let her body fall backwards. She remained with her eyes open, just in case.

"Either it teleported or it hid itself," Henry shrugged. "That's all I can think of anyway."

Asuna tensed, her hand moving over her swords' hilt again. "So it could still be here." She growled, narrowing her eyes and glancing around.

"It doesn't like light, I know that much," Henry added. "We'll be fine."

Asuna rested her hand again. "How do you know that, exactly?" She questioned.

"Well it did stay in the darkness, and the light exposes most thinfs anyway. Simple," Henry shrugged.

Asuna nodded, sitting down where she was, not bothering to move closer to the fire. "I suppose that makes sense." After a slight pause, she continued. "Is anyone going to go to sleep again, or is it a lost cause now?"

(Kay, night)

"Might as well," Lucina sighed. "I'll keep watch either way."

Henry lay back beside the fire.

"I'll stay up too. I won't be able to sleep at this point anyway." Asuna responded, moving closer to the fire and sitting down.

(Just gonna time skip)

The rest of the night went spectacularly uneventfully, and eventually the sun was rising over the horizon. Lucina smiled as a few birds began to sing. The events of the night seemed to be forgotten.

Viridi had fallen asleep at some point in the night, and now lay unmoving on the soft grass.

Asuna stifled a yawn, her eyes barely open. She stood, stretching her cramped muscles.

Ryuko sat up, blade in her hand. She glanced around at the others, most who were asleep. "Did anything show up after I fell asleep?" She questioned, eyes focused on Lucina, who seemed decently awake.

Meliodas awoke with a start, unsure of how he fell asleep in the first place. He backed away from the others, waiting in the shade of some trees.

Natsu jumped out of the fire, a grin on his face. "GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!" He yelled, his voice ringing out.

Ryuk's eyes opened at the loud sound. He glanced over at Phosphora, wondering if it has woken her.

Lucina shook her head. She was awake enough, due to the world and timeline she came from forcing her to be able to get up and lead her group to fight Risen.

Jodie woke up and sighed. She saw everyone else stirring as well. Who could sleep through a shout that loud?

Henry sat up, his smile still on his face. "Morning!" he replied cheerfully despite being up most of the night.

Phosphora stretched as she woke. She wasn't sure why anyone felt it necessary to yell so loudly.

Dark Pit rolled over with a grunt, so that instead of on his back he was on his front. He was never much of a morning person.

Viridi was somehow unfazed by the shout, and remained peacefully sleeping.

Asuna gave a slight smile, attempting to be as cheerful as Henry. "Morning, everyone!"

Ryuko grunted in response to Lucina, glad her and Asuna didn't have to fight anything alone.

Ryuk smiled as Phosphora woke. "Morning." He spoke simply, looking around at everyone again. "Where's the Dark thing?"

Dark Pit grunted again, annoyed. Why did everyone find it necessary to yell "good morning" to each other? He thought it was stupid, pointless, and also annoying.

"Good question," Phosphora noted.

Darkrai went back towards the group again, hoping they'd all be awake at this point.

Asuna frowned, realizing it was indeed a good question. "Was it the thing that took Dark Pit last night?"

Natsu froze, slowly turning to Asuna. "Someone was taken?" He questioned, wonder in his voice.

"Yea, the angel over there." Asuna responded sleepily, pointing at Dark Pit. "You slept through it."

Natsu made a pout-y face, looking down. "You have to tell me when something attacks! I love fight-hold on. You think DARKRAI attacked?"

"You seem to be forgetting the feather," Lucina noted. "But yes, we were attacked. We don't know what it was."

Darkrai approached the group carefully, straining to see if any of them were still asleep. He'd find out soon enough. He got closer.

Viridi squirmed a little, her face turning to a frown, as if something was hurting her.

Asuna nodded, suddenly remembering the feather. "That's even more worrysome, we don't know who else could be out there." She spoke softly, and began jogging a few laps around the group.

"Dark," Darkrai announced his arrival.

"Yeah," Lucina agreed. "Oh hey, it's here."

Natsu jumped toward Darkrai, a huge grin on his face as his friend returned. "Welcome back!" He spoke in a happy tone.

Viridi gave a quiet whimper, and began tossing and turning again.

"Rai," Darkrai said, looking at his friend. He moved closer to him.

Phosphora carefully shook Viridi.

Natsu began running, pulling his friend into a giant hug.

Viridi bolted upright, then sprung to her feet in one quick movement. "What the hell? Two times in one night?"
