Toad drooped a little, Man, I wanted to surprise him by being fireproof from my own element, He then swayed a little as he approached Zonos again, waving to the cloaked stranger, "Hey, I'm suppose to be the flashy brave guy here," he flopped his hand up onto his hips, "Could you not enrage the big dragon, you know the one with paws larger than you."

Varedis nodded at the mysterious newcomer and said, "Thanks, I O U 1" Then shot a great ball of fire at Zonos and said, "And that's just the warm-up,"

The figure had vanished by the time Zonos's claw had swung. His windswept cloak fluttered to the ground, he materializing underneath it as it landed. His gigantic sword thrust into the ground, gleaming in the light of Zonos's flame as it bounced off the metal. It gave an unnatural hum as the dragons magic glanced off of it. Three runes glowed as the flame settled, written in an ancient language. The stranger picked up the giant blade and rested it on his shoulder. "You, evil scalebeast, have betrayed your brethren and humankind. You are no longer a dragon, but a fiend! A fiend that shall be slain by my hand!" He called out, his voice powerful and true.

OOC2: btw, fury, I appreciate the pun.
OOC3: Also, a question. I am able to use my dragons, correct? Orrrrr are they under the power of Zonos?

Toan waved his arms in the air, "And what about me? Oh no, I just went all dragon for no reason you know. Fighting the trappers is just what I do in my spare time, totally wasn't there for you or anything," he dropped his arms as the rest of his body drooped a little too. Snapping to, pointing with his left hand at Zonos, right hand on his hip, "Take me to your leader you rapscallion! Or should I say, rapSCALEion!?"

Varedis nodded in thanks at Zera and Sozen and then tossed two orbs of blinding light at Zonos' eyes.

"Do not ignore me fiend!" The man yelled, readying for another attack. "You should recognize the magic of this sword, for it has been the bane of your kind for generations." He jumped at Zonos with incredible speed, blade of his sword aimed at his heart. "Feel the Dragon Slayer pierce your very soul!"

The fires licked him as he shifted, a painful groan sounding from the cloaks fleeting out of the way. He appeared back on the ground, clutching his now severely burned arm. He still held a tight grip of the sword, however, his fighting spirit unwavering. Small runes began to write themselves on his arm, glowing silver. "You think you can just kill me without a problem? You had one lucky hit. That will be your last."

The man struggled in Zera's grasp, his flailing scraping the burn against her scales. The pain was drowned out by his anger. "How dare you pull me away from the fight!" He barked, trying to swing his sword at his captor. "Are you siding with that fiend!?"

"I can protect myself!" He shouted, looking back at the beast following them. "Now you've made this an aerial battle." He bit his thumb and drew blood, drawing a large image on the blade of his sword, instantly turning from red lines to a shimmering yellow. He swung his sword in the direction of Zonos, sending an arc of electrical energy down at the dragon.

Toan ran after the falling dragon, stopping just short of the cliff to the water down below, "I'd give it a 7, too much splash recoil," he said leaning out to try and get a better look at the water as the waves about the splash-down subsided to become clear again.

Varedis walked over to the edge as did Jeffrey who whistled and then said, "Just in case... Atomic Chaos" and his sword fizzed with dark lightning, which created a perfect sphere. Jeffrey swung the sword and the orb dropped, exploding under the water, "Just to make sure he doesn't decide to pop bck up,"

The large wolf that had been their ally approached Zera and Sozen after the fight was done, his posture lax, but his eyes and ears alert.

Toan Shrugged, "He didn't seem to be that much of a challenge, I didn't even break a sweat," the sarcasm still present within the boy's tone, "They still don't know the power we have as a whole, only like two or three of us at this point."

He gripped the handle of his sword tightly, anger rising. "He agree that he isn't dead, I just feel it. He wasn't a challenge at all, especially versus a low level electro-shock spell." He Pulled his way out of the grip of the dragon, turning his attention to his burnt arm. '3rd degree in quite a few spots. It will take up a lot of energy if I heal it now with no tools.' He thought, brushing it gently with his hand. "Damned dragon." He muttered and sheathed his sword. He started tearing at his cloak, ripping off a generous amount to wrap his arm with. "If you all are after that dragon and his master, then we might as well exchange names." He spoke without turning, focusing too much on his wound. "I am Maximus. From the Dragon Butchers."

"Well then, I wasn't expecting things to play out like that. And to think I was actually worried." Adeline commented casually, walking up to the others with her arms behind her head with a bemused expression. She then looked over at Maximus. "Hello there, I myself am Adeline, of the Northwind bounty hunting guild."

The large wolf near them began to warp in form, his body becoming much like that of the lycanthropic figure that'd charged the dragon earlier. "And I am Xavros... a warrior and wanderer of the planes, for lack of a better term."

Toan sighed turning away form the cliff ledge, "I guess it wouldn't be too bad to let a 'Dragon Butcher' know my name, but you're only getting my first name," he stuck leg out to stretch the limb, and weaved form side to side. standing strait, he made a rapid spin on his left heel, sticking his right leg out to stop himself, his right arm was then covered in red dragon scales that had been set ablaze, "My name is Toan. My home town is of no importance."

Maximus laughed as Adeline introduced herself, lore and personal feuds playing in his head. "The Northwind? No wonder why you can't do anything." He exclaimed, his smile growing wide. In an instant, his emotions went blank, and he was back to his stoic look. "Anyways," he began, "What are we to do about the beast who got away? I have dragons I need to recapture."

He glared at Zera and Sozen, clutching his right fist. His skin cracked in pain, allowing him to concentrate on that feeling rather than the anger. "What I do is my business," He growled.

Adeline blinked at his remark, and then promptly went red, crossing her arms. "Trust your lot to be so arrogant." She retorted, completely dismissing the fact that she was hardly better. "I'll have you know I'm one of the elites in my guild! How's that for useless, lizard-butcher?"

Maximus shrugged at her so-called rank. "Whatever makes you sleep at night, miss elite." he said, a snarky tone in his voice.

"That is exactly what I'm waiting for, blacksmith." His irritation grew, "Where must we go?"

Toan shook his head, "Nope, nuh uh," he pointed out to the water, "The waves have already dispersed the scales. Unless you spread know where he is?" He gestured to Zera, "And if not, then just follow the smell of burned skin. That should last somewhat longer than scales, if he lost enough to make a trail that long," he then leaned out over the ledge slightly and breathed in the air, "Yep," he pinched his nose to signify the strength of the scent, "Still fresh as a daisy in spring."

"No no, its not just his scent I mean, burned flesh has a pretty distinct smell," Toan arched backwards, flexible enough to actually look at the group behind him to see them upside down, "I've got a good nose too, turning into a dragon is one trick, but using dragon type senses, well that's a different ball game," he snapped back to vertical to turn around, "Well I'm actually beat, for one, and for two... I haven't eaten today, so... Yeah..."

'I wish I had a fireproof ability' Maximus thought, watching the others talk. He grew more and more concerned of his burn, his singed flesh stinging under wraps. He wanted very badly to chase that dragon, to right the wrongs, but if he would be done for if he lost his arm. "Very well!" He interrupted them, "We shall go tomorrow, like it or not. The beast may even send underlings to counterattack in wait, which will give me a grand distraction." He grabbed the handle of his sword, sheathed atop his back, "I love interrogations." he said with a malicious grin.

"Well actually it's just our scales. I'm going to guess you've never been burned in a location where you lost a few scales," Toan chimed in still going on about the burns, "do you know what electricity is? Like fire it is energy, pure energy actually. It leaves behind the same markings on a tree that a fire would, it sometimes lights trees and fields on fire, so it is possible for a fire dragon to get burned," he shrugged as he explained, "I don't like to toot my own horn but, yeah, boom, I win," he stood more still now in a neutral crossed arm stance waiting to see what else was going on.

"Im glad that you're proud of yoirself, but has it occured to you that thesmwll of burnt akin could easily be Maximus,?" questioned Jeffrey

Varedis apeared behind Jeffrey, "Didnt think of that.did you?"

"Well I just explained the fact that electricity is a more concentrated form of energy than fire," Toan added, "But enough of the science lesson, we need to prepare ourselves for the strike on Storm," he then drew his sword and held it out flat, parallel to the ground toward the center of the group, "We all in or not?"
