Nightingale manages a small smile as she hears Austin speak. Fear is visible in her eyes as she worries about me, locked in a cell, deep within the basement. Still she must be strong, like the rest of the group. Nightingale does not want me to die, neither do any of my comrades in arms. When the time comes, she and my comrades, would strike. For now they must be patient and wait.

"There will be time for that, after we are finished here. Our plans must continue, even if He, is imprisoned. If He is killed, His final wish is for the lands of Equestria to be free of this place forever. We will honor that wish, whether He lives or dies. Our next step is to gather the ponies on his list, before we start our attack. Some will be more difficult than others, but He has determined that they are worthy of saving, so we must do as He says. Now if you wish to aid us, we need you to convince Rainbow to come with you. Do not let her current self fool you, He has told us that the mare, that once was, is still in there. We need her and the others to rebuild the battered land after this dark phase of Equestria's history. You will know where to go, when you have her. Just follow the light of the silver tree to its center and we will be there, waiting," Nightingale says, stroking Austin gently with a hoof.

"I'll try to Nightingale, I hope she'll listen, she's been my only friend for a long time" Austin said before getting up and starting to walk to Rainbow's office

"Oh, uh, sorry about that..." Echo stammered, realizing he upset Belle, but wasn't quite sure how or why. "Listen... whatever you may think of me, just know that there are few that are as loyal to their principles as I am." he said, moving towards the exit. "I've got to get back to 'work' again... take care."

He loves pulling pranks with his chaotic magics, preferring to save serious attitudes for serious situations. While he was formerly arrogant towards ponies, he has come to respect them. Don't forget, he's incredibly modest, in fact, he's the most modest being in all of Equestria! Okay, fine, Discord, I'll be sure to write that down. He also shares Pinkie Pie's love of gazing through the fourth wall.
History: Former villain, and ally to the Princess of Friendship through many trials. He is concerned, however, with the diminishing state of the world, as one of the original Elements of Harmony contained within the Tree continues to crack and decay. He has spent much of his recent time with Fluttershy, whom he has developed a more serious relationship with.
