Discord turned around and began to mutter to himself, scratching his beard. "Well, hmm... I suppose I don't have much to fear from the Elements now, so it'd be okay to say..."

He turned back to Austin, a smile lighting up on his face. "Well, anything is possible (trust me, I'd know), but if you had a strong quality, what would you say it is?"

ground started shaking when princess Luna,Gary Sparkle still inside in Royal room."I give you new element of harmony sword"Princess Luna."what going on??"Princess Luna said.

Outside the city a monstrous army gathers behind the giant steel pony from before. Large numbers of siege weapons can be seen behind the armies. High in the air flies their banner, a black flag with a flying red raven upon the sky.

"you better check outside city and what going on?"Princess luna said to Austin

OOC: Gary is Twilight's brother, who is now a princess, making him somewhat of a prince, so yeah...

Gulaven turned to leave the room from the shaking, "X, stay here and keep the injured protected," he then halted, "Negate that command, all factory guards, take up positions around the infirmary, X and I will confront the metal one," he then turned to Discord, "You, draconicous, if you're here to help, use your magic to slow those monsters down, repair the castle walls, make it rain, make the roads slippery, something that will give us the advantage," he then headed back upstairs to the main hall.

Before Alexander followed the doctor, he glanced at Discord. His lens became half clear to reveal and eye behind the glass, it was glowing bright blue, made the loading pattern, and the lens turned black again. He vaulted up the stairs after his leader. Reaching the top, Cauldron had passed by on his way down to the infirmary, "Soldier," X paused, "Cauldron, make amends with Torch, you two work best together. Going to need all the teamwork we can manage."

Cauldron said nothing in reply, but did look the armored soldier in the face, what was visible beyond the black glass and face shield. He continued down past them to the infirmary where other guards were arriving.

Gulaven came up walking slowly to the door, "Aerial units, keep the skies clear, do not let them get above us," he then raised his mechanical limb to aim at the roof, though it did nothing, he only spoke a light louder and slower, "Control, arm the security turrets, clears some clouds and bring the factory closer to the capital city. We're going to rain hell down on these bandits. Whatever it is they are after, they will be stopped at all costs."

A second went by in silence, let alone the army outside, "Roger that sir, weather pegasi are being sent out now."

Gulaven dropped his leg, "It's going to be a few hours before the factory can be within range of the castle, and I need you to buy us as much times as you can. Keep that metal behemoth outside."

The Black Knight nodded in response. Alex then lifted off with a powerful stride of his wings, "Targest range from earth ponies to unicorns. Pegasi will be engaged by aerial units, while factory and royal archers make strife runs via chariots," the AI voice informed the armored soldier, "The metallic unit, code name, Iron Core, stands closer to the front of the mass. Long range units unknown, projectile scanners will remain active up to 35 meter radius, armor hull integrity at 100%, helmet integrity at 87%, overall limb integrity at 93%, overall effectiveness at 95%."

Alexander landed outside on the roof of the castle, overlooking the army that gathered before him, "Enemy numbers reaching over 5,000, pilot skill assessed, probability of victory nearing 10%. Evasive manuvers highly recommended."

Discord smiled, as he started to twirl one of his clawed talons. "Of course, I'd be happy to help them clean up their act." he said, as the ground the invading forces were marching on turned into a solid mass of wet, slippery soap. "Oh, I just love making puns~♪ Ooh, what should I do next? Turn their weapons into eating utensils? Turn those thunderclouds into chocolate rain clouds? Oh, I can't take my mind off food, probably because I am absolutely famished! Oh, what do you think, darling?" he said, turning to Princess Celestia.

I looked outside "This is bad" I said before looking at Discord "Turn their weapons into marshmallows, that way they can't hurt anypony"

Little do the group realize that the enemy army has its own powerful magicians. Also this time the steel pony is not alone. Surrounding him is a large group of a dozen or so, mechanical ponies, each armed with a unique set of weaponry. Still the spells that they have cast upon the group effect the group. As the factory soldiers investigate more they find heavily armed griffins upon cliffs ready to join the fight. They are flanked by great big tall muscular forms, minotaurs, which are known for their strength. The truth is if they looked carefully at the army, it is a mix of races. Whoever this steel pony is, he has united many races under one banner. The steel pony waves his massive hooves, and three mechanical pegasus take to the air. On the ground remain a mix of nine mechanical unicorns and earth ponies. Hellfire rains down upon the city as the trebruchet unleash hell upon the defenders. Screams echo throughout the city as the flaming boulders show no mercy to anything or anyone. As the barrage continues, the army advances. The march is a struggle but the soldiers are determined and do not falter. The unicorns on the other side, have begun their own counter spells upon Discord.

Discord yawned as he stretched his arms out, completely shrugging off the counter magic (easy, given his godlike powers), as he snapped his fingers. The weapons carried by the army started to feel light, as they transformed into inflatable swords, trebuchets, and the like, and the fireballs turned into mere beach balls. "I hope they're a fan of fun in the sun~♪!" he called out, as a flash of light appeared around him, making the work vest and construction helmet vanish, in their place a pool float around his waist, flippers on his hoof and foot, and a snorkel and goggles on his face. "I hope you all dress appropriately, hehehe~..."

With another snap, the armor on the oncoming army vanished in the blink of an eye, replaced by little more than swim trunks and flippers.

I giggled "This is fun Discord! Make them into fruit next!" I suggested through my laughter

Princess Celestia and Luna laugh too.

Alexander was nit amused by the display Discord carried out, Took him long enough to be useful. Too many have died to have pranks pulled just for laughs. This being holds too much power, the Factory should have him contained. The Elemental Helmet from Gary may be useful in sealing this joker away while we finish this... But, that is not up to me to decide, he watched as some of the ponies had their gear returned to normal by the unicorns, "Strike the unicorns down first, that will take out the majority of their force, leaving them open for our own magic. Keep your distance from the mechanoids, I and the doctor will handle them. While Discord distracts them with the little pranks, get a strike in whenever you see a safe opening," he was initiating his own commands to the aerial units.

The mechanical pegasus in the air engage the aerial units. Their weaponry is soon revealed as barrages of penetrating rounds roar toward their targets and explosions erupt all over the sky. The mechanical pegasi are armed with rockets, heavy machine guns, as well as a variety of nasty close range weaponry.

"Nice to meet you,Alexander"Gary Sparkle said.

"Hm?" Alex turns to find Gary next to him, "Gary Sparkle, brother to Princess Twilight Sparkle, owner of the Harmony Element Helmet. A greetings would be recommended, but the timing does not call for it," he turned his head back to the mass before him, "Aerial units, proceed to evac points, avoid combat as often as possible. The safety of the innocent is priority one. Factory ETA at 3 hours, 28 minutes, 46 seconds. Heavy armored division, take to the great hall, if those metallic soldiers get by me, give them one for," the comm went silent, but quick replies indicated their compliance.

Alexander turned back to Gary as he stepped away from the roof ledge, "Sir, I recommend finding the Princesses, they have decades of combat training, and magic beyond our weaponry. Do keep out of harms way. Now, if you'll excuse me," he dashed forward into the air, only to drop to the ground. Using his wings to slow the descent, he took up the fighting stance. Rear legs extended below him, sword locked into the right hoof link, and tower shield on his left wing link. When his hooves touched the ground, he bolted forth in a daring sprint toward the horde of enemy ponies.

Just out of reach of the first opponent, the hind leg plates shifted downward, then rapidly back up. The force used to lift the single soldier into the air left deep circular holes in place of take off. Lunging toward the heavy leader, his shield braced tightly to his side; just before he entered the danger zone of this metal beast, he launched his wing holding the shield outward to the side to drag Alex to the left. A feather clipped to the back of the blade initiated a blade launch targeting the thinner material in the massive ponies ear. If landing a successful piercing, it would cause him to swing around sharply to the rear side of the metallic pony.

"I still scared of heighs"Starlight said to Rainbow Dash.

The gigantic steel pony marches forward with his army and his personal escort, mechanical unicorns and earth ponies. Among him and his escort are the unicorns that are fighting Discord's magic. No one is getting to them without fighting the terror of terrors, the leader. The unicorns are too busy to assist their leader, but a mechanical earth pony notices. Leaping onto his leader's back and drawing his sheathed katanna, he deflects Alex's strike. Grinning, the earth pony returns to the ground as a mechanical pegasus, dive bombs, the unprepared pegasus.

Meanwhile inside the palace, Lightfoot looks out the window and fear is visible on his face. There is just too many of the enemy. They cannot win. Despite this fear of his however, he knows that my big sisters and I have great magic and could at least help keep the enemy back for their retreat.

Gary Sparkle gallop to Lightfoot.

"Discord, do something!" I said

Alexander, still mid fall, started the retracting of his blade, "Non-projectile unit inbound," the visor pointed out the one who had kept Alex's sword from striking a lock point. The blade was still too far away to make a strike at the oncoming pony, instead he brought the tower shield around toward the pony to block any attacks from reaching him before he could reach the ground.

Rainbow Dash looked down to Starlight, "You don't have to fight from a high position," she flew down to hover just above the floor to talk, "The Rainbow Factory guards can have you air lifted, I know it doesn't sound too great, but you could always be in the middle of the transport cart if it helps."

Gulaven flew up to the roof the same way Alexander had exited, "Torch, I'm going to need you to return to the factory as soon as it gets here. You've become quite efficient with the security devices, I'll need your professional skills to assist in this fight," he looked down to the city itself as it was overrun and burning, "Celestia," he turned to face the great hall, "Celestia! Your kingdom needs you to fight!" He called out into the castle.

The mechanical pony that tackles Alexander looks very familiar as do the other mechanical ponies. Built like Alex, they have the signature marks of trade that label them as factory made. Despite this however each have strange collars around their necks that seem to be controlling them. The mechanical pegasus that knocks into Alex pauses for a minute.

"Alex, is that you, it asks in a familiar voice. It's been a...The collar around the pegasus's neck unleashes a vicious charge of something, making the pegasus scream in agony. Then it once again assaults Alex.

The leader of the army, the colossal steel pony, waves his hoof and the army moves forward. Their progress is aided by the unicorns beside the leader and his escort. His personal escort has yet to be deployed, as well as some other things. The steel pony may seem just a mindless brute, but he is in fact far smarter than they think

Lightfoot looks out the window, with a spyglass at the new mechanical ponies. He gasps as he sees the mark upon their armor. They are factory made, but how did they get into the enemy's hooves? Seeing the spyglass down, he returns to laying in bed. As Gary enters he smiles but says nothing. He is unfit to fight and so he can do nothing to aid them, save provide them with the information he has discovered. Getting one of the factory guards attention, he tells him the information and asks him to relay it back to Gulaven.

Alexander's ear twitched at the voice, but said nothing in reply as it was cut of by the shock, "Electrical Discharge detected," the AI voice spoke to Alex as he spun with the attack, flinging his blade limb back toward the ground, sending the blade itself slashing across the ponies below. Continuing to spiral down, he was clearing a landing zone for himself among the enemy army below. Landing slightly harder than predicted, the doing mechanisms spewed a gas to relive the pressure, bracing the impact.

The sword now latched back into the link, ready for battle, and Alexander shifting the shield to the side to see his opponent, "You know who I am?" He questioned the pony as his armor wheezed a whistle of readiness, "If you are forced to hold your tongue, fight it, tell me who you are. I will not let you die until you explain yourself," his visor turned clear again to show his eyes.

Gulaven, recently standing atop the roof, came down inside to find Lightfoot, "I was not informed there were others," he said approaching the window, "The Black Knight project was suppose to be a single subject experiment with the exo-armor," he exclaimed, "Someone amongst the factory is either an idiot or a traitor," he stamped his hoof roughly on the floor, "How many are out there? X was trained for regular soldier combat, not against another mech-soldier."

Lightfoot cringes in pain before replying. His amber eyes glisten in the light. He hands Gulaven a copy of the drawings of other mechanical ponies like Alex.

"Twelve more. For a total of 13 mechanical ponies. I believe the others are Alex's comrades that he thought were killed in a mission. As for the Black Knight Project, I know little about it. I do know however due to an anonymous source that some pony or even a group of ponies saved some other ponies lives through an unknown project. They have however now stopped production. My intelligence tells me that they are planning on destroying any evidence of the the said project, to prevent it from being misused. Other than that I know nothing. I'm sorry if I couldn't be any more help," Lightfoot says.

The mechanical pegasus lands beside Alex, the doing mechanisms spewing a gas to relive the pressure, bracing the impact. Its helmet vanishes within its armor and a sand dune colored pony with golden mane, stands before Alex. It's emerald eyes glisten in the light of the sun.

"Hello, Alex," the sand dune colored pegasus stallion says.

"Gary Sparkle needs to wear his helmet"Princess Luna asked Gulaven.

Gulaven nodded, taking the sheet, "This is quite the information you have," he glanced up to Lightfoot, "Who are these "sources" you have? I need to know where they collected this Intel. The Black Knight Project was a rather secret one, conducted in the Black Labs themselves. Nopony besides myself is allowed to leave or enter that floor," he added before replying to Princess Luna, "The elemental helmet is being reconstructed with highest priority, your highness. If I may interject another idea, maybe you and your sister could take a step down from your throwns to save your kingdom."

"Speak your name soldier," Alexander demanded with his shield scraping the ground but still stood up taller than the holder, "I will rip that armor from you body, tie you down, and drop you in the lake at the bottom of the mountain side."

Lightfoot tries to stand but cringes in pain. Frustrated he lays back down. With a sigh, he points to the dresser beside his bed.

"Shade is the one you want to talk to. He can tell you more than I can, I'm afraid. You'll find him beneath the palace with his entire crew, in their secret command center. The password to enter is Lightfall. When you enter, just ask for Shade and they will lead you right to him."

The sand dune colored pegasus stallion with golden mane bows low before speaking.

"I suppose it has been a long time Captain Alexander, so you wouldn't remember me or the others. Hmm, perhaps we can catch up later. My name is Jaxe Sunwing, at your service, Captain," he says.

"Spike went missing"Princess Celestia said.

"Discord do something!" I said, I was getting scared

"At my service? I'm no longer a captain either," Alex stood up a little straighter, "I am a Knight, titled the "Black Knight," he brought his sword up to point it at Jaxe, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a castle to protect," he took a step back to aim the blade back up toward the, now backside, of the metal giant's ear. His sight never came off of the one who had stopped his first hook.

Gulaven, unsure what to reply with, just nodded and walked off toward the dresser, "You know, as crazy as this sounds, but," he looked back to Lightfoot, "Me and secret organizations do not get along too well," the common storage port opened on his mechanical limb allowing him to store the page inside, "Where do I find this entrance?"

Jaxe says nothing, before his helmet covers his face again. Then a painful surge flows through him and he takes off into the air. Slamming into Alex, a voice unlike his friend/comrade emerges from within the mechanical pegasus, as he engages Alex again.

"All threats are to be eliminated. All who threaten our lord, must perish," it says and a blade glistens in the light as Jaxe attacks Alex.

Lightfoot shrugs, but smiles. Wincing he looks out the window at the scene before him. The army continues to march unhindered toward Canterlot.

"You will have the entrance behind the thrones of Princess Celestia, Luna and Astrello. From there follow the light that emulates from the three thrones, until you come to a silver tree. You will have arrived at the command center. From there you will know what to do. Now if I were you, I would be focused on getting the other twelve mech-soldiers away from the enemy and free of their collars. Right now it is useless to attack at all. The mech-soldiers are hindering any advancements. Once we have the mech-soldiers then we can go forward but not before," Lightfoot says.

Meanwhile within the palace, I am sketching a layout of the current situation and incoming battle. Making sure to create the correct dimensions and distances of everything, I try to come up with a plan. I also have schematics of our home as well.

"I have to do something!" I said as I flew out of a window and flew as fast as I could to the metal pony from before "This is personal now!" I yelled as I was charging to him in midair

Discord yawned as he watched the oncoming army, summoning a pair of binoculars to look more closely. "Hmm, it seems I may actually have to put in some effort." he said, before snapping his fingers again. Black clouds began to fill the sky, shortly before unleashing a strong downpour of rubber cement.

Alexander had the shield placed between himself and his opponent, and he used the force of the strike to swing out away from the pony as his blade had finally reached and pierced its mark. Retracting the line enough fro him to swing all the way out in front of the army. The cable detached from the blade now that it was on the backside of its strike point. The momentum carried him back to the castle, outside of the cemented rain's downpour. He quickly located a supply pony to replace the sword he had just left behind.

The Black Knight stood, once again, atop the castle looking down on the army before him, "24 targets eliminated during combat. Exo-machine armored units detected, user abilities and assessed skills indicate a 63% rate of victory in one on one combat with each individual mechanized unit. Voice recognition data reads opponent voice to be MIA factory guard, Jaxe Sunwing. Previous records inaccessible, history limited. Jaxe Sunwing was once part of Factory Recon team Foxtrot. Member went MIA after cave collapse in unknown location, along with one other member, Gift Wing."

I though Gift Wing was a scientist in the main labs. He certainly was not combat material. He was crushed by the containment door during the factory break out, five years ago. They must have pulled his remains out from the other side and tampered with his body. No doubt he wears more than just a suit if he truly lived long enough to know Jaxe, thought as he waited atop the roof for who knows what next to happen.

Gulaven nodded leaving through the door, "I'll leave some of my own guards here for you, I will return once I've gotten what I need from your source."

The fallen are replaced by even more soldiers. The sea of the enemy army just seems endless. As Discord continues to try to hinder the army, so do the unicorns in the army, are casting their own beneficial ones. Even with the battle of magic, the army moves forward, with no signs of stopping. The colossal steel pony towers over the army, with his vanguard of mech-soldier, unicorns and earth ponies.

As Alexander escapes and Austin attacks, the mech-soldier pegasus, Jaxe, engages him. Seeing no need for his blade, he sheathes it, before smashing sideways into the changeling. His steel hoofs smash into Austin's chest, jaw and much more as he engages in hoof to hoof fighting.

Inside the palace, I start thinking of strategies as I lay out the magical and living replica of the battlefield before me. The sea of the enemy continues of move forward. The main and most dangerous of all the enemy however, is their leader, the colossal steel pony.

However at that moment, the leader of the enemy decides to call a parley, between the two groups. A group of soldiers, escorted by a mech-soldier earth pony, make their way toward the gates, holding a white flag, with the banner flying in the wind.

"You come once destroying the city, this castle, and killing grave loads and expect to talk to us?!" Alexander vaulted from from the roof to land just in front of the small group, "You have three seconds to tell me why I shouldn't rip you apart right here?"

Before Dr. Gulaven would head for the passage, he stepped out to stand next to The Black Knight, "Such a feeble attempt to actually talk this out," he paused at his own words, This is a break from the fighting again. This must be extended for as long as possible. The factory should be within range in under 3 and a half hours now, "What is it you want? Tell me everything, don't make me ask thirty questions."

Rainbow Dash had flown up to Discord, "Honestly, though its not really my thing, you need to recognize when you are needed. I don't know what the princesses are doing or why they aren't fighting back themselves, but at the moment you're all we've got as an advantage," she explained

"Not anymore," a light, yet adult voice replied, "I'm not one for fighting myself, but my magic is at your service," Princess Cadence walked up just below Dash.

"Princess Cadence," Dash quickly dropped down to bow to the princess, "In good time to, it appears that they have halted once again," Rainbow Dash pointed out toward the army before them.

"Is," she stepped forth to fly a little over the ledge, "A changeling," she then witnessed the brutal attach. She gasped pulling back to the roof, "Why is it here, where did it come from?" She, still in a bit of shock, "I II..."

Dash zoomed over, "C'mon Princess, get a hold of yourself. That changeling came here trying to fit in, he wants nothing to do with his queen's past. He was brave when they attacked the first time, and now he is out there trying to make a difference for us. Please princess, do something to protect him."

The panic faded slowly from Cadence's eyes, "Hmm, you're right," she stood up straight, aimed her horn out and sent a shielding spell around just Austin. Covering a kingdom made this job seem like laying on the couch.

The hit knocked to the ground so hard, the pavement around me cracked into pieces, I tried to get up, but Jaxe broke a lot of bones with his hit "Just kill me... Do everyone a favor..." I said, it didn't come out well because he broke my jaw, then I spat blood in Jaxe's face

Starlight's Spear driven back to Jaxe and her weapon clash."Come on!"Starlight shout.

The soldiers laugh as their colossal leader walks forward surrounded by the twelve mech-soldiers. Jaxe motions toward one of the medic ponies and they nod, gathering up Austin and returning him the palace. As for the spear attack on him by Starlight, he easily dodges it. Joining the other mech-soldiers beside the colossal steel pony, they watch the others speaking to him. Every mech-soldier is heavily armed and ready to fight. The colossal steel pony towers over the group, his shadow swallowing up their forms in darkness.

"I am here to honor a brave stallion's request. To honor, Captain Lightfoot, we will not attack Canterlot or the palace. He waves his hoof and one of the soldiers rushes off to inform the generals. As he does the group watches in awe as the massive sea of soldiers withdraws, except for the unicorns, which join their leader by his side. I am an honorable pony, even though I have no body, safe this cruel steel form that is mine. In a weeks time there will be a contest of arms and skill that will last five days. Each day three challengers from both sides will be chosen. Each challenger will battle one of the opposite sides challengers, until one remain. On the final day the two remaining contestants will fight for their side, for their prize. Now as in agreement of this friendly contest of skill, whether we win or lose, we will withdraw from your lands and return to ours. The prize for us is not Equestria, no, you can keep your land. Astrello, the prince, the gem of Equestria and beyond is the price. Now what is your price?" The twelve mech-ponies look up at the others, their visors glinting in the light.

((Must I repeat myself? It doesn't even make sense for simple unicorn magic to counter the power of someone who not even Celestia could stop without ancient objects of power, and I feel like you are completely disregarding my posts, and even going out of your way to make them useless.

Alexander reached for his blade, but was stopped by Gulaven, "Why would you expect us to comply to this challenge when you just blasted your way into this castle, ransacking the city, and killing hundreds of loyal incident soldiers. I'll have you know, negotiations are not my strong suit, probably because the situations that bring them about," he paused to glance at the ponies who stayed behind with their leader, "Considering the offer will take time, which you do not have," he straightened himself as he walked up to the steel pony without even a single hint of fear, stared the large metal pony in the eyes, "If a decision is not reached within the next 3 and a half hours, consider it declined. But do not be too shocked if the response is not what you wish. It were up to me entirely, this chat would not be happening," he turned away sharply, "However," he stopped right next to Alexander who was absolutely motionless, "Whether or not we accept, I will have you pay for the collateral damage you now owe to the Rainbow Factory. Bits are not acceptable," he spun back around to face the halted enemy.
