Starflash thought she had a plan, but she wasn't sure if it was good. There was no harm in saying it though.
"Well, if that thing is attracted to heat, then isn't there someone with the ice element that can spy on it? Maybe that that way, we can find weaknesses." she suggested, wondering if there was an ice dragon somewhere out there willing to volunteer for something that dangerous.

Weapons: Specially made claw and wingcovers that make his claws sharper and add claws on his wings.
Elements: Poison, Fire
Personality: Sharpwing has an animalistic personality, reacting on impulse and not making plans for the future. He tends to fight first and ask questions later.
Appearance: Sharpwing is a dark red, almost brown, wyvern with a yellow belly that makes him look like a cobra if a small animal approached him from the front. A yellow frill runs down his back, and his tail sticks out for balance. There are three sharp spikes on his tail, but only the middle one has a poison stinger. His eyes are big and yellow.
History: Still coming up with one.

"You know spells Chimera?" Starflash asked, wondering if it was a spell that Chimera herself was deciding to perform. She wished she would have given more detail, but instead, Starflash had another idea.
"Wait, if you perform spells then... can you create one that won't allow me to transmit heat? I... I am willing to volunteer. I will spy on that thing, as long as he can't locate me." she finally said, growing a desire to help. Everyone seemed to be helping her, and she felt the need to return the favor somehow.

Chimera looked at Starflash, "Most of the spells I use contain dark magic, making them dangerous to the unprepared. The spell I was thinking of would have to be used on a dragon though, I have no idea of the effect it could have on a phoenix. Anyway, with this spell, I can actually change the type of dragon you are. For example, I once used this spell on a dear friend of mine; he is an ice dragon, but with this spell, I turned him into a dark dragon for a short time. We had used it as a disguise then. So, any volunteers?"

It took a while for Starflash to analyze everything. Was there really such a thing as an ice phoenix? Was that really that risky? Starflash didn't cared. It became to her a necessity to help.
"I am ready." Starflash confessed, though she was still nervous. However, she tried not to care. With her home invaded, there was nothing else she could do, so she has decided to go along with the experiment.

Starflash knew Blarna in a shorter while than Chimera, but she was a phoenix like her, so maybe that was the better idea.
"You do spells too? Well then, you do it. Maybe phoenix magic on a phoenix will have, less side effects." Starflash concluded, believing that was obvious.

Blarna and Chimera looked at each other, understanding, and the dark dragoness spoke up, "Well, while Blarna deals with the creature, you can accompany the rest of us while we search for the reason behind everything. Besides, i'd like it if you were with me, after all, you remind me of my sister, and to be honest, I don't entirely want you to get hurt." Chimera finished talking.

Chimera then turned to Blarna, "Are you ready?" Blarna only nodded, and Chimera said, "Alright then, let's begin." Chimera flapped her wings once as the feathers reappeared, and she then spoke an incantation. When she finished, a black mist flowed from her wings and surrounded the fire phoenix. When the mist vanished, Blarna no longer had red-orange feathers, but instead ice-blue feathers. Her beak and legs were not gold-yellow anymore, but instead a white-gray color. The only thing about Blarna's look that hadn't changed was her blazing blue eyes.

"So, how do I look?" The new ice phoenix asked.

She then turned to Shadow, "stay close, and don't fall too far behind." And with that Shadow and Kumara flew off to the volcano.

Polara looked from Shadow and Kumara, and to her brother, "What is it?" She said frowning.

"Maybe, we'll have better luck looking deeper in the caves, who knows, we might even find something out." Gale replied sheepishly.

(Yeah, cause if i'm right, Chimera and the phoenixes are still at the ruins of the city, while Gale and Polara and their friends are at a cave in the volcano.)

Continuing on the small amount of small talk they could get before heading off, Blarna asked, "So, Chimera, how'd you end up here? In this dimension, that is."

Chimera looked uneasy while she thought about whether or not to reveal her secret item.

ooc: they are all in the ruins of the city theuone.

Soon Shade was at the base of the the volcano and he was cautious he slowly made his way to a cave on the side of the volcano. He saw a orange light within the cave and went to investigate it. When he went deeper in the cave he found a very deep casum that had a redish or orange light coming from it. He droped a rock down it and he counted the seconds untill he heard it hit the ground. "Nearly 5 minutes!" He was shocked. "I need to tell the others!" He thought to himself. He then quickly went outside and made a huge blast of light to let anyone who was nearby he found something.

"Well," Gale said nervously to Shadow, "th ... those creatures come from inside the volcano, right? Well, maybe there is something inside the volcano causing all of this."

A blast of light nearby Gale and sister soon helped Gale's point. "Someone's out there." Polara blinked, and Gale sighed.

Meanwhile, Chimera looked nervous, unwanting to reveal her secret ability, "Well, let's get going, we don't have forever." She undid the magic creating her feathers and started to take off.

Starflash could see how devastating the destruction must have been for a city to be in ruins like that. But she then concentrated more on not being left behind. She was still quiet, and if nobody was going to give her a task, then she was going to find some way where she could help and not get in the way of the grown-ups.

"No I haven't found Silver I've found a very deep hole that seemed to go deep into the earth. We need everyone to be here so we can explore it and find out what that glow is." Shade said.

During the flight, Blarna found herself to be upset that her questions to Chimera were unanswered, and she blinked once, wondering why she was upset about that.

Chimera soon saw a flash of light in the distance, "I think that's Shade." Chimera called to her companions.

Starflash saw the light from the sky, and remembered that her uncle could do something similar to act as a beacon when members of the family scattered for some reason. This made her feel more homesick than before, but she was determined not to show it.
