Isis threw some ice in the air and shot them with a light attack, causing a rainbow "That's one reason why I don't fight, nobody takes a rainbow as a serious attack" She said

Kihei watched the Magic class "I hope she likes me" He said

"Use that to your advantage. If people see a rainbow, they won't be expecting a attack, and then bam, you've got 'em."

"Well, I'm much of a fighter anyway, I know too much about the balance of nature to disrupt anything" Isis said

"You still need to be able to defend yourself. My mom taught me that." Fryden started to tear up, but stopped.

(Well, this was a quality topic derailment, but time to end it.)

Chimera, in all her boredom, decided to fire a small blast of shadow energy at Kra-ra, and waited to see what happened.

Isis hugged Fryden "I know, but please calm down, your mom would want you to keep going, you can't break down every time you think about her" She said as she rubbed Fryden's back

"Please don't do that."

Through all of his absent-minded dodges and deflection, the shadow ball sailed right past Kra-Ra's defences and made direct contact with his shoulder. Stumbling a bit, his head whipped in Chimera's direction, his stare empty and almost soul-less. "How dare you attack Sherrah," he growled, the amber in his eyes turning a deep orange. The rocks protecting him began to spin and change shape, becoming thin, sharp spikes. Then, like they had their own intelligence, turned and pointed at Chimera. Three of them were launched her way, each coated in an unstable torrent of wind.

"That's not good!" Kihei said as he created an ice wall between Kra-Ra's attack and Chimera "That should work"

"Don't do what? I said I would help you, that's what I'm doing" Isis said

"Well now, didn't see that coming." Chimera said in surprise as she dodged the spikes. She then fired blasts, of shadow energy at the spikes, destroying them.

"The talking I'm fine with, not quite the hugs."

(Ninja'd by a minute.)

Chimera turned to Kihei, "Thanks for the help."

Kra-Ra snarled and was about to lunge and attack again with mounds of earth forming at his feet, but the sudden wall of ice startled him. As he looked into the reflection of himself in the ice, the glow in his eyes changed back to amber and eventually faded, his blue eyes becoming visible again. He looked as if he was off balance and plopped down on his rear-end. "What happened" he groaned, scratching his head

((Kihei is outside the classroom))

Kihei ducked uder the window to hide from the class

"Oh, sorry" Isis said as she let go of Fryden

"That's better."

(Oh, ok)

Chimera looked at Kra-ra, "You certainly are unique."

With the room and his head still spinning, he could barely hear Chimera's voice. Even when what she said registered, he still didn't understand her implications. "I am just a dragon, same as you." He said to her, voice shaking slightly with his shyness.

Kihei peeked back into the classroom

"Are you ok now?" Isis asked

"Yeah. If you wouldn't mind, could you shoot more ice shards into the air? Target practice is so much better when you don't know where the targets were shot before-hand." Fryden put his dirt blindfold back on.

"Sure" Isis said as she stood next to Fryden and shot ice shards in the air

Fryden scraped his wings against each other, sending rocks and sparks out into the sky. Each spark or rock hit an ice shard, creating an explosion of mini ice fragments. The momentum and angle of each shot caused the fragments to form a symbol of fire as they fell.

Cavern smiled in the background; it seemed Fryden wasn't all bad.

Fryden, still blindfolded, whipped his head towards Cavern. "Why are you smiling, weakling?"

"Great job Fryden" Isis cheered as she nuzzled Fryden with her head

Cavern looked unworried, "Because it seems like you can be nice when you choose to."

Fryden sent a stone spike covered in fire in the direction of Cavern.

((Connor?))

"Fryden, its true" Isis said

Cavern instinctively intercepted the spike with a super-sized earth bullet.

"Fryden stop! He was just being nice to you" Isis said as she jumped onto Fryden's back to stop him from continuing

"But he said that I could be nice."

"Its a compliment silly, I'm guessing you never got them from your dad" Isis said, whispering the last part

A fire appeared in each of Fryden's eyes. He threw a stone spike out in all directions outside of the arena. He jumped into the air, flipped, and shot fire in all directions. "Fly up and check out the campus." All of the flaming spikes had formed the outline of a flaming fist over the campus.

Shadow watched the whole ordeal with Kra-Ra. It mildly shocked him and he ended up subconsciously standing I front of Kumara in defence.
"What in the name of Solas is going on?" He said glancing between Chimera and Kra-Ra, "and where on Niffiria did that ice come from?"
Kumara looked at Kra-Ra with interest, "what was that?" She asked.

Kra-Ra gave Kumara a confused look, front-claw still gingerly rubbing his fore-head "What do you mean? What was what?" he asked in a daze.

"You went all 'I'm gonna kill you' on Chimera!" She explained, "you mean you don't remember any of it?"
Shadow then chipped in, "who's this Sherrah you spoke of?"

"Oh..." His mind still lagging. Then, as if a lightbulb went off in his head, his expression twisted to shock and horror, "Oh! I'm sorry!" He sprung back up on all fours and backed up against the wall. "I'm sorry," he repeated, almost like a chant, saying it several times before hiding behind his wings. "I didn't mean it...."

"Fryden stop!" Isis yelled as she flew up to him "You need to calm down! This is not what she would want! This won't bring her back or bring your dad to justice! You're only hurting your chances at a good life!"

Kihei watched the scene unfold "I hope this situation cools off" He said to himself

OOC: Can I have a recap please? I tried to read it all but I'm so tired...

Kumara slowly approached him, "calm down! No one is hurt and your back in 'sane land'," she said quietly. Shadow remained quiet as he had no idea on how to handle these situations.
"If you don't want to talk about it, than I respect your decision, however, the whole class is now confused as to what happened," Kumara continued.

Kihei smiled "How sweet of her, that's why I love that girl" He thought

bobk...we gotta find out what the heck just happened....

"I really didn't mean it," Kra-Ra spoke quietly and with hesitation. Just remembering her name sent a chill down his spine, making him shiver. "It's because of my country... Because of my clan... I---Terrible things happened-" He stood abruptly and wiped his face, "Excuse me," Kra-Ra said with a quivering voice, "I need air. Instructor Diamond, I apologize for the commotion I caused and will make it up to the school later." And with that he rushed out of the room, looking down the entire time. He headed for the outdoor commons to clear his head, and maybe hide forever.

OOC: whyd you guys say Connor?

((Fryno made a mistake and typed the name of his character from the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 RP instead of Fryden))

Kihei watched "Poor guy, I should find a way to cheer him up" He said as he followed Kra-Ra

Kra-Ra was quick to navigate through the school, being on the Commons Grounds in mere minutes. He took a full lung of air and sighed loudly, padding to a cluster of trees on the yard. "Why now?" he huffed as he laid down against the tree. He dug into the bark with his claws, his sadness slowly changing to anger. "Why now! They told me I'd be fine!" He slammed his frontpaw down in anger, sending small ripples throughout the dirt.

OOC2: By the way, this is probably where Kra-Ra becomes more callused in personality.

Kihei laned next to Kra-Ra "Are you ok?" He asked

Kihei's appearance startled Kra-Ra slightly, and he quickly turned his face away to hide his welling tears. "I went berserk in class and I don't even remember it." He snapped, "Second week here and I'm already the school basket-case." His wings flapped in irritation at the thought of being insane. "I don't know what to do."

Kihei hugged Kra-Ra "I saw, and I don't think you're crazy, I think you're troubled by something" He said

Kra-Ra tensed up when he was hugged, not knowing how to feel about it. He had never been hugged before. "It's in the past, the reason why I'm here." There was a long pause and Kra-Ra began to shake slightly. "Children shouldn't have to kill their own family members. Lifestyles shouldn't revolve around warring..."

Chimera sat silently through the entire thing, intrigued by Kra-ra, and she felt she could relate to what the big dragon had just said; life shouldn't be about fighting for your life all the time.

"Its ok, you don't have to worry about that anymore" Kihei said as he rubbed Kra-Ra's back in a comforting way
