Ki smiled "Lets find some supplies... Brother" He said happily

"Oh... Well, you've known him for awhile, can you help me tell him how I feel?" Virtu asked

[Anyway, I gotta go to a New Year's party, be back in a bit!]

"No," I told Virtu bluntly. Luckily, Dark Pit returned with my silver-and-red bow, and I took it back. "Thanks, Dark Pit!"
He shrugged, but I noticed he seemed extremely awkward around the both of us. From experience, I knew I had to be consciously aware of respecting Dark Pit's personal space. So I lugged my pair of weapons over my shoulder. "All right. You gonna take off, Dark Pit?"
"You know the plan," he responded. "See you two around, I guess." The dark angel vanished into the foliage as I turned to Virtru. "Please, Virtu. Don't make things harder for Dark Pit-"
-and me- I added in my head.
"-then they already are."

"Oh... Ok Shadmé" Virtu said "So, how are you holding up?"

((Can I switch to using I for Skyward? Or would that be too confusing?))

Skyward nodded. "Won't bother you anymore." She started to take off, but then looked back at Foxtail. "Sorry for breaking my promise, but do you have a compass or anything?"

[Yes, you can StormDragon]

A compass? Foxtail shook his head. "Sorry, I don't have anything like that" he said to Skyward. But eager to offer something, he told her of another technique. "You see the sun? Just remember that it rises in the east and sets in the west." He would've thought a dragon like her would have at least basic navigational skill, but hey, he wasn't about to judge. "So north is... that way!" He pointed the way.

Jenny hugged Austin back. She could tell he was the lonely type, and tasked herself with being with him most of their time here.

Ki smiled "Also, if you ever need to figure out where north is at night, follow the moss, it grows to the north" He said

I smiled when Jenny hugged back, I felt like time stopped, if it did, I would have been happy "Jenny... I think I like you" I said

"Oh yeah," I said, closing my eyes as if I couldn't bear that I forgot. "Sorry for bothering you."

Well that... was a bit sudden. Though Jenny had to admire how Austin just cut right to the chase, no beating around the bush or anything. "I... guess I like you too, Austin."

I smiled "You do! That's great!" I said before kissing Jenny on the cheek

"You didn't bother us" Ki said

I smiled to Virtru. Despite our shared interest in the dark angel, I didn't want her to think I was rude. "I'm doing alright. A little bit on the hungry side though, I must admit. Wanna show me what your group has put together, so far?"

"I tried hunting with two of the others last night, but all we got was a snake" Virtu said as she led Shadmé back to the camp

"Oh, wow," I sighed. Seems like food is scarce around here. Meat, at least. With all this forest, I'll bet there are berries or something. "Aaand…how would you eat a snake?" I had no clue that the reptiles were even edible!

"We descaled it and pretty much ripped it apart until we knew what was left was edible, then we cooked it" Virtu said "We do have some carrots and berries" She said as they arrived at the camp, noticing me and Jenny talking

"Huh," I replied thoughtfully, taking in that information. I guess I wasn't taking this seriously enough. I mean, we were going to be trapped here for who-knows-how-long. I'd have to get used to this. But I noticed Virtu pause, and I looked at what she saw. A teen was talking with a humanoid robot. As we watched, the boy gave the robot a kiss. My eyes promptly widened. Oh Palutena…was I invading their privacy? "Who…are they?" I choked out.

"That's Austin and Jenny, but I was not expecting to see this, lets just go back in the forest for now" Virtu said as she slowly backed up

I was about to take off until I saw the newcomer. "Hello, who are you?" I asked. It was one of those humans, but it had long, feathery wings like a bird, or maybe one of those horrible Air Dragons.

I backed up after Virtru, feeling my cheeks heat up with embarrassment. A voice inquiring my identity made me jump and spin. Talking to me was a yellow dragon. Due to the fact she was asking me and not Virtru, I decided that she was a member of the camp that had been set up. "I'm Shadmé. Shadmé the angel," I introduced politely. "Are you one of the camp, too?"

Jenny paused, placing a hand on her cheek in surprise. This boy certainly did like her! She felt that he was going at this a little quickly, but then again, to harp on this would be too hypocritical; she was guilty of rushing in on many a relationship too. Casually taking a glimpse to the side, she noticed the angel and fox girls arrive at their base, and greeted them with a wave and a smile.

"Nah, you're fine, good luck out there!" Foxtail dismissed Skyward's concern before sending her on her way, and Foxtail set off himself, eventually reaching the forest's border and stumbling across a sprawling plains. He found it interesting how abruptly the evergreen forset ended and the savannah began, almost like a map in a game. Vegetation was sparse, aside from the abundant tall grass, so the lack of edible plant matter provided a new challenge.

[I got a little ninja'd writing this >.<]

"Who knows, there could be more animals here" Ki said

I looked at Virtu and Shadmé "Oh no! How long were they watching?" I thought "H-hey Virtu... W-who's that?" I asked

"This is Shadmé, apparently she's friends with Dark Pit" Virtu said

I waved back to the robotic lady before nodding at Virtu. "Yeah. Don't worry about Dark Pit! If it's alright with you guys...may I join your camp?" I was unsure if they'd let me in. Even more worrying was that I didn't know who was the authority, here. Would he or she be okay with my presence?

"I'm sure Foxtail will be okay with it" I said

"Yay! A new friend" Virtu said as she hugged Shadmé

I smiled as the young anthro fox gave me a hug. She trusted me, at least. I looked over to the human, who hadn't yet introduced himself. "Foxtail?" Must be the leader. Jeez, did I stumble onto a fox tribe or something?

"Yeah, but so far all I've provided was information," I focused on Shadmé. "I can also communicate through telepathy, like I'm doing right now."

Kigali was right. It was long before Foxtail's specialized ears picked up the pitter-patter of a small creature wandering around- some kind of rodent, maybe? This was confirmed when a rabbit of brown hide hopped into view. Nothing much set it apart from any other rabbit, although it seemed to have a tiny pair of horns sprouting from its cranium. It was then that Foxtail's predator instinct kicked in. Crouched down low to the ground, eyes locked on his prey, he wound himself up and pounced on the little bundle of fur. His jaws clamped down on the rabbit, ending its suffering in a flash of sharp pain. He then proceeded to skin and eat the creature- it was a mere morsel, but it was still food nevertheless. One might say that this action was cruel and inhumane on the young fox's part, but he would be inclined to disagree. A fox has got to eat somehow, and he had those pearly whites for a reason.

He looked up at Ki with a twinge of guilt. "Sorry I didn't save you any" he apologized. "But hey, more where those came from," he said pointing to the numerous rabbit holes dotting the plains.

"Ooh, rabbits?" I looked over at the rabbit holes. "Sorry, gotta go." I broke off mental communication to focus on the rabbit holes. Seeing another rabbit emerge, I tried to copy what Foxtail did, not having much experience with hunting from my time in captivity. I pounced on the rabbit, just barely grabbing it before it slipped away. I offered it to Shadmé. "You want some?"

"Woah... I knew you still had feral qualities but... I will never get used to seeing bloob" Ki said as he tried not to vomit

"You'll love Foxtail Shadmé, he's a nice fox, but he can be a little... feral" Virtu said

I started to nod at the electric dragon before it took off quickly. "Feral?" I asked Virtru. Well go figure... Before I had time to add more, the dragon dashed back, offering me a rabbit it had recently caught. I blanched and took a step back. "Er...wow. Good catch? Could you...er, heat it up, perhaps?" Ew, raw meat! I may be an angel, but that thought sickened me as I realized we'd have to eat like this for as long as we were stuck out here.

Chico woke. He glanced at the sky. Oops. How long had he been sleeping? Chico's stomach growled.

"Yeah, he is a little wild even though he lives in a house back home" Virtu explained

"Oh, sorry, might want to cook that," Skyward apologized. "Anyone have a fire?"

"A question..." I ventured. "Is there any way to use metal shavings to create a fire?"

Chico crept out into the open. He was hungry. He decided to go hunting. The others would surely appreciate some more food...

Foxtail frowned; he had forgotten how squeamish his brother-in-law was. "Sorry, bro, I'll try to warn you next time" he apologized. Some remorse made itself at home in his mind for killing an innocent creature. Hopefully there were some less cuddly creatures he could eat around here...

Among the light breeze rustling the savannah's tall grass sounded a pair of voices, unlike any of the other survivors encountered as of yet. One sounded feminine with a New York accent not unlike Foxtail's dialect, while the other was deeper and more masculine, bearing an ambiguously British drawl. The two entities they belonged to weren't visible to Foxtail and Ki... yet, but they seemed to be arguing.
"...Look, I'm just sayin' I think we should go this way! I'm on to something here!"
"You've been leading us in circles the entire day! This is the third time we've crossed these plains! Admit it, Lotus, we are lost."
"Well, maybe we wouldn't be if somebody just sucked it up and asked those fishy guys back there for directions!"
"You can't be serious. Did you not witness their behavior? They were absolute savages! Those piscine brutes had stuck pigs' heads on pikes! You'd have to be batty to attempt negotiating with them!"
"It was worth a shot..."

"I don't think we have metal shavings" Virtu said

"Its ok" Ki said before hearing the voices "Lotus is here"

(I'm sorry I have been really sick... can someone ecplain the story so far? Where is my charscter and did I miss anything really important?

"Hmm… maybe if I used a lightning bolt, then it could set some tinder on fire," Skyward thought aloud. Although not really aloud, because she communicated through telepathy. "Or, if anything has something made of steel, and some flint…"

Chico heard footsteps. His ears pricked. They sounded small. Perhaps a squirrel? He crept closer, his dark fur blending in with the foresty background.

((Foxtail and Ki went to look for supplies, and everyone else met is at the camp where we met Shadmé))

"Metal... Jenny! Would you be willing to use a part of you to start the fire?" I asked

Virtu looked at Shadmé "Based on her reactions, she likes Dark Pit, I guess I can't compete with an angel" She thought

Jenny blinked. "Sure, just try not to scuff me up too bad" she complied, extending her metallic arm over the dormant campfire, which Foxtail had upgraded to a fire pit earlier that day. By placing a ring of rocks around the fire, the risk of it going haywire and causing a catastrophe were minimized.

Foxtail's ears perked up at the mention of the name, and he immediately recognized the familiar voices as those of two of his closest friends. Excited by the thought of them being here as well filled him with joy, but he was also dismayed- that is, that they were vulnerable in this miserable plane. Not wanting anything less than fortunate to happen to them, he immediately scampered of to find them.

"Not to sound like a know-it-all, but are you made out of steel?" Skyward asked. "Steel and flint is the best combination for a fire."

"Hmm... you have a point there" the female robot said, drawing her arm back. She seemed to "unscrew" the outer chassis of the limb, exposing her inner mechanics. This shell was made of a titanium alloy, which in addition to being very tough and durable, protected her more fragile steel endoskeleton. "Okay, now let's try it" she repeated, holding her now naked arm over the fire pit.

"I'm not sure about this" I said as I picked up a piece of flint and struck it against Jenny's arm, lighting the fire "Are you ok?"

Ki followed Foxtail "Lotus! Its your brother Ki!" He yelled

(I'm sorry but I may leave this rp because of my english. It's hard to roleplay. You don't need to control my character, he was not important anyway. I will come back if you want so, I just need some help

Jenny slipped her hand back on like a glove. "I'm alright" she said reassuringly.

Foxtail parted the tufts of dry grass to see his lovely vixen of a girlfriend and Ki's half-sister, Lotus Wild. Accompanying her was another old friend of Foxtail's, the cephalopodan genius visiting from millions of years in the future, Treetop Aspen.

"Treetop, Lotus!" The young fennec called out to his friends in unbridled joy.

"Foxtail!" they both exclaimed in unison. Lotus nearly sent Foxtail and herself tumbling to the ground as she tackled her boyfriend with a hug, then swiftly leaped into Kigali's arms upon noticing him.

Treetop, though thrilled to see Foxtail once more, kept his composure together, although he didn't hesitate to share a greeting high-five with his vulpine associate. "Fancy meeting you in this dreary realm, Foxtail" he said, dipping his eyestalks in Ki's direction in the form of a nod.

[It was at this point, I ran out of ideas of what to type, so here's a picture of a badger:]

"Ok" I said with a smile before holding Jenny's hand

Ki hugged Lotus "Hi sis" He said "Hey Treetop"

Seeing as they needed metal for the fire, I put on one of the Hedgehog Claws and shot some projectiles into a nearby tree. As they got stuck I walked over and removed the tiny metal shavings from the bark. "Do we need more metal?" I asked, walking back.

Dark Pit was enlarging his tree base so he could use different parts for storage.

"No, we're fine for now," Skyward looked over at Shadmé. "Which reminds me, I'll cook the rabbit for you."

"So I see," Treetop nodded after a short talk with Foxtail, during which the latter explained everything that had befallen them up to that point. "You haven't a clue how things have reached this point either."

Foxtail shook his head. "All I can remember is the name 'Maxwell', but other than that, I got nothing," he said, relaying that measly tidbit to his friend of superior intelligence. If Treetop couldn't make sense of it, then nobody could. The terrasquid pondered it for a second. "Now that you mention it, that name does sound vaguely familiar, though for the life of me, I can't fathom where I've heard it before..." Treetop racked his memory for answers, but eventually gave up. "Either way, I suppose we'll look more into this mystery when it becomes more relevant. For now, we must coordinate to survive the impending winter. I trust you've already established a base camp, Foxtail?"

Foxtail gave an eager grin. "You bet! And, heck, we found a bunch of other peeps to help out too! This survival game's gonna be a snap!"

"Excellent! We must return there, posthaste!" Treetop said to Foxtail, who nodded and led the way back with his friend in tow. It was a stroke of luck on Treetop's part that he and Foxtail had crossed paths; God only knows how long this fish out of water would have lasted out in the wilderness with nobody but the directionally confused Lotus at his side. Fortune had smiled upon him, and with Foxtail's survival instincts combined with his extraordinary intellect, he was confident that he would conquer it all with the power of his mind!


"So, is it just you guys out here?" Lotus asked Kigali.

"No, Virtu is at camp with Austin and some other people we met" Ki said as he held his half-sister, he always enjoyed seeing her
