I was at my TRU yesterday and they put out the last two Legendary micro comic packs w/ traps before the street dates.
Trust me, a small percentage of them are absolutely clueless. Light's on, but no one's home.
There's always that possibility of putting out stuff before schedule.

I think they are chase variants for the villains as they don't appear any different like if you put in the legendary undead orb it is still normal good old

By that logic all traps are chase. They dont change the appearance of villains but appear different in the collection screen

So true, SkyScratch. That happened at mine, and I helped a female employee removed the Blades and Jawbreaker comics off the shelves.
You see, 84skylanderdude, stores can get into serious trouble if they sell something before a designated street date. Severe penalties could happen.
To what extent, I don't know, but there would be lots of employees in trouble.

But we've already gotten official release dates for those items. Wave 3 doesn't have an announced date.
Some stores, no doubt, are going to put items out before the official date, but this Wave doesn't even have an official date.

But we've already gotten official release dates for those items. Wave 3 doesn't have an announced date.

They've used that machine in previous videos and the video you speak of. It couldn't have been a claw machine. They wouldn't have shown a claw machine on that channel for a video anyway; they'd put it on funnel vision most likely. So no, it couldn't have been the claw machine in that box.

We also have evidence that they may possibly have Blastermind, so don't jump to conclusions about them not having wave 3. They did get the game about a week before the actual release.

You're not talking about the Magic gate video they did are you? They used the Hood Sickle glitch for that, but didn't show how they got inside. Otherwise they would've fully shown Blastermind.

I also got the game before release as well. The skykids aren't the only people who get stuff from Activision you know.

Hood Sickle didn't show up in the bottom of the screen when they entered the gate. The only way they could've done that would be by opening the gate and then going in with Déjà Vu. There's also other evidence besides that video.

Two words: video editing. That includes cutting out parts of recorded footage, which the skykids used to make it look like Deja Vu went into the Traptanium Magic gate. They used the Hood Sickle glitch off-screen.

You can believe what you want to believe, but users have been using the Hood Sickle glitch on the Traptanium Gate since it was first discovered. The skykids only used that glitch.

evantubehd had a video on the 3ds version before the game came out with a 360 view of blastermind. case closed.

Also, I was pretty close with the Skylanders and Minis too.

I'VE GOT A DATE FOR WAVE 3!!!!!!
On myskylanders.de, next to the announcement for Winter Fest Lob-Star, there's an announcement for the release date for Wave 3....12/12/2014. However, I will have to get back to everyone for who that date applies to.
Same site, next page, also announces Enigma for 2015

Gearshift looks like a clear Wave 1/2 figure, despite what was said at prelaunch.
