Shadmé caught sight of the castle soon enough, just as another group was going in. "Hey!" she called, only before realizing how informal that sounded. After clearing her throat, she tried again. "Excuse me! Could someone tell me where Regine is? There is something I saw, and she must be informed."

Regine turned around, and paced toward Shadmé. "I am who you speak of. You might have to wait a while, for I intend to make the orc pay for burning down one of my country's most populous city.

"An Orc? Hang on, you know about this?" Shadmé was relieved that Regine was aware of this issue. "That was...what I was coming to report, anyhow. Then perhaps do you know of the destruction of the healer's center nearby?"

"I took part in warding off the creature that did so. So did those two women. Mind telling me where your from?" Regine asks.

"I see..." Shadmé murmured, then shook herself. "You seem to have things under control, then. I am the Dark Angel, from Aetahar. I flew over the Banar city that was destroyed, and decided to report it."

"Interesting. The Dark Angel... this title, is it linked to prowess in combat?" Regine asked, an eerie smile coming on to her face.

Rius eyed the new coming with a slight curiosity and almost slight annoyance, "Another pawn in this game? How interesting!" She said, making a mental notice of the countries now missing their champions. She gave Shadme an eerie smile as she introduced herself. "I am Marius Antenett. Of course some call me The Puppet Master, but that's business and this is pleasure. A pleasure to meet you."

"You as well," Shadmé replied to Rius, trying not to let Rius' odd way of speaking get to her. She turned to face Regine interestedly, and rubbed the back of her neck. A metal bow, held by a strap slung over her shoulder, was in range of her fingertips. Raising an eyebrow, she said "And why do you ask that?"

"If so, I would like you to accompany these women on a mission to contact the Dewl. However, as I do not trust you much, I advise them to be weary of you," Regine responded, eyeing the pair of elves near the end of her statement.

Shadmé nodded, moving her arm back to a rest position. This had started as a lucky...perhaps unlucky sight of the destroyed town, but she realized she needed to see this quest to its end. "I understand. I agree to come, and I promise I will not stir up any mischief. You say you are going to Dewlaine?"

"We are," Sashe stated. "Regine is not coming. And, if you ever desire to betray us, remember this: I've never melted an Aetian before. And melting backstabbers makes it more fun."

Shadmé turned to face Sashe as she spoke. "I...alright," she began to say, only to hear the rest of her threat. At that she resisted the urge to narrow her eyes, not wanting to appear aggressive, merely blinking in response. "I swear I have no ill wishes. Although, my words probably mean nothing yet." She stuck her hands inside her pockets casually. "I'm not one of those people who kills others for sport, alright?"

"Ok then. I guess you won't get mellted," Sashee giggle. The shine in her eyes was like somebody who was enjoying herself.

"That's good," Shadmé muttered. Her eyes casually flicked over the other members of the team. The Aetean wondered how long Sashe and Ruis had known each other, and if they really had a bond of trust between them. Their personalities seemed to match.

Marrius will let out a quiet chuckle before she motions to Sashe, "I believe that you should be more wary of many things more than The Dark Angel. " She said as she watched the way the two interact with a certain... fascination.

"Oh, I know. So... shall we start collecting supplies?" Sashe asked, motioning to the castle. "Here's to hoping they have a half decent staff."

Shadmé said nothing at first, only watching and hoping to fit in with the other ladies. "That would be wise. If Regine allows it."

"She said we could use supplies from the castle. She's right there..." Sashe stated, gesturing to Regine in her second sentence.

Regine nodded, "Yes, ladies, you may use supplies from the castle. I advise checking out the armory. We recently recieved a load of weapons. A few of which have tales attached to them."

"Right. Er, thanks," Shadmé said. "I could use a bit of armor." She was hoping to find lighter armor in particular. The heavier it was, the more difficult to navigate in the sky.

Rius thought for a moment before she replied, "Perhaps a quarter staff... Or maybe an actual staff. I don't need to to channel mana, mind you, but it is fun to have." She stated with a slight chuckle, "I'm told I look more imposing with a staff. Funny. Of course some puppets cave more easily when they're frightened." She explained as she began towards where she assumed the armory was.

"Does anyone, Rius? Most staffs I use grant more powerful mana," Sashe states, following Rius toward the armory.

Ooc: I'll describe them. Pick one up and I will tell you it's strengths.

Weapons:
Staves: One staff that appears to be made of plain wood, except the glowing red carving on it. Another staff is carved of pure Gold, with an inscription of the story of how Banar was founded. Yet another is of a light purple shade, with strange black arm-like structures hanging off of the sides.
Bows: A golden shortbow that appears to be able to be turned into two parts. There is also an exquisite Dragonthorne longbow with carvings of various animals on it.

Armor:
Robes: A velvet robe stands out with it's blood red color. Another appears to be made of flowing water.
Heavy: The only piece of heavy apparel is made of black rock, with multiple glowing orange cracks.
Light: A two-piece armor set appears to expose the stomach. A more conservative one is of an atractive indigo color.

Marius picked up and examined the staff with the arm like structures with a slight smile. Her eyes flashed as she turned it over in her hands, testing it's weight. "And this is certainly imposing... " She said allowed.

Demon's Grasp
Once, in a small Valhall village of Tibre, there was a feminine demon who brutally murdered churchgoers, using this staff to greatly strengthen her powers. After years of tormentation, the stubborn village finally sent for help. However, the demon could not be killed, and was binded within the staff instead.
Abilities: Summons demon, allows to control said demon. Strenthens mana. Can be used as blunt object.

Marrius smiled at the weapon as she held it. "I think I'll take this one if there is nothing for suited to my tastes. I do love the idea of another doll to toy with." She said, examining the other two staves.

Ooc:Sorry if you wanted to try the wooden staff. I actually made the one Rius is holding long before this RP started. When I read your character I was just like, "Dey beelong twogeddur." I'll describe the gold one in my next post.

Sashe picked up the carved wooden staff. The story to it was abou a Flugu man moving to Joton, bringing his daughter. In the end, he puts all his mana into a piece of firewood, allowing people from other who held it to use fire mana. "This one's mine!"

ooc: That's cool. Rius is a very controlling person. She'd love to have something new to toy with.

Rius smiled at Sashe, "Then I'll take this one. The golden one is far too flashy for my tastes." She replied as her gazed at it a while longer. She then let her eyes pass over the robes in the armory with slight disappointment. "I think I'll stick to my own attire for the moment being."

"Eh. Do you think that heavy armor would fit me?" Sashe asks, walking over to the heavy armor. "See anything in the light armor?"

Ooc: Anyone can wear light armor. while Robes are restricted to Spellweavers. Spellweaver Cultists, Trickster Trappers, and Combatants, can all wear Heavy Armor.

Marrius will motion to the light armor and glance at Sashe, "Well, there is this piece here. Of course with a gap like that you'd better hope not to be hit there." She said half jokingly.

Sashe removes the heavy armor from it's stand. She states, "I meant light armor for you. I'll put this on later."

Marrius made a noise of recognition with a slight nod. "I could wear light armor, although I prefer cloth to it." She replied calmly.

"I see. I think my fiery glowing staff looks good with this armor. They both glow... one with fire mana... the other with what appears to be lava," she states, noticng the indigo light armor. "How about this? The tag says it's dyed with Baneberry. Burns the skin of enemies... I wonder how it discerns between friend and foe. Seems to suit you."

Marrius eyed the armor and shrugged, "I suppose I could try it. It would make for interesting games." She said with an eerie smile. She picked the armor up, examining it more closely.

Groran
A hermit named Ruter once wandered the forests of Ginan. He made his home in a Baneberry Bush, where the fumes of dead berries served as a natural defense. Though immune to the more lethal uses, Ruter was subject to it's mind numbing effects. Eventually, the combination of loneliness and insanity drove him to dying his clothes, and dubbing it Groran. When people discovered Ruter, he'd had his eyes burned out. Some say it was a malovelent act of clothes. Who knows?

Advantages:
Burns at the skin of enemies when touched.

Shadmé watched the others discuss the armor and weaponry, as she stood idle and thought. Her bow was handy, capable and strong. She didn't intend on replacing it soon. However, her clothes were unfitting for a Aetean heroine, and wondered if there were positives in picking up armor. She moved closer to the armor to see if there was anything modest and light.

Banar Wardress
The founder of Banar wore this article of clothing into battle. Many aimed for the exposed spot on her flesh. This often lead to their downfall. The piece has been enchanted, to where when any uncovered body is aimed for, it's skin turns into daimonds. However, when the covered part of the body is aimed for, weapons meet small (but existant) resistance.

Shadmé smiled slightly when she noticed the Banar Wardress. After looking it over, it seemed to be quite defensive. Perhaps this was what she'd been looking for.

"Seems that's all that's left. I mean... there are the robes, yet it seems they wouldn't benefit you all that much," Sashe observed. She then began to walk towards a changing room. How funny that they had a stall-style changing room. For their armory.

Rius handed the armor she was examining to Shadme, "Here. Armor doesn't suit me very well. And I need all the pieces in this game alive for the moment." She stated before she examined the robes in the armory.

Surprised, Shadmé took the Groran. "Ah, well thanks." Her gaze shifted between the blue armor and the Banar Wardress. After weighing the pros and cons, she decided to accept the Groran and followed Sashe to the changing room.

Sashe entered one of the stalls, and took off her tunic. She put on the chest plate first, then the leg-guard. The boots, then the guantlets, and finally the helmet.

Queen's Best Friend
In the Capitol city of Dewlaine, Braum the two most saught after (by the government) groups are Mercenaries and Tailors. Men and Women who specialized in both brought even the then Queen Alexandra's attention. Thus, when Orc mercenary Sten offered to make her a robe, she was delighted. He made a deal that if she murdeed her husband, he would give her the dress. She obliged, and afterward found out the dress was enchanted to be attract the dead. Woopsies!

Advantages:
Summons undead cannon-fodder.

Rius went to try on the outfit with a slight smirk of interest. When she stepped out her smirk turned into a look of distaste. "Too flashy for my tastes, but the enchantment seems like a fun game." She stated as she looked down at the red, flowing robe. "Perhaps I could modify it later..."

Shadmé smoothed out the Groran and looked over herself. It was light, allowing her to move around skillfully, and a nice shade of blue. Color wasn't everything, of course, but she figured it would work for now. She exited the stall to see if everyone else had made their choices.

Sashe walked out of the stalls, garbed in her new armor. She glanced at Rius, before it turned into an open-mouthed stare. "That looks very... flashy. You sure you want that?"

"It is flashy, not really my cup of tea. However, perhaps I could modify it to be less so... Perhaps change a robe into a cloak? Or at least turn the fabric inside out as to nullify the color... " Rius muttered in a response with her look of distaste. She had worn the robe over her regular attire. Sure, she didn't care much for what she wore. But a flowing red robe made her an easy target as well as an eye sore.

"I could probably dye it a less noticeable color. I don't know how to make a hood out of it though," Sashe assented. She thoroughly enjoyed the making and using of dyes... though nowhere near as much pleasure was derived from it as she got from destruction.

Shadmé stared off into space as the others talked, lost in her own thoughts.
Dewlaine was next? She remembered how she'd come there of her own will, wondering if the dark caves would be more homey than the bright sky of Aetahar. Although her wind skills had gained a darker aspect to them, and she'd crafted her bow there, it wasn't as free as the sky. She'd left without telling anyone. As intrigued as she was to go back and see if any of the residents she'd met were still there, she wondered if she'd be run off, instead.

Marrius watched after Shadme as she left and then turned to Sashe. "Deflier, While it is a tempting offer... I do not believe now is the time." Rius said as she motioned toward where Shadme had left. She continued, "If all pieces are to be present in this game we must be after the one that attempted to leave."

Shadmé continued standing there, making no motion of recognition that she'd heard what Rius was talking about. She was fond of thinking things through, every angle, and that's what she was doing now.
