Not a trigger warning, per se, I don't know, violence...

Guy: Harasses, stalks, and attempts to kill a J-Pop idol by repeatedly stabbing her in her head and neck.

The entire comments section: wElL k-PoP fAnGiRlS aRe EvEn WoRsE

It's literally just because they're girls, and that is the most sickening thing I've ever heard. YES, there are some absolutely insane K-Pop fangirls who do disgusting things, including harassment and stalking, but these people were directly comparing a crazed fangirl who snuck backstage with no pants on to a guy attempting to murder the idol. She suffers from PTSD and is partially blind in one of her eyes now...

And yes, I am aware women can commit horrific acts of violence toward men. That is NOT my point. My point is that these people DIRECTLY COMPARED these incidents to each other, and several other K-Pop fangirls' crazy tendencies to this guy literally trying to murder someone. It's not that the K-Pop incidents shouldn't be taken seriously or just laughed off, but there's a clear difference here, for Christ's sake. And said people making these comments were at least 80% guys who hate the K-Pop genre, so there was an obvious bias.

The other thing filling the comments sections was guys making jokes about stalking and stabbing their crushes, which, you know, is just such a funny thing to joke about, period, especially when the incident they're joking about caused someone to have PTSD...

just gonna be the one then to say k-pop j-pop whatever pop fanboys or worse im not even gonna be fair about this the guys are worse just like in non celebrity situations guys are like 90% of the perps of these kinds of crimes people make a scene over the girls and give it all the hate and attention because its not as common and its not the normal because its shocking and its gonna get attention and its gonna sell but because of that jerks like what your saying use it as "they are so much worse haha look" when in reality if we tally it up your gonna be sorely mistaken my guy for bonus points it also annoys me when i see comments sections like that flooded of people who arent even a part of the k-pop or j-pop scene and their knowledge comes entirely from news articles and posts online and hot takes and reddit threads and the hysteria that comes with it and you get that view from the aforementioned sensationalizing of "haha look at creepy girl who who would get out of guys face" meanwhile we have even more serious problems e other way around look if your not in there you dont know if you dont do your real research you dont know STANS are bad regardless of gender but theres more and way more violent fanboys out here i am sorry
