Has Activision/Toys for Bob released any information about if they are going to try to improve the shortage of figures like what happened with Spyro's Adventure? I'm hoping that there will be less of a shortage this time around because a lot of people have all of the older figures from Spyro's Adventure and they did say that they weren't expecting the hype with the last game so that was part of the reason for the shortage.

i remember in an interview on line they talked about how they were making more figures to deal with the low amount of people finding them. I can't remember which vid but i'm pretty sure i've heard it mentioned in at least 2.

Okay there are 32 different characters from the first game plus an additional 5(37) reskins the game recognizes as distinct in game versions. Giants includes 8 (45) more new regular size figures and 8 (53) brand new giant size characters. There will be 24 (77) reposed figures and the game will be able to decipher the difference between these and the regular characters. There are also 8 (85) lightcore characters that the game will be programmed to distinguish. We also know of least 7 (92) in game reskins (6 legendaries and punch pop-fizz). There may be more reskins hidden in game.

This means we are currently looking at at least 92 distinct and identifiable version of characters in Giants.
