The wolf nods and takes off. He reaches a cave and pads inside.

Lia shifts to Lynx form and follows the wolf

The wolf looks at Lia and sets Xander down, backing up and pushing her back.
"Let's go. He'll be fine." It growls.

"Are you sure?" Lia asks

The wolf nods.
"Trust."

"Alright..." Lia says, her voice filled with worry

The screech of a strong predator bird resonated throughout the cave, but the wolf didn't flinch.

A hawk lands at Xander's side and tucks its wings. It looks Xander over before hopping off.

"What was that?" Lia mumbles

"A friend." Is all the wolf replies.

The hawk returns with herbs.

"Hey, what's up with you and your stupid vague replies? It's getting on my nerves" Lia said, anger filling her voice

OOC: Ah Lia

The wolf looks at Lia, sensing her aggravation.
"I'm sorry." he says shyly.

OOC:

"It's fine, but I mean, at least try to expand on what you're saying every once in a while" Lia says with a large sigh

"Like what?" he asks.

"Like instead of saying 'A friend' Elaborate a bit and say who that friend is and what the heck it's doing" Lia says

"Hawk. Curing illness." The wolf says, blinking.

Lia drops her head and sighs "It's progress. Thank you"

"Your name?" The wolf asks.

"Liana-Grace. Just call me Lia though. And your name?" Lia asks

"Badru." he replies quietly.

"Nice to meet ya" Lia says

"You...to." Badru drags out the words slowly.

"So what's the hawk guy doing exactly?" Lia asks

"Helping." Badru says.

Lia's head drops "Helping with what?" Lia said in annoyance

"Helping your friend." Badru says.

"I see" Lia said

Xander shifts awake and his eyes widen at the sight of the boy with hawk wings leaning over him.

"H-hello. Y-ou w-woke up." the boy stutters.

Xander nods.
"Who are you?"

"I-I d-don't h-have a n-name. P-please t-try n-not t-to m-move t-too m-much. I-i'm t-trying t-to h-help." he stutters.

Badru stops.

"Xander! He's awake" Lia shouts happily

Badru nods.
"I hear them talking. No interrupting. You'll scare him." he says.

Lia growls in annoyance "Fiiiine" She huffs

Xander looks at the ceiling as the hawk boy cures his fever with herbs and small chants.

"You sound like you miss him." Badru inquires, looking to the storm clouds.

Lia nods "Yeah. Only known the guy for a short while though" Lia says

The hawk boy screeches again as he finishes and disappears.

Badru nods.
"I see." he hears the screech. "Come. He is done." he says, padding towards the cave.

Lia follows behind Badru silently

Badru walks to the cave's entrance.

Xander hears the pawsteps and smiles at Lia.

"Hi Xander" Lia says cheerfully

"Hey Lia. I'm all better." Xander smiles.

Badru pads past Lia into the cave, returning a few seconds later.
"He wants to talk with you." he says to Lia.

"He?" Lia questions

Badru nods with his head for Lia to follow.

Lia follows Badru

As they reach the deepest part of the cave, Badru stops. He slowly swishes his tail.

"Y-you b-brought h-her?! I-I d-didn't t-think s-she w-would c-come." a small voice stutters wildly.

"Who is it?" Lia says looking around

"H-hi. I-i'm s-sorry f-for t-the w-weird m-meeting." a boy stutters, wandering out.

The boy is smaller than Lia, but a year older than her. His arms are molded into hawk wings, proving that they had never been human except for the small hands on the end of morphed wings for which he could grab things. The boy's amber eyes were fierce, unlike the rest of his frail body. His neck also sported a few feathers of different shades of brown.

Lia morphs to human form to try to be a little less intimidating. "What did ya want to talk to me about?" Lia asks

"Y-you're b-boyfriend, I-i'm a-at l-least a-assuming t-that's w-who h-he i-is. H-he's s-suffered a-a h-huge t-trauma. H-he w-will t-take a-awhile t-to r-recover. H-he a-also h-hit h-his h-head. I-it's n-nothing t-too b-bad t-though." the boy stutters.

"Oh... I see... I'll make sure to take care of him, and inform the others about what happened and his condition" Lia says

The boy quickly shakes his head.
"O-oh n-no. D-don't t-tell a-anyone a-about w-what h-happened, p-please. Y-you're f-friend d-doesn't w-want p-people t-to k-know a-about m-me o-or a-about h-his f-flashbacks." he stutters quickly.

"Oh, okay" Lia says "I won't say anything then"

"T-thank y-you u-um..." the boy trails off not knowing Lia's name.

"Lia." Badru says.

"L-lia. S-sorry." the boy replies.

"You're welcome. Do you have a name?" Lia asks the boy
