"Because that would end dramatickly wrong!" I yelled.

"Very well then." I replied, somewhat surprised.

A dark, corrupted voice came out of me as I groaned to Popfizz's comment.

"What's wrong now?" I asked NINJAsk in confusion.

"ShUt UP!" I yelled.

"NINJAsk..." I trailed off, putting a hand on my friend's shoulder. "Stay calm." To popfizz I said "Yes, leave the chain pieces here. They're obviously providing a bit of power. Pulling them could doom us all."

I nodded, May Jesus save us all... I thought, he shed his precious blood, and I would/will to if ever necessary.

OCC: Me, NINJAsk, and Shame are in the "power room" and I don't know what anyone else is doing.

OoC: Upon entering dark52's castle, we discovered we were in the main room where the users were initially supposed to arrive from. We went into another room, the power room, and found out there's a chance that the blue and red chains are the power sources for this world, evidenced by a few leftover shards. However, they aren't the major source, and we're trying to figure out what else is being used as a source of power in addition to finding dark52. I'm kinda chilling now and waiting for other people to post.

"So..." I said slowly, "what can we do here?"

"Lets just-" I stopped when i heard footsteps.

I turned around, "Who's there?" I asked, loudly.

I turnaround too.

OoC: Who are you planning that to be? X3

I had heard the footsteps too, slow and ponderous, as if the user was injured or disoriented. Could it be dark52, the one we'd been looking for, one of our friends, or something else?

Well this will be the suspension of disbelief.... I thought, planning to guard Shadme and NINJAsk if necessary.

I slowly sneak towards the sound.

OoC: I agree!

A door creaked open in the room we were in. I guess another section of the room? Something, the creature's eyes, gleamed as it stepped out.
It took me a second to realize its eyes weren't gleaming- the pair of spectacles on its snout were. It was a four-legged, familiar purple dragon wearing a lab coat. It casually glanced over our small group, as if scanning us mentally, then let a small smile form on its face. "Greetings. I see you've found the castle. I am the administrator- you'd know me as dark52."

OoC: Although we probably shouldn't get too far ahead without Prex and the others... :c
Just in case you were wondering- she gave me permission to control dark. ^.^

I immediately knee-led before him, "Greetings Administrator," I said like a knight adressing his superior, "on a another note, are you Catholic?"

I say notthing, and spread my wings.

Dark52 stretched his wings. "Thank you, though it is unnecessary. I'm not a god." He chuckled lightly. Even though it wasn't dangerous in any way, the laugh just made me shiver. Dark52 seemed nice enough, but I had questions. If it was a facade, it wouldn't fool me.
"Why are we here?" I asked boldly, stepping forward. "Can you take us home?"

"Well, I meant if you believe in God sir." I explained.

I just move my tail around, as well as flapping with my wing.

((Lets wait for others, someone alert the others))

I immediately stood back up, trying to be calm.

Darin stood and waited, anxious to hear the answer. He spread his wings for a moment, comparing them to that of Dark52's.

dark52 smiled again, but this time in a more sly way. It still creeped me out. "ShadowMewX, right? Oh, you're here to test out my new program. It's a branch off the forum- a virtual reality. All the users from DarkSpyro will soon be invited to come here. There are a few kinks that need to be worked out-" like the fact out doppelgängers and dark sides were created? I thought in my head- "but that is why you came here."
"Why us, though?" I continued, emboldened by the fact my friends were backing me up.
"Roleplayers have good imaginations," he answered. "They would be able to adapt to the fact that they were brought here, and would survive on their own with more success."
There were so many more questions floating around in my head. I wondered if the others were as curious as I.

"So you're saying all of this is a fantasy?" I asked.

A few kinks? A whole lot more then a few... "And if so... what exactly has become of our bodies? Our... real bodies?," Darin asked knowing that he wasn't alone in wanting to know.

dark52 faced the Pokemon fusion. "Well, popfizzfan4life, not exactly. I'll answer redwes' question along with yours. All of this-" he gestured with his paws- "is computer programming at its finest. I'll spare you the details. In addition, your essence has been transmitted to the program. All of this is virtual, except for your essence. Your soul, if you will. Your bodies, your abilities to transform, your wounds, this realm- it is all a miracle of science and computers." Dark52 nodded to redwes as he continued. "I'm sure you're anxious to hear that you're trapped in a coma, in a hospital, barely on the edge of life and death. I will tell you that is not true."
Through his speech I had tried to keep my expression neutral as I took it all in. But it was really coming as a shock now. "You are still 'living', in a way, on Earth. There, it appears as if nothing has ever happened here. Your guardians might not even notice, depending on your personality. But your essence is here."
"How do we survive without...a soul?" I asked, trying to make sense of everything.
"I said, 'depending on your personality.' On Earth, you may be able to eat, or learn, or talk, but the fine features of your personality are here," dark52 told us calmly. I rubbed my head, groaning slightly. Was being a zombie on Earth better or worse than being in a coma?

"That doesn't seem very moral, wouldn't our loved ones fret if we acted like zombies?" I asked.

"That..." i shot forewards. If he is true my parents have already send me to a docter. "Send me back!" I shouted starting to fearing the worst.

"Send me back!" I yelled again.

"Depending on your personality," dark52 repeated to popfizz. His tail twitched slightly at NINJAsk's request, but turned to the other user instead. "You're Lyveriana, newest user here. Anyhow. What are you speaking of? I believe my actions are justified. I have not done one thing to hinder your progress here. You did everything yourselves. I gave everyone fair chances."
"Fair...chances?" I asked, an idea starting to well in my mind. "What about Skyhunter? chained skull? R...Rickorio? All the users that went missing- where are they?"
dark52's gaze flicked to the door behind him, but then returned to us. "I gave them a chance, but they didn't last. They weren't able to adapt."
"You didn't answer my last question," I breathed. "Where. Are. They?" What is dark52 hiding and why? What is behind that door- I have to know!

"Fool!" I yelled upon the mention of Ricko. Tears streaming into my face.

OoC: Now would be a great time for him to make a surprise appearance. But I mentioned Rickorio for a reason!

"Well that was impolite," dark52 shrugged to NINJAsk. "As for ShadowMewX...hm."
I didn't stay to listen to his answer. I lunged around him and grabbed for the doorknob behind him. "What is in here?!" I screeched, yanking it with all of my strength. dark52's eyes flashed an eerie white before tackling me away. "Get away from there!"
"I need to know!" I shouted back, tears running down my face as well. "Where's Rickorio?!"
"Not here," he hissed in response, lashing out with me with a paw. I got hit in the face, reopening a wound from the Darx and derpy battle. "NINJAsk! Get the door!"

I was taller then Dark52 no matter what, so I rushed foreward and jumped on his head, making him bang on the floor, getting to the door. "Out of the way! Pissed Valorian crossing your day!" I yelled as I crashed into the door and FIRED MAH LASER!
The door vaporised.
"FIX THAT!"

I stepped back, somewhat in surprise, What's going on here? I thought, And should I fight back?

OoC: Welcome back! :3 Maaaybe not burn the castle, but do make your way here and totally bust in on us. As you can see, NINJAsk and I are having breakdowns.

I had lost them. I don't know how, but something had driven me away from them. I was blazing through the forest, burning down every tree as I went, tears evaporating from my face. I didn't care. I wanted to find them. "Where are you?!" I yelled with all of my emotions, rage, fear, anger, and sadness all combined.

I saw the castle in the distance, and roared as I headed straight toward it.

In the meanwhile, I was having a breakdown against the door.

I was only twenty meters away from the castle as I roared in complete rage, shooting a blast of fiery breath at one of the walls, destroying it.

((You go anywhere with that, was it one of the power room's walls, I dunno. ))

OoC: Mega ninja alert! XP

I clutched a hand to my face as dark52 was pounded down by NINJAsk. It allowed me to struggle to my feet and get up after her. She'd knocked down the door, so we stood there, looking into the gloom.
But it wasn't completely dark. There were slightly-glowing capsules on the sides, like in the main room. They were also humming. And a wire connected each tube to a large generator in the center.
Something put a chill down my spine. There were things IN the capsules. A sliver hedgehog, a male Stealth Elf, a mechanical pony, a silver dragon, a dark dragon, a yellowish human, a paper character, a furry pyro... the list went on and on. And each one had a name card next to it.
chained skull. assassinelf. icedragon333. weebbby. mrdarkspyro. Troll Slug. MagicFizz. Skyhunter.
So the chains had been a power source, once upon a time. But now, the true power source were the missing users.
