"Good for you." Sybil said sarcastically. "Can we head back now?" she asked. It was obvious that too much cold was making her cranky...

The elephant brothers nod and start the trek down the mountain back to their home. Anvor makes sure that Sybil is as comfortable as she can be before heading back. I am curled up besides Stripes and Rose on Bjorn's back.

Sybil felt ridiculous being all curled up in the young elephant's trunk, but she knew that all that was to make poor AJ better, so she tried to stay calm and stop complaining.

chica ran alongside the elephants again. aerigil, please be alright...

OOC: Once there is a conclusion to the character AJ's health, we'll skip the scene to Chica's den instead of getting down the mountain.

Anvor moves Sybil to his back where Royal drapes his wings over her to keep her warm.

Royal smiles and rubs his head against Sybil's.

"There you go Sybil, nice and warm as well as comfortable."

Sybil did feel the warm, and couldn't believe that elephants were that warm, especially since didn't have fur, but of course, their mass weight is enough. "Listen AJ, I think you must be feeling better by now. The herbs and this cold must be enough. We better head soon. Too much cold isn't good for anybody... except cold-loving animals of course." she explained. Though the mountain was beautiful, she wanted to leave as soon as possible...

Royal shakes his head.

"AJ will only feel better after we have killed the fever. In order to do that we must make him hot by curling up with him. This will cause him to sweat and kill the fever."

"then not only We should do that at my den, we should start now," Chica said, "carry me up to aregil." she now regretted getting off the elephant's back, but if she tried to climb back on, she could scratch the elephant's back with her claws.

Bjorn nods and gently picks up Chica before setting her only his back where Rose, Stripes and I are. Cold sweat flows down my entire body and I continue to shiver as the fever continues to rage on. I open my eyes as I hear Chica's voice.

"Chica," I say with a weak smile.

OOC: Ok, let's skip to Chica's den.

Finally away from all that cold, Sybil was cuddling up on the grass. But as they were descending to the mountain, she had noticed something that looked like a cat. Was it a lynx or a mountain cat? She had seen a bunch of snow rabbits along the way, so it wouldn't be much surprise. With that info, she wanted to return to the mountain and form an alliance with them, whatever they were. She already had an alliance with the birds and the orcas, so why not? She felt she needed to be acquaintances to all the creatures on the Island that were NOT on the Outback.

Kona was settled under a bush, snoring softly.

Chica was curled up beside aregil, trying to keep him as warm as she can.

Nearby of the others, Skaliscin was stretched out across a rock, trying to warm up in the sun after that dreadful trip up the mountain. Speckles was at the base of the stone. The two were talking together-- they were talking about A.J..

Voacivenom, unnoticed by the others, watched Sybil in the grass. Was he stalking her? It was only a matter of time before someone found him; red and black contrasts with green.

OOC: Hello there people, I have been meaning to put Kallik and Sayan in the drawing, but I can't find it. I am very sure is somewhere around my house, but I need to find it

After a while, Sybil came to realize that if she stayed there for long, the mountain was going to feel much colder. Making sure that neither of her friends was watching her, she secretly head back to the mountain again, hurrying up to avoid any concern from the others, especially those overprotecting elephants...

OOC: That's fine, Felines. It's nice of you to put them in at all.

Curious, and driven by something no-one else noticed, Voracivenom silently followed Sybil up to the chilling mountain.

Back at the secluded pond, Sayan laid down again and looked at Jaerl. "So... Jaerl; how are the others doing?," he asked. Being out of the loop... he wasn't aware of the whole tree incident nor was he aware of anything else that happened recently.

Kona raised her head and bush leaves poked her. "Hey-" She started, then realized it was the bush that poked. Kona rolled her eyes and laid down with her head on her paws.

Sybil was very sure that she was alone on that chilly mountain. She already walked a lot, at least the exercise made her body warmer. Having her body in constant motion could also attract an animal that was nearby, which she hoped it was a lynx or a mountain cat, whatever was there. She doubted there were any big predators, so she felt pretty safe.

After several minutes, there was no trace of anything. She saw a couple of snow rabbit footprints, but nothing more. She was beginning to wonder if it was a cat or something else that she saw. She waited several minutes more, but since she couldn't find a thing, she gave up the search, and started wondering if she was being too greedy. She already had an alliance with the birds and the orcas. Wasn't that enough? With that in mind, she decided to leave the big freeze and head back home. Whatever she saw, she was going to let it get on with it's life...

Chica looked up to see that Sybil wasn't around. "probably just some errands," Chica thought out loud, and laid her head on AJ

OOC: We need a bump, eh?

OOC: It happens. This RP stops being visited, and then all of the sudden, it receives a lot of posts.

Sybil returned to her tree. It felt great returning to the warmth of the place, though she still worried about Rose and AJ. She was starting to feel that she left too many things to Chica alone. She was her second-in-command, but still, it was her job to look for the well being of everyone. With this in mind, she couldn't get any rest, so headed back too Chica's den...

Jaerl gazes at Sayan and looks in the direction of Chica's den.

"AJ's really sick on top of being badly hurt. We lost Ivor to the humans but have gained a new member, a badger that engineered the entire underground sanctuary. Rose suffered a fall and broke her leg but she's getting better. We finally recruited the Keas but Yodel makes it very hard for them and anyone who tries to help."

I rest with Chica and Rose. I sweat profusely as I sleep. The fever starts to go away slowly but surely.

Back at Chica's den, Sybil was nearby, but was walking vert slowly. She then gave in a nasty sneeze. Was it possible that the cold climate fron that very high mountain was making her sick? Oh no. AJ was already sick, and Rose was injured. It wouldn't be acceptable to have another animal to be taking care of, especially her...

Chica's ears perked at the sound of the sneeze, and looked out the entrance of her den. "Sybil, have you been in the mountains?" she asked

Kona was restless. She got to her paws and shook her fur. Kona stomach growled. She decided it was time to hunt. Kona sniffed the air and trotted silently through th forest. She stopped. Kona smelled mice, and lots of them. She ran towards a tree and started digging underneath it. Se unearthed a family of mice.

"No..." she stammered, but she knew how awfully bad she was at lying, so she got to the point."Well, yes. I needed to know what was there." she briefly said with a sniffle. The civet hoped that it was just a simple common cold, able to be cured by itself in no time...

"I'm surprised that there are rabbits up there, might come up there again" Chica said, licking her lips. She was born to live in the cold, so her main diet was rabbits. After eating Australia fauna, not that she found it bad, she missed the savory of the large hooved animals and the small american prey.

Kona darted a paw in the small hole, hoping to kill one. Her claws were reaching in. Kona took her paw out and shoved her head in. The fox felt her jaws snap bones and she got her head out of the hole. She looked at the mouse. All the others had gotten away. Kona sighed and bent down to eat it. Once she had eaten, Kona stood up.

Voracivenom peered out of the grass to get Sybil's attention. "Excuse me, but I'd like to speak with you about something."

Sybil was gonna refuse Rose's offer tp rest, but she didn't want to be rude. After Chica's comment, she was about to say something to her, until she noticed what Voracivenom just said. "Oh, something the matter?" she asked in her most polite voice, hiding very well any trace of unease she still had towards the new snake.

There has to be more prey around here somewhere, the Island fox thought. She walked around a while, looking and smelling for prey.

OOC: Hey people, I put Kallik and Sayan in the drawing. Only Kona remains...

OOC: Shanks.

OOC: Still need to work out wher to put the fox. I believe she is already a recurring character, or at least working on it

ooc: i feel like this is starting to die down.... NO!

A little movement caught Kona's eye. She wasn't sure what exactly it was, but it was an animal.

OOC: Sorry if I'm inactive. I've been working on my drawings and a short story based on the book series I'm writing.


"Nothing's wrong. I just needed to make an announcement to all the residents soon, if it isn't inconvenient," Voracivenom replied, mirroring Sybil's politeness. There was a nervous edge to his voice, as if being around the civet made him uncomfortable.

"Well, everyone must find out sooner or later about you." the civet replied, thinking that the announcement was to introduce himself. "Well then, I must get going. Chica, think you can take care of Rose and AJ for a while? I must go someplace fast." Sybil said, turning to the wolf. That was all of the sudden. Even the civet noticed the hint of mystery in her voice when she said that, but something just came in her mind that she needed to take care of...

"of course" Chica replied. She snuggled closer to aerigil, still feeling the heat radiating from him.

Giving one last gaze at the snake, Sybil headed to big tree; Yodel's home. There was something upsetting her...

Finally reaching the big tree, Sybil called. "Hey Mambo! MAMBO." no reply. "Oooh! What is that bird up to now?" she said in annoyance. She didn't even bothered the same with Yodel. She knew he was still in hiding after what he did, and it was going to be a prolonged moment. After a while, a kea descended, not Mambo, it was Cole.

"Now what seems to be the trouble? he said bluntly but somehow polite as well. He and his sister were the only serious keas around. "If you're looking for the boss, he went out to the beach, finding out how the orca's blowhole work." he said as if that was the most normal thing in the world.

"He is what?" Sybil said in much confuse, but in the short time she knew that crazy kea, she realized that was normal. "Oh, just forget it. Cole, when he returns, can you tell him to meet me? I need you guys to explore the mountains. I know you can stand that cold, and I really need that." she explained. "Oh, and if Yodel returns, tell him to meet me as well..." she then said with doubt and sarcasm. Cole nodded, and Sybil was now heading back to Chica's den...
